Ringkasan: Latar Belakang: Persalinan sectio caesarea (SC) mengalami peningkatan global termasuk Indonesia.

Introduction: Caesarean surgery can cause pain that affects mobilization, daily activities, and the process of breastfeeding the baby. Baby-led feeding is one of the recommended breastfeeding positions for postpartum mothers post-Caesarean because it feels more relaxing. However, the effectiveness of baby-led feeding at reducing the pain levels needs further research. This study therefore aimed to determine the effect of baby-led feeding on the pain intensity among post-Caesarean section patients. Methods: The research design used was quasi-experiment with a pre-test-post-test control group design and multi-stage sampling. This totaled 26 respondents across the two groups. The biological nurturing baby-led feeding treatment was given every feeding time. The research instrument used was the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), and the data was analyzed using a Paired Sample T-Test and an Independent Sample T-Test with α ≤ 0.05.Results: This study showed there to be an effect of biological nurturing baby-led feeding on the pain intensity experienced by the patients with a p-value of 0.000 (p≤0.05). There were significant differences in pain intensity between the intervention and control groups with a p-value of 0.001 (p≤0.05).Conclusion: Biological nurturing in the form of baby-led feeding is effective at reducing the pain intensity of post-Caesarean section patients. Further research recommends that post-intervention pain observations be carried out on the first day after the baby-led feeding intervention is initiated.

A total of 38 nurses who experience sleep disorders due to working shifts were included in this study. The PSQI questionnaire was utilized as the instrument to measure sleep quality. Data analysis involved the Mann-Whitney test. Results: The average sleep quality before the intervention was in the mild category; after the intervention, most were in the good category. The results showed that the sleep quality of nurses who received spiritual relaxation was better than the control group (p<0.001).Conclusion: Spiritual relaxation therapy effectively improves the sleep quality of nurses experiencing sleep disturbances due to shift work.

Other studies presented the combination of early mobilization and spiritual relaxation could reduce the level of client pain postoperative appendectomy, however the effectiveness of spiritual relaxation techniques to reduce dysmenorrhea is not yet tested. Objective: to determine the effect of spiritual relaxation to reduce dysmenorrhea.Method: The research design used was Quasi Experiment with the pretest-posttest Control Group Design approach. The populations were female students who experienced menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The variable in this study was dysmenorrhea. The sampling technique was simple ramdom sampling consisted of 44 respondents. The calculation instrument was NRS (Numeric Rating Scale) and data were analyzed through statistical test of Paired T-Test and Independent T-Test.Results: After spiritual relaxation treatment, the intensity of menstrual pain reduced significantly from 6.05 - 1.77, it proved that there was an effect of spiritual relaxation on dysmenorrhea with a significant value (ρ) of 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05). There were significant differences in the intensity of menstrual pain in the intervention and control groups (1.77 ± 1,109 vs 5.63 ± 0.445; p> 0.05).Conclusion: Spiritual relaxation effectively reduces dysmenorrhea

Globally, the prevalence of dysmenorrhea in women is still high. Dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls that is not treated can interfere with daily activities and learning activities. Therefore, adolescents need to learn and understand the factors that affect dysmenorrhea. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of dysmenorrhea. This study was case control in design. The study included 300 participants, 120 of whom were selected using the purposive sampling technique from among the adolescent girls in the Muzamzamah Chosyi'ah Dormitory of Darul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School. A questionnaire was employed as the research tool. At a significance level of α <0.05, the data were analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. The results of the analysis test showed that there was no effect of menarche age and the number of menstrual flow on the incidence of dysmenorrhea (p>0.05). The incidence of dysmenorrhea was influenced (p<0.05) by the menstrual cycle, duration of menstruation, family history, and BMI. The dominant factor influencing the incidence of dysmenorrhea was family history (p=0.000; Exp(B): 129.98). Family history of dysmenorrhea has a greater potential for the occurrence of dysmenorrhea because it is related to genetic factors that pass on traits to their offspring. It is recommended to adopt a healthy lifestyle such as exercising regularly, fulfilling balanced nutritional needs, and maintaining ideal body weight.
