Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan dokumen perencanaan yang berisi tentang tujuan, isi, materi, dan pengalaman belajar yang harus dicapai oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan kurikulum merdeka tingkat sekolah dasar di Sekola Luar Biasa (SLB) Cinta Harapan Aikmel Utara dengan tujuan mengetahui proses penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif lapangan. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) perencanaan penerapan kurikulum merdeka dimulai dari sekolah mendaftar penerapan kurikulum merdeka melalui platform merdeka mengajar kemudian bapak/ibu guru mengikuti In House Training (IHT) dengan mengundang narasumber dari sekolah penggerak. 2) factor pendukung dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka belajar yaitu sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung proses belajar peserta didik. 3) faktor penghambat dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka belajar tenaga pendidik yang masih menggunakan mindset lama dan terkesan tidak memperhatikan perkembangan belajar siswa. 4) hasil/implikasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka di SLB Cinta Harapan Aikmel Utara yaitu sekolah dapat mengembangkan minat bakat siswa, sekolah dapat lebih fokus untuk menumbuhkan karakter profil pelajar pancasila (P3) melalui kegiatan P5

Abstract

Literacy skills possessed by children can affect social-emotional development, cognitive development and children's language development. To realize literacy skills in reading and writing, efforts must be made by the teacher council. In this case the researcher used descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and interviews, with data analysis techniques in the form of data triangulation. With the aim of knowing the efforts made by the teacher council in building literacy literacy, the results of the research are: Creating a Class Library or Reading Corner, to build or form a soul that loves reading and writing, madrasas make reading corners or class libraries in all classes, from class I to class VI. Habituation of Literacy in Reading and Writing Before the Learning Process, before starting the learning process, the teacher council before starting to enter the core material to be taught is required to first do literacy literacy. Abstract

This study aimed to improve junior high school students’ speaking ability through the Picture Series Technique in EFL classroom learning. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles involving 25 eighth-grade students. Data were collected through speaking tests, classroom observations, and field notes. The findings showed that the implementation of picture series significantly improved students’ speaking performance, particularly in fluency, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, fluency, comprehension and confidence. Students also demonstrated greater participation and motivation during classroom activities. The study concludes that the Picture Series Technique is an effective strategy for enhancing students’ speaking skills and creating a more interactive learning environment in junior high school EFL classrooms.
