Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of islamic mathematics learning module through guided inquiry approach in the setting set subject. This research method is Borg and Gall method that modified by Sugiyono. Stages performed only from stage 1 to stage 7 of potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, product trial, product revision. Based on the validation of material experts obtained the results of 80.83%, media experts obtained 88.89%, linguists obtained 80.95%, Islamic scholars obtained 76.67% thus developed products declared eligible for use. After validation of the product to the expert lecturer then the product is tested by educator in the field of mathematics study and the learner. Response educator in the field of mathematics study Obtained percentage of 85.49% with the criteria "Very Interesting", to determine the response of learners to the module developed conducted extensive trials to learners, with the results of the response learners show 89.01% percentage with criteria "Very Interesting ". The result of the assessment of the user response states that the module developed is very interesting and feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Media Islamic Math e-Comic is a mathematical comic with Islamic nuances that has mathematical problem solving with clear illustrations and problem-solving methods according to indicators that can improve students' mathematical communication skills. This study aims to determine how much the increase in mathematical communication skills in the use of Islamic Math e-Comic media on the subject of flat side space for class VIII. The media is developed through stages in the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This type of research is Quasy Experiment by giving pretest and posttest questions on small-scale tests and large-scale tests. Then, the effectiveness test of the use of Islamic Math e-Comic media was carried out using the Effect Size test, obtaining results of 0.53 with the "medium" criteria. This shows an increase in the value obtained by students after using the Islamic Math e-Comic media on the flat side space building material.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students High Order Thinking Skills through the application of the Group to Group Exchange learning model. The research method used is a quasi-experimental model with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group research design and a sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. The results showed that based on the research results obtained during the study, the average N-Gain Score for the experimental group using the Group to Group Exchange learning model was 59% with a minimum N-Gain Score of 51% and a maximum of 67%. While the average N-Gain Score control group with the Direct Instruction learning model is 39% with a minimum N-Gain Score of 34% and a maximum of 45%. This means that the Group to Group Exchange (GTGE) learning model is quite effective compared to the Direct Instruction (DI) learning model to improve students High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop digital mathematics comic media to improve students' mathematical representation and resilience skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) by adopting the DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate) model. The results of this development research are in the form of digital mathematics comic media on the material of lines and angles that can be accessed via gadgets online. The level of product validation is obtained from the assessment of the expert team, namely material validation 4.43 with the category "very valid" and media validation 4.76 with the category "very valid". Then the digital math comic media was declared effective in improving students' mathematical resilience abilities with an average N-Gain score of the experimental class of 0.44, better than the N-Gain score of the control class of 0.01. And the increase in students' mathematical representation abilities using digital math comic media with an average N-Gain of 0.49 was not greater than students who used conventional learning media with an average N-Gain of 0.38.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e- modul pembelajaran berbasis Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) yang berfikus pada peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. E- modul ini dirancang untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami serta melatih keterampilan dasar literasi numerasi sesuai dengan standar AKM yang dicanangkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Pengembangan e-modul ini menggunakan metode peelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi: (1) Analisis; (2) Desain; (3) Pembangunan; (4) Implementasi; dan (5) Evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari siswa kelas XI di SMAS Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, angket, dan tes kemampuan literasi numerasi yang dilakukan setelah penggunaan e- modul. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 85,42%, artinya e- modul AKM yang dikembangkan memiliki daya tarik bagi siswa. Kemudian pada hasil tes literasi numerasi menunjukkan rata-rata skor akhir 3,59 dengan persentase 90,32%, artinya siswa memiliki tingkat kemampuan literasi numerasi dengan kategori “Mahir”. Selain itu, hasil validasi ahli materi dan media menunjukkan bahwa e- modul ini layak digunakan dengan sedikit revisi.

Abstract

The aim of thiis research to determine students’ epistemological barriers to statistics materialin high school/MA mathematics learning courses. This research uses three indicators, namely conceptual, prosedur operational technical barriers. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection was carried out using test questions and interviews. There werw respondents in this study who werw second semester students of the UIN RIL mathematics education study program. In this research, data wasanalyzesby identifying answers from 39 respondents to indicators of epistemological barriers that had been worked on by students, then interviews werw conducted with 6 respondents. Results of this research show that students experience many errors in procedural and operational tecniques. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hambatan epistemological mahasiswa pada materi statistika di mata kuliah pembelajaran matematika SMA/MA. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga indikator, yaitu hambatan konseptual, prosedural dan teknik operasional. Penelitian ini merupakan peneilitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes soal dan wawancara. Terdapat 39 responden dalam penelitian ini yang merupakan mahasiswa semester 2 prodi pendidikan matematika UIN RIL. Dalam penelitian ini data dianalisis dengan cara identifikasi jawaban dari responden terhadap indikator hambatan epistemologi yang telah dikerjakan oleh mahasiswa, kemudian dilakukan wawancara kepada 6 responden.Hasil penelitian ini mahasiswa banyak mengalami kesalahan diprosedural dan teknik operasional.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of mathematical reasoning and concept understanding ability which is also one of the objectives of learning mathematics. The problem of this research is the low reasoning ability and understanding of mathematical concepts of students of SMPN 1 Jati Agung South Lampung, caused by learning models that tend to be passive and educator-centered. The objectives of this study are 1) Is there an Effect of MASTER Learning Model on Reasoning and Understanding of Mathematics Concepts in Students? 2) Is there an effect of MASTER Learning Model on Reasoning in Students? 3) Is there an effect of the MASTER Learning Model on students' concept understanding?. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 1 Jati Agung South Lampung. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling, two classes were selected, namely class VIII A with the MASTER model and VIII B with the conventional model. Data collection techniques used tests and non-tests. Prerequisite tests use normality and homogeneity tests, while hypothesis testing uses MANOVA. According to the results of the research data analysis, there is an effect of the MASTER model on students' mathematical reasoning and concept understanding, there is an effect of the MASTER model on students' reasoning, there is an effect of the MASTER model on students' concept understanding ability. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan pentingnya penalaran matematis dan Kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang juga merupakan salah satu tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Adapun permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya Kemampuan penalaran dan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik SMPN 1 Jati Agung Lampung Selatan, disebabkan karena model pembelajaran yang cenderung pasif dan berpusat pada pendidik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Apakah Terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran MASTER Terhadap Penalaran dan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Pada Peserta Didik ? 2) Apakah Terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran MASTER Terhadap Penalaran Pada Peserta Didik ? 3) Apakah Terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran MASTER Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Pada Peserta Didik ?. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Jati Agung Lampung Selatan.teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling, terpilih dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII A dengan model MASTER dan VIII B dengan model konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan MANOVA. Menurut hasil analisis data penelitian, terdapat pengaruh model MASTER terhadap penalaran dan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik, terdapat pengaruh model MASTER terhadap penalaran peserta didik, terdapat pengaruh model MASTER terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik

Abstract

Perancang tari sigeh penguten tidak menyadari telah menerapkan aktivitas matematika dan konsep matematika sebagai dasar terbentuknya keindahan tari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Apakah terdapat pengaruh Model VAK Berbasis Etnomatematika Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa dalam Tari Sigeh Pengunten, (2) Apakah terdapat pengaruh Model VAK Berbasis Etnomatematika Terhadap Representasi Matematis Siswa dalam Tari Sigeh Pengunten, dan (3) Apakah terdapat pengaruh Model VAK Berbasis Etnomatematika Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep dan Representasi Matematis siswa dalam Tari Sigeh Pengunten. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Uji yang digunakan adalah uji manova. Sebelum dilakukan uji manova terlebih dulu gunakan uji homogenitas dan uji normalitas. Berdasarkan penelitian maka dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK berbasis etnomatematika dalam tari sigeh pengunten terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis, (2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK berbasis etnomatematika dalam tari sigeh pengunten terhadap representasi matematis, dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran VAK berbasis etnomatematika dalam tari sigeh pengunten terhadap pemahaman konsep dan representasi matematis peserta didik secara simultan.
