Abstract

The study was conducted as an effort to raise the potential of local culinary hjiir mentuk as a tourist attraction. The location of the research was carried out in Tobati Village through a qualitative approach and literature. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation and literature searches. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out through reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Tobati Village is known for cultural tourism, especially the art of relief, dance and singing including its culinary arts so that it can be developed as a tourist village. Culinary as one of the sub-sectors of the creative industry has great potential as a tourist attraction, such as; Processed papeda made from sago with yellow sauce. This culinary can be juxtaposed with the dessert hjiir mentuk from Tobati Village which is part of the travel experience. The local culinary potential can be developed through promotional activities by implementing the DOT BAS and POSE strategies; Destination, Origin, and Time [DOT], Branding, Advertising, and Selling [BAS] and Paid Media, Own Media, and Social Media [POSE]. This promotional activity can be carried out jointly through synergy between the government, tourism industry players and the community. Through promotional activities, it can increase tourist visits which stem from improving the quality of life of the community.

Abstract

The study aims to know and describe the quality of services and arrangements in the land certificates processing at Land Office of Jayapura Regency, Papua Province in Indonesia. This was a qualitative research by using service quality theory. This theory consists of five main dimensions namely, tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance. The primary data was obtained through observation and interviews, while secondary data was obtained through library research. Data analysis was carried out through reduction and presentation, conclusions, and verification. Therefore, the results showed that service procedures were implemented according to standards, and the officers' competence were considered adequate. However, in terms of facilities and infrastructure, service standards did not meet the required expectations. Finally, the duration of the process indicated that the services provided were not responsive to the community needs. Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kualitas pelayanan dan pengaturan pertanahan dalam pengurusan sertifikat tanah hak milik di Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Jayapura, Provinsi Papua. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menuang teori kualitas pelayanan yang terdiri atas lima dimensi pokok: tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, assurance. Data primer diperoleh melalui pengamatan dan wawancara, data sekunder berasal dari studi kepustakaan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prosedur pelayanan telah dilaksanakan sesuai standar pelayanan, serta kompetensi petugas juga dinilai telah memadai. Kendati demikian, dari segi sarana dan prasarana belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan standar pelayanan, lamanya proses penyelesaian pengaduan juga mengindikasikan bahwa pelayanan yang diberikan kurang memuaskan kebutuhan masyarakat selaku pengguna layanan.

Abstract

A particular charm accompanies the existence of several islands in the Lake Sentani area. An example of such places is Asey Besar Island, which is frequently visited by tourists and has several natural spots and historical heritage assets. Consequently, this research was conducted to map the potential tourist spots that have become attractions in Asey Besar Island. It was also performed to reveal the environmental conditions by utilizing Sapta Pesona or the seven enchantments’ elements. A qualitative descriptive approach was used for the research, while a SWOT analysis was performed to formulate alternative strategies that are potentially useful in developing tourism in the area. The study results showed that the Sapta Pesona concept had not been fully realized and revealed potential tourist spots and attractions for the island. These spots include a white ship, an old church, bark carvings, water, and cultural tourism, as well as the Lake Sentani Festival. Alternative strategies that were found useful in developing Asey Besar Island tourism objects are the provision of road infrastructure and building tourism support facilities, such as cafes, homestays, and Instagramable photo spots. Other strategies are improving the environmental quality, maintaining cleanliness, performing effective tourism promotion activities, as well as supporting and realizing the development of tourism objects based on Sapta Pesona.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis online menjadi tren baru seiring dengan merebaknya pandemic Covid-19. Kesenjangan digital mulai dari akses internet hingga penguasaan teknologi (gagap teknologi) menjadi permasalahan tersendiri dalam proses penerapan pembelajaran online. Olehnya itu, penting untuk dilakukan pelatihan pemanfaatan fasilitas google dalam proses pembelajaran. Mengingat google menawarkan beragam fitur yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini difokuskan kepada guru Penjas di Kota Jayapura dengan menerapkan metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yang dibagi dalam 3 (tiga) tahapan; persiapan, pelaksanaan dan refleksi. Peningkatan keterampilan para peserta dalam menggunakan fitur google menjadi tujuan akhir dalam kegiatan pelatihan tersebut. Termasuk memberikan motivasi kepada peserta dalam meningkatkan kompetensi literasi digital. Dengan kompetensi literasi digital (digital literacy) yang dimiliki oleh guru akan berpangkal terhadap peningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di tengah perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang demikian pesatnya.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tingkat kesadaran masyarakat dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan masih dalam kategori rendah. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap masalah ini. Himbauan pemerintah untuk disiplin menerapkan protokol kesehatan harus didukung dengan sosialisasi dan edukasi yang intensif. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat Kampung Yobeh, Distrik Sentani, Kabupaten Jayapura, Provinsi Papua. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan memperkuat pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya membudayakan 4M; mengenakan masker, mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak dan menghindari kerumunan. Output kegiatan tersebut, pemerintah kampung merasa terbantukan dalam memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat untuk mencegah munculnya klaster baru Covid-19. Usai mengikuti kegiatan para peserta berkomiten untuk konsisten membudayakan prilaku hidup sehat sebagai bentuk upaya menjaga diri, keluarga dan orang sekitar.Abstract: Public awareness in implementing health protocols is still low. One of the contributing factors is the lack of public awareness on this problem. Appeal from the government for discipline in implementing health protocols must be supported by intensive socialization and education. This project target is the people of Yobeh Village, Sentani District, Jayapura Regency, Papua Province. The purpose of implementing this project is to increase awareness and strengthen public understanding of the importance of cultivating 4 habits; wear a mask, wash your hands, keep your distance and avoid crowds. The output of this project is that the village administration feels helped in providing education to the community to prevent the emergence of a new Covid-19 cluster. After participating on these project, the participants are expected to be committed to consistently cultivating healthy living habits as an effort to protect themselves, their families and those people around them.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini berjudul Sosialisasi Pengelolaan HHBK (Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu) bagi masyarakat di Perbatasan Papua Indonesia – Papua New Guinea. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberikan wawasan sekaligus pemahaman bagi masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan HHBK (Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu) di Papua. Secara spesifik, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Distrik Yaffi Kabupaten Kerom Provinsi Papua, dengan menggunakan metode Sosialisasi untuk penyebarluasan pengetahuan yang terkait dengan regulasi dan pengelolaan HHBK. Hasil Sosialisasi dan diskusi bersama masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keterbatasan informasi sehingga banyak warga yang tak mengetahui mengenai regulasi dan pengelolaan HHBK sehingga lembaga-lembaga dari tingkat kampung hingga distrik belum memiliki pemahaman mengenai HHBK. Kemudian pihak Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan (KPH) Provinsi Papua selaku fasilitator belum melakukan inventarisasi komoditas HHBK di wilayah Distrik Yaffi. Selanjutnya kelompok tani hutan di Distrik Yaffi belum terbentuk. Dengan adanya sosialisasi mengenai penguatan kapasitas dalam pengelolaan HHBK diharapkan, masyarakat maupun pemerintah distrik dapat mengakses program pengelolaan HHBK dan memanfaatkan komoditas hutan secara optimal guna memenuhi kebutuhan ekonominya secara otonom.

Abstract

Pelaksananaan sosialiasi yang bertajuk pengembangan "Badan Usaha Milik Kampung (BUMKam) Berbasis Potensi Lokal Di Kawasan Perbatasan Indonesia-Papua New Guinea (PNG)" dihadiri oleh Kepala distrik/camat Yaffi dan perangkatnya, Pemimpin adat (Ondoafi), tokoh pemuda, Tokoh agama, dan juga Kepala Desa dan anggota Badan Permusyawaratan Kampung (Bamuskam), serta masyarakat di Distrik Yaffi, Kabupaten Keerom, Kota Jayapura, Provinsi Papua. Pada Pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi, dipaparkan materi mengenai alur pendirian, landasan hukum dan regulasi, permodalan, manfaat dan jenis usaha BUMKam (Badan Usaha Milik Kampung) yang tepat untuk dijalankan berdasarkan potensi lokal daerah setempat. Setelah itu, dilakukan sesi tanya jawab (feedback) sehingga terungkap bahwa BUMKam belum terlalu eksis dikalangan masyarakat, konsep pembangunan desa yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah kampung masih terfokus pada pembangunan fisik saja. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat begitu juga kepada aparatur kampung bahwa kehadiran BUMKam akan menjadi suatu lembaga yang dapat mengangkat program prioritas kampung, potensi lokal serta kemajuan perekonomian kampung yang berpangkal terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal. Setelah mengikuti sosialiasi ini, peserta diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan yang dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan, baik dalam proses pendirian, maupun dalam pengelolaan BUMKam.

Abstract

Pada bulan September, 2020, Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa angkatan 2017 pada Program Studi Ilmu Administrasi Publik, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Universitas Cenderawasih. Kegiatan ini bertajuk “Membangun Kampung Berbasis Data” (Pendampingan Penyusunan Monografi dan Profil Kampung Yobeh Distrik Sentani Kabupaten Jayapura) melalui pendekatan “Partisipatif dan Edukatif”. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk fasilitasi dan implementasi Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 13 Tahun 2012 tentang Monografi Desa Dan Kelurahan serta Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 12 Tahun 2007 tentang Pedoman Penyusunan Dan Pendayagunaan Data Profil Desa Dan Kelurahan. Pada saat dilakukan survei lokasi terkuak bahwa Kampung Yobeh belum memiliki Profil dan Monografi sebagai sumber informasi potensi kampung. Mengingat pentingnya akurasi data dalam perencanaan agar pembuatan kebijakan pembangunan dapat tepat sasaran, dan selaras dengan kebutuhan masyarakat maka dinilai penting untuk dilakukan pendampingan sebagai bahagian dari pelaksanaan “Tri Dharma” Perguruan Tinggi, salah satunya adalah pengabdian kepada masyarakat..
