Abstract

Perkembangan zaman mendukung penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal untuk menjaga kelestarian keanekaragaman di Indonesia. Booklet adalah media pembelajaran yang fleksibel dan efektif. Biota laut sangat banyak ditemukan pada wilayah perairan Indonesia, salah satunya Mimi Mintuna biota lokal yang belum banyak dikaji. Pemahaman mengenai Mimi Mintuna beserta kandungan senyawanya masih sangat minim. Penelitian dilakukan bertujuan untuk membuat media pembelajaran kelas X SMA berupa booklet Mimi Mintuna yang valid. Penelitian pengembangan dengan metode 4D. Parameter yang diukur yaitu validitas booklet ditinjau dari validasi oleh dosen ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru biologi. Kepraktisan booklet ditinjau dari keterbacaan booklet dan hasil respons peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian telah menghasilkan booklet Mimi Mintuna yang valid. Hasil validitas booklet Mimi Mintuna diperoleh persentase rata-rata 98,63% kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji keterbacaan level 10 maka sesuai dengan jenjang SMA. Hasil respons peserta didik diperoleh persentase rata-rata 95,8% kategori valid. Dengan demikian, booklet layak digunakan untuk peserta didik jenjang SMA kelas X IPA. Kata Kunci: booklet, Mimi Mintuna, senyawa bioaktif, media pembelajaran, kearifan lokal

Abstract

This study aims to identify the gastropod diversity in the Gembolo River, Pungging District, Mojokerto Regency. The sampling method used was manual collection (hand picking) at three observation stations, and species identification was conducted based on morphological characteristics. The results showed that five gastropod species belonging to four families were found in the Gembolo River. The diversity index value of 1.06 indicates a moderate level of diversity. The dominance index value of 0.42 suggests that no single species dominates the gastropod community. In conclusion, the gastropod diversity in the Gembolo River is categorized as moderate, with no dominant species observed. Keywords: Biodiversity, Gastropods, Freshwater Snails, Morphometry

Abstract

This study aims to describe the presence of Pomacea canaliculata in Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency, and to identify its morphological and morphometric characteristics. The method used was purposive sampling, with specimens collected from three different locations: Saman Hudi River, Kepatihan Village rice fields, and Kenongo Village rice fields. Morphological observations included shell coiling direction, shell shape and color, aperture shape, umbilicus type, and operculum type. Morphometric measurements covered shell height and width, tentacle length, body whorl height, and aperture height and width. The results showed that Pomacea canaliculata shells are round, with yellowish-brown to dark brown coloration and spiral line patterns following the coiling direction. The aperture is oval to elongated crescent-shaped, slightly widened at the base, with a slit-type umbilicus, and a corneous operculum with concentric rings and a subcentral nucleus. Based on morphometric analysis using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), the largest Pomacea canaliculata individuals were found in Kepatihan Village rice fields, while the smallest were found in Saman Hudi River. Differences in morphology and morphometry among locations indicate significant environmental influences, including habitat conditions and natural selection.
