Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem at SMAN 1 Cihaurbeuti, namely the low critical thinking skills of students. The method used is an experimental method with a Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Powtoon animation videos. The research design uses a non-equivalent control group design, data collection techniques through description tests. The population in this study was all class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Cihaurbeuti, totaling 164 students. The samples used were class XI IPS 2, totaling 34 students as the Experiment class and class XI IPS 3, totaling 35 students as the Control class. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Powtoon animated video media in improving students' critical thinking skills in the economics subject of international trade concepts.

Abstract

The problem in this research is related to the financial management of housewives after the Covid-19 pandemic, which experienced ups and downs, as well as their efforts to create a prosperous family. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the financial management of housewives after the Covid-19 pandemic in creating family prosperity in Babakan Hamlet, Panumbangan Village, Ciamis Regency. The method used in this research is a case study method in a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique goes through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification. The research subjects who were used as informants were 7 people consisting of 3 housewives as key informants and the remaining 4 people including 3 husbands and the village head as supporting informants. From the research results, it was found that housewives' financial management after the Covid-19 pandemic had different results, including good, quite good, to poor financial management. To achieve family welfare for 3 housewives in Babakan Hamlet, there are different categories where the results show that they fall into Prosperous Family Stage I, Prosperous Family Stage III, and Prosperous Family Stage III Plus.

Abstract

This reseacrh was motivated by the idea that university students should ideally understand financial literacy, which can positively impact their financial management behavior. Healthy financial management behavior can be seen in activities related to financial planning, management, and effective financial control. Student lifestyles also influence their financial management behavior. Lifestyle is defined as an individual’s way of life, encompassing consumption habits, spending priorities, and interests. This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy and lifestyle on students' financial management behavior. The research uses a quantitative method with an inferential approach. Data collection was conducted thgough surveys. The population of this research consistes of students from the 2021 Economics Education Program at Siliwangii University, with a saturated sampling technique resulting in a sample size of 106 respondents. The findings indicate a positive and significant effect, supported by simultaneous testing showing t calculated > t Table 18.521 > 3.08. This indicates that both financial literacy and lifestyle significantly influence the financial management behaviors of students. Consequently, it can be concluded that financial literacy and lifestyle can enhance the financial management behaviors of university students.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini bagaimana pengaruh motivasi dan minat belajar terhadap presatasi belajar, tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan minat belajar terhadap perestasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan kuantitatif survey. Desain penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain survei explanatory dan teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dan eksperimen yang memerlukan data statistik. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sebanyak 105 orang siswa menggunakan teknik sampel acak sederhana. koefisien determinasi pada nilai R Square sebesar 0,840 yang artinya presentasi sumbangan pengaruh variabel minat dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 84%. Dan hasil dari penelitian adalah motivasi dan minat belajar berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya. Siswa diharapkan memiliki motivasi dan minat yang tinggi untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar guna meningkatkan kualitas diri untuk dapat bersaingan dengan orang lain. Selain itu siswa diharapkan sudah mulai mencari tahu keinginan dan bakatnya dengan sebaik mungkin, supaya dapat menentukan ke arah mana akan masa depan yang akan dicapai

Abstract

Students face various academic challenges, such as difficulties in understanding the material, exam pressure, and the transition from online to offline learning, which can hinder academic achievement. This study aims to identify the relationship between adversity quotient and learning motivation on students' academic achievement. The research method used is quantitative with an explanatory survey design. The population in this study consists of students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Siliwangi University, class of 2020, with a sample of 305 students selected using a random sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire, and data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank correlation. The results indicate that both adversity quotient and learning motivation have a positive and significant relationship with academic achievement. This study provides practical implications for the development of educational programs aimed at enhancing adversity intelligence and learning motivation to support students' academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and parental support on learning motivation and its implications for learning outcomes in class X economics subjects at SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya. This study uses a survey research method with a quantitative approach, the sampling technique uses probability sampling by means of simple random sampling with a total of 208 people. The results of research using Path Analysis show that there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on learning motivation, there is a significant influence between parental support on learning motivation, there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between parental support on learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between learning motivation on learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on learning outcomes through learning motivation and there is a significant influence between parental support on learning outcomes through learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of peer environment and self-efficacy on students' learning outcomes in economics. The research method used is a survey with an explanatory design. The population of this study consists of 118 eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 6 in Tasikmalaya who are enrolled in economics. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected using questionnaires, and the data analysis technique applied is multiple linear regression. The results show that there is a positive and significant influence of the peer environment on learning outcomes; a positive and significant influence of self-efficacy on learning outcomes; and a positive and significant influence of both learning motivation and peer conformity on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self efficacy, learning style, and metacognitive awareness on critical thinking skills in economic subjects. The research method used is a survey method with an associative research design. The population in this study were grade XI students at SMA Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya City who took economics subjects totaling 116 people. Sampling using saturated samples. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence between self efficacy on critical thinking ability; there is a positive and significant influence between learning styles on critical thinking ability; there is a positive and significant influence between metacognitive awareness on critical thinking ability; and there is a positive and significant influence between self efficacy, learning styles and metacognitive awareness on critical thinking ability.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu tingginya kecurangan akademik yang seringkali terjadi di lingkungan mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kecurangan akademik mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan ekonomi Angkatan 2022. Pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga diperoleh 101 responden. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 5 faktor yang mempengaruhi kecurangan akademik yaitu factor tekanan dengan persentase 15,164%, factor peluang dengan persentase 14,137%, factor rasional dengan persentase 14,016%, factor kapabilitas dengan persentase 13,612%, serta factor arogan dengan persentase 11,047% .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational activeness on learning motivation and its implications for learning achievement. The research method used is survey method with explanatory design. The population in this study were students who were members of student councils in public high schools in Tasikmalaya City, totaling 204 students. The sampling technique used random sampling. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire and the analysis technique used was path analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between organizational activeness on learning motivation, there was a positive and significant influence between organizational activeness on learning achievement, and there was a positive and significant influence between organizational activeness on learning achievement through learning motivation.
