Abstract

Air digunakan untuk memenuhi kelangsungan hidup manusia untuk aktivitas harian seperti mencuci, menyiram tanaman, mandi, dan kakus. Peran air tanah yakni sebesar 70% dimanfaatkan sebagai air bersih oleh penduduk Indonesia. PDAM Tirta Buana Bojonegoro merupakan sarana penyedia air bersih yang menyalurkan ke beberapa daerah khususnya di bagian Bojonegoro. Berdasarkan survey data hasil laboratorium pada tahun 2021 diketahui kualitas air untuk salah satu parameter fisik yaitu TDS nilainya tinggi melebihi baku mutu karena disebabkan adanya kerusakan, sehingga air menjadi kurang layak. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas kinerja dari Instalasi Pengolahan Air (IPA) Bojonegoro dalam menyediakan air bersih yang layak konsumsi bagi masyarakat. Pengambilan sampel air menggunakan metode grab sampling. Perolehan data penelitian dilakukan dengan mendapatkan data pengujian kualitas air bersih dari 2 titik bagian inlet dan outlet sebanyak 500ml botol sampel kaca. Berdasarkan hasil uji lab parameter TDS dengan nilai 364 Mg/L ini tidak memenuhi baku mutu menurut Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan RI No. 2 Tahun 2023 tentang Hiegiene dan Sanitasi, hal ini sesuai dengan kondisi fisik lokasi penelitian bahwa sumber air baku berdekatan dengan area pertanian yang menyebabkan endapan lumpur terbawa air hujan. Parameter kekeruhan dengan hasil 3,53 NTU masih melebihi standar. Parameter warna dengan hasil 10 TCU. Sedangkan  hasil uji air olahan parameter TDS 182 Mg/L, parameter kekeruhan 2,24 NTU, dan parameter warna 0 TCU. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan efektivitas kinerja unit pengolahan menunjukkan parameter TDS sebesar 50,00%, parameter kekeruhan sebesar 36,55%, dan parameter warna sebesar 100%.

Abstract

Jelu Village in Bojonegoro Regency has great agricultural potential but faces challenges in managing organic waste and providing quality animal feed. The Thematic KKN Program Group 04 of Bojonegoro University (KKN-TK 04 Unigoro) designed training and mentoring activities on maggot cultivation (Black Soldier Fly Larvae) to address these issues. This community service activity aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the training and mentoring in improving residents' knowledge and skills in maggot cultivation, as well as its impact on the production of organic fertilizer and animal feed. The methods used include preparation, socialization, technical training, and implementation mentoring. The results of the community service showed a significant increase in the residents' understanding and skills regarding maggot cultivation. The community also learned that adult maggot larvae can be used as a source of high-quality animal feed. In addition, this program successfully increased residents' awareness of the importance of sustainable organic waste management.

Abstract

Kegiatan usaha migas (minyak dan gas) mencakup serangkaian kegiatan yang terkait dengan eksplorasi, produksi, pengolahan, dan distribusi minyak dan gas bumi. Kegiatan tersebut menghasilkan limbah cair. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengolahan limbah cair hasil kegiatan pengeboran minyak dan gas bumi (migas) di lokasi sumur eksploitasi PT. X. Limbah cair pengeboran, yang termasuk dalam kategori Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun (B3), dihasilkan dari penggunaan lumpur bor yang terkontaminasi bahan kimia. Jika tidak dikelola dengan baik, limbah ini berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. PT. X menggunakan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) untuk mengolah limbah tersebut, dengan tujuan memurnikan dan memastikan air hasil pengolahan sesuai baku mutu air limbah berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup Nomor 19 Tahun 2010. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara, pengujian parameter suhu, pH, dan TDS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa air hasil pengolahan memiliki parameter yang memenuhi ambang batas baku mutu air, dengan suhu 35,8°C (<40°C), pH 7 (6-9), dan TDS 3430 mg/L (<4000 mg/L), sehingga aman untuk dimanfaatkan kembali.

Abstract

Air lindi merupakan salah satu limbah cair utama dari Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) yang memiliki kandungan organik, amonia, logam berat, serta senyawa berbahaya lain yang dapat mencemari lingkungan apabila tidak diolah dengan baik. Pencemaran akibat air lindi dapat menurunkan kualitas air tanah dan permukaan, sehingga diperlukan teknologi pengolahan sederhana, efektif, dan berkelanjutan. Filtrasi dengan media alami seperti pasir, zeolit, dan karbon aktif menjadi alternatif yang potensial karena sifatnya yang mudah diperoleh, ramah lingkungan, dan memiliki kemampuan tinggi dalam menurunkan kandungan pencemar. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui rancangan sistem filtrasi bertingkat, dimulai dari penyaringan awal dengan pasir untuk mengurangi kekeruhan, dilanjutkan dengan media zeolit untuk menyerap amonia dan ion logam, serta karbon aktif untuk menurunkan kandungan organik terlarut. Analisis kualitas air dilakukan pada parameter pH, BOD, COD, TSS, amonia, nitrat, fosfat, dan logam berat sebelum serta sesudah filtrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem filtrasi bertingkat mampu menurunkan kekeruhan hingga 85%, BOD dan COD lebih dari 70%, serta konsentrasi amonia dan logam berat hingga mendekati baku mutu lingkungan. Karbon aktif terbukti paling efektif dalam menurunkan senyawa organik, sedangkan zeolit berperan besar dalam mengurangi amonia. Kombinasi media filtrasi pasir, zeolit, dan karbon aktif efektif digunakan dalam pengolahan air lindi, sehingga dapat menjadi solusi pengolahan sederhana dan berkelanjutan untuk mengurangi risiko pencemaran lingkungan.

Abstract

Oil and gas business activities include a series of activities related to the exploration, production, processing, and distribution of oil and gas. The oil and gas industry is one of the high-risk and dangerous sectors. Therefore, occupational safety management is very important for companies to prevent accidents in the workplace. The purpose of this study is to find out the application of the use of workers' personal protective equipment required by the company and to find out the company's efforts in increasing the mandatory application of personal protective equipment. This research was conducted at PT. X in the field of oil and gas exploration and production. The data collection method was carried out by interviews and document studies. The sampling technique of this study was carried out with certain considerations or purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 24 individuals, including 3 field supervisors with the position of driller, and 21 field workers with the positions of derrickman, floorman, and mechanic. The analysis method used is Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the analysis are shown by the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) diagram which has 4 quadrants. The variables of comfort and effectiveness are included in quadrant A (top priority), while the variables of flexibility, durability, satisfaction, and awareness are included in quadrant B (maintain), the prudent and clean variables are included in quadrant C (low priority), and there are no variables categorized as quadrant D (ignore). The company's efforts as part of increasing the mandatory implementation of personal protective equipment are through the implementation of safety introductions, safety briefings, as well as by installing posters and safety signs in the work environment

Abstract

Abstract Hospital wastewater contains pathogenic microorganisms, toxic chemicals, and radioactive substances harmful to health and the environment. Hospital X is a type C hospital with a land area of 10,022 m², a building area of 44,898 m², and 173 beds, generating wastewater with parameters such as TSS, BOD5, COD, ammonia, phosphate, and E. coli. Based on January 2024 testing results at the outlet of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), three parameters approached the quality limits set by the East Java Governor Regulation No. 72 of 2013. This condition is due to the WWTP’s long years of operation and new building construction that increased the treatment load. This study aims to identify the characteristics of wastewater and treated water, and to analyze the effectiveness of Hospital X’s WWTP in managing wastewater to be safe for the community and environment. Samples were taken by grab sampling at the inlet and outlet with a volume of 2000 mL. Laboratory results showed ammonia (0.22 mg/L) and phosphate (2.922 mg/L) exceeded quality standards due to insufficient aeration time, causing low dissolved oxygen and inhibiting microorganisms from decomposing NH3 and PO4. The E. coli level (350 MPN/100 mL) met quality standards. Effectiveness calculations showed a significant 96.23% reduction in E. coli, indicating successful disinfection. However, ammonia reduction was only 45.89% and still exceeded limits, while phosphate increased with an effectiveness of -6.22%, indicating phosphate treatment failure. These results highlight the need to optimize aeration and phosphate treatment in Hospital X’s WWTP.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Lansia di Desa Kawengan menghadapi risiko tinggi terhadap penyakit hipertensi, namun masih rendah kesadaran mengenai pencegahan dan penanganannya. Analisis situasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar lansia tidak memahami faktor risiko hipertensi, belum melakukan pemeriksaan tekanan darah secara rutin, serta minimnya edukasi kesehatan secara langsung. Mitra kegiatan, yakni pihak desa, Puskesmas, dan kader kesehatan, menghadapi kendala dalam menjangkau lansia secara sistematis karena keterbatasan sumber daya dan akses informasi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman lansia terhadap hipertensi melalui pendekatan edukatif yang terpadu. Manfaat kegiatan diharapkan mampu mendorong perilaku hidup sehat dan meningkatkan deteksi dini hipertensi di kalangan lansia. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi koordinasi dengan mitra, sosialisasi melalui ceramah dan diskusi interaktif, pembagian leaflet, serta pemeriksaan tekanan darah oleh tim Puskesmas dan kader kesehatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman lansia tentang hipertensi, ditandai dengan adanya presentase kenaikan pretest dan posttest sebesar 91,43%. Selain itu, 95% peserta menyatakan siap untuk memeriksakan tekanan darah secara berkala dan mulai menerapkan pola hidup sehat. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi terpadu yang melibatkan perguruan tinggi, Puskesmas, dan kader kesehatan efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran lansia terhadap hipertensi serta memperkuat kolaborasi lintas sektor dalam upaya promotif dan preventif.   ABSTRACT Elderly people in Kawengan Village face a high risk of hypertension, yet awareness regarding its prevention and management remains low. A situation analysis shows that most elderly people do not understand the risk factors for hypertension, do not undergo regular blood pressure checks, and receive minimal direct health education. The activity partners, namely the village, community health center, and health cadres, face obstacles in reaching the elderly systematically due to limited resources and access to information. The objective of this activity is to increase elderly awareness and understanding of hypertension through an integrated educational approach. The benefits of this activity are expected to encourage healthy lifestyles and improve early detection of hypertension among the elderly. Implementation methods include coordination with partners, outreach through lectures and interactive discussions, distribution of leaflets, and blood pressure checks by the community health center team and health cadres. The results of the activity showed an increase in elderly understanding of hypertension, indicated by a 42% increase in post-test scores compared to the pre-test. In addition, 85% of participants stated their readiness to have their blood pressure checked regularly and to begin adopting a healthy lifestyle. The conclusion of this activity shows that integrated socialization involving universities, community health centers, and health cadres is effective in increasing elderly awareness of hypertension and strengthening cross-sector collaboration in promotive and preventive efforts.
