Abstract

House of Pet is an animal clinic that has several services for animals including grooming, pet hotels, animal inspection and selling goods at petshop. During this time the House of Pet in its business processes using paper and Microsoft Excel to write veterinary medical record data and data related to the recapitulation of transactions in the clinic. This raises the problem, first the difficulty of tracking the medical records of animals that come to the clinic and second to know the recapitulation of transactions so far, you need to look at each of the patient's medical record. This is very inefficient because there are quite a lot of visitors every month. Therefore, this research developed a web-based medical recordinformation system and transaction recapitulation that can facilitate the House of Pet clinic to store, change and track data related to animal medical records and transaction recapitulation. This research was developed by the waterfall method and implemented using the PHP programming language and codeigniter for its framework and MySQL for database processing. This system is tested using a unit test with the results of 100% valid test paths, integration testing of 100% valid paths, validation testing of 53 test cases 100% valid and compatibility testing with system results can be run in several browsers.

Abstract

Nutrition is an important component in the formation of various important elements in the human body such as tissue development, reproduction and the formation of energy for metabolism. Healthy and balanced nutrition can be obtained by visiting hospitals and clinics that provide nutrition poly services. Nutrition poly is a service that aims to serve patients to obtain healthy and optimal nutrition. Services in nutrition poly include recording a nutrition data, designing food menus, monitoring of evaluation result and nutrition consultation. Nutritional data recording services and food menu design are carried out conventionally so that access to patient nutrition data is limited and there is no mechanism for a schedule reminder to return to nutrition poly or meal schedules. This problem can be solved by developing a mobile-based nutrition information system that can be used by nutritionists in recording nutritional data and for patients in monitoring nutritional development. The system was developed with the waterfall methodology and uses technology in the form of the use of the Kotlin programming language to develop mobile applications with the Android operating system. This research stage begins with a system requirements analysis that results in 44 system functional requirements. After the requirements analysis is carried out, the next step is to carry out the design and implementation process of the system. After the design and implementation have been carried out, the next stage is testing which includes unit testing, integration testing and system testing. The results of the system testing that have been carried out produce a valid status with a value of 100%, namely the system developed in accordance with the design results.

Abstract

Elecomp Software house is a software development company in the city of Malang. Elecomp Software house accepts the creation of applications in the form of websites and mobile. In carrying out its daily activities, elecomp software house encountered several problems. These problems include the lack of integration of hosting account and domain data used in client-owned projects that are being worked on, domain payment reminder according to the time request from each client one by one, monitoring project progress that is still need manual work as well as revision of the project from the client and progress reporting that take a long time. The purpose of this research is to build a system that can integrate hosting account, domain and project data, remind domain payments to clients automatically, facilitate the distribution of resources and monitoring in project work, and can facilitate clients in monitoring and revising their projects. . This research was carried out using SDCL Waterfall as the method, and OOP or object-oriented programming as the design and programming method. After the system is finished, testing is done. There are three tests, unit tests on three methods that produce a total of 19 test cases, the test results are 100% passed. Integration testing resulted in 2 test cases, the results were 100% passed. Validation testing tests 78 functionalities and produces 115 test cases, the results are 100% valid.

Abstract

The laboratory is a place to do practice or research. Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FMIPA UB) has 8 laboratories that are used as supporting facilities in the implementation of learning and practicum. Students or lecturers can use laboratory facilities for research by applying for permission to use laboratory facilities according to existing procedures. The problem with current procedures is that researchers must visit each laboratory to obtain laboratory availability information or request permission to use the laboratory. This process is less effective because it takes a lot of time. In addition, recording each research activity still uses paper form so it is difficult to recap the data. To solve this problem, a laboratory facility management system was created. This system can simplify the process of applying for research permits, managing facilities, and recording the use of laboratory facilities. The main stages of system development in this study consist of requirements engineering, modeling, implementation, and testing. System development is carried out using an object-oriented approach. The results of requirements engineering obtained 69 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. In the implementation, the system is developed on a web platform using the model-view-controller (MVC) concept with the Laravel framework. At the testing stage, the results are 100% valid on unit testing, integration, and validation. The results of the compatibility test show that the system can run well on various browsers.

Abstract

Public Library visitors in the Jakarta area are less than 500 thousand visitors per year based on data from the Jakarta Open Data, even though the population in the city of Jakarta has less than 10 million inhabitants. When compared to the National Library of Singapore which had 26 million visitors in 2017 based on data from the National Library of Singapore website, the number of visitors to the Jakarta Regional Public Library is very small. This does not mean that Indonesians are not interested in reading. Indonesians who are interested in reading books using digital books, even 500 people line up to borrow a digital or electronic book at the National Library of Indonesia. Due to the above problems, an iOS-based application was created for the process of reading books with features that support reading books. In research that uses Google's cloud artificial intelligence to listen to books in the application, Forums for users to discuss books to be discussed and Challenge to test their knowledge of books they have read. The result of developing an application based on iOS 24 needs. Researchers conducted white-box testing using unit testing and integration which produced a value of 100% and black-box testing using validation testing which resulted in a value of 100%. From the test results it can be interpreted that the application works in accordance with defined needs.

Abstract

Rakki Pet Clinic and UB Pet Clinic are two of many clinics located in malang. Some of their services are clinic, grooming, pet shop, and pet hotel. In a month, their patient can reach 350 to 500 patients. With this range of patients, Rakki Pet Clinic and UB Pet Clinic are still documenting their business processes manually, starting from patient registration, medical records, to recap of personnel activities. The manual documentation process will complicate the service process and will cause problems, for example in the search for scattered medical records, errors in writing medical records, patient registration, doctor appointments, and recap of personnel activities that do not match digitally recorded data. This can be detrimental to the time, effort, health and finances of all parts involved, from the animal itself, the owner of the animal, the owner of the clinic, to the paramedics. System development that utilizes web-based technology is a solution to these problems. This study aims to determine the system requirements, system design, and implementation of a web-based veterinary clinical management system developed using the waterfall method. The results of the needs analysis in this study obtained 50 functional systems and 5 actors who will be directly related to the system. Systems are tested using unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and compatibility. All test results obtained are 100% valid, indicating the system is able to run as expected

Abstract

Software project management is very important to the success of a software project. KS is a company that specializes in developing software projects. The main problem that happens with Karya Studio concerning software project management is that project managers often have difficulty monitoring the progress of tasks that are carried out by programmers. The cause of this problem is the lack of a system that records the progress of tasks that the programmer is doing. All progress reports from the programmers are stacked in one report in the group chat. Another issue is that the client cannot directly monitor the progress of the project and therefore cannot provide early feedback if there is a work error in the project. A software project management system was built to solve these problems. It is expected that with this system, a software project can be managed in one platform so that coordination between Karya Studio team members and clients can be carried out in a more structured and systematic manner. This system is developed using a waterfall model software development life cycle. The phases of this study include literature review, requirements engineering, system design, implementation and testing. This system is developed on a web platform using the single page application (SPA) concept. This system has been tested using unit tests, integration tests, validation tests, and compatibility tests.

Abstract

In the recruitment process at the University of Brawijaya's Career and Entrepreneurship Development Unit (UPKK UB), information on job vacancies from companies can only be accessed on the web page UPKK UB. This results in a lack of spread of information obtained by applicants looking for work. Vacancies in a company are sometimes not properly announced. Thus, applicants who have competencies according to the needs of the position cannot get information easily. With the use of technology web semantics in the job vacancy information system being developed, information spread can be done easily. Web semantics used because web semantics has advantages in data openness. Information owned by a system can be used or shared by other systems. In addition to the advantages of web semantic in data integration, with web semantic computers it is possible to search, combine, and process content web based on meanings understood by humans. The development method used in this system is the waterfall method. This system has been tested using unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing. Based on the tests carried out, the system gets 100% valid results in unit, integration, and validation tests. The system also gets 100% valid results in compatibility testing because it is able to run well in the browser environment under test.

Abstract

Management of book and sales are important for a bookstore. The problems that occur in the Literasi Nusantara bookstore are publishers who want to cooperate with the bookstores want them to have their own sales website and problems related to the bookstore's inventory management and sales that are still recorded manually. Publishers who want to cooperate with bookstores want to check about books sold by Literasi Nusantara through their own website. The process of managing book inventory and sales is still manual, causing the book and sales management processes to take a long time. Hopefully, this system can help the process of cooperation between the bookstore and publishers and help improve the efficiency of their sales management time. The waterfall software development model is used in the development process of this system. The stages performed in this research are literature study, requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing, and drawing conclusions and suggestions. This system uses website technology so that the bookstore system can be accessed by users via a web browser. The bookstore system has been tested using unit testing and integration testing (white box testing) as well as validation testing and compatibility testing (black box testing).
