Abstract

Dinas Kesehatan Kota XYZ is the implementing element of health sector in XYZ City Government led by a Head of Service responsibles to the Regional Secretary. One of the duties of Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) is to provide services for Health Workers who work in its administrative region. In the application for a work or practice permit process, Health Workers may go to the Dinkes office more than one time just to fullfill the requirement files, because the application will not be handled if it is not appropriate. Meanwhile, from the Dinkes side, the handling of the application will be impeded if the authorized officers are not in place because the printed file submitted by the Health Workers must be checked directly. Based on these conditions, an information system developed for the application of work and practice permits that can be used by Health Workers and Dinas Kesehatan Kota XYZ to apply and handle the submitted applications. This information system also provides the Health Workers to know the stages of handling that is being done by Dinkes officer, so that information related to work permit can be more transparent. In this study, V-Model was chosen as the software development method used during development. Furthermore, the results of the implementation of the functions are tested using responsiveness testing, compatibility testing and user acceptance testing.

Abstract

Legundi village is located in Kecamatan Karangjati Kabupaten Ngawi East Java. In Legundi government case, public service such as Certificate document administration is still has a lot of troubles and to apply for a Certificate document the applicant must come to the village office. To finish the problem is needed an instrument information system that resolve the certificate and others documents. This research done to know the development of Sistem Informasi Pelayanan Surat Keterangan can be run. To solve the problem it has to do the business process modeling, requirements analysis, design and implementation of information service system certificate by applying an object-oriented approach. After that the implementation of the system will be tested to find does the system can run as the requirements that have been identified. Business process modeling activities produce the As-Is business process model and To-Be business process model, the requirements analysis yields identification of system requirements, as well as visualization of system capabilities in use case diagrams. The result of system design constitutes the documentation of object interaction model into sequence diagram, object model in class diagram, database design, interface design and pseudocode. The result of the implementation constitutes a web-based of Sistem Informasi Pelayanan Surat Keterangan tested and shows the results that the system can run in accordance with the requirement that has been identified previously.

Abstract

Development process of a software in organization that is in the Information Technology industry will be a determining the success of these organization. PT. ABC is an Information Technology organization that is famous among government. Some of the products that produced by PT. ABC is used in educational world. The best processes of project management are needed for supporting the progress in educational world. Project at PT.ABC had some problems in its implementation. The purpose of this research is to assess the software development maturity level in the Product Development Division of PT. ABC started from the basic project management process using the CMMI for Development 1.3 framework. The result of this research is an actual maturity level of PT. ABC. This research will give improvement recommendations to achieve a higher maturity level based on the CMMI for Development 1.3 framework. The data used in this research were collected using questionnaires and document tracking. The process of appraisal using Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) class C. The process areas evaluated in this research are 6 process area which is at maturity level 2. Based on the assessment, from 6 process areas evaluated, there has been no area process that are comply CMMI criteria. From overall of the result, PT. ABC is still at maturity level 1 or initial. Recommendations provided by researchers are expected to help PT. ABC to making improvements according to the CMMI for Development 1.3 framework.

Abstract

Trivia Nusantara is a business in advertising and retail of office stationery. After doing an observation, there is a problem in ordering products process. Which lack of information system support causes the process of ordering products to be longer and takes a lot of cost in communication. Growth of technology impact on the increasingly business competition, this trigger PT. Trivia Nusantara to build an information system in order to support the company's operations. Due to PT. Trivia Nusantara also does not have an IT expert so the company's leader plans to build an information system by working with vendors. Based on the concept of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) the initial thing required is a documented requirements analysis and system design. Analysis and design performed using Ripple methodology in the initial 4 phases. Genesis phase and requirement phase used to requirements analysis. While the system design in the analysis phase and design phase. The importance of evaluating the requirements in this study using 2 evaluation, consistency analysis and correctness. In consistency analysis method proved have a 100% percentage value consistent. And the correctness test proving that system requirements with system design is include in correctness category.

Abstract

Narcotics National Agency (BNN Kota Malang) is government vertical agencies whose have role in prevention, eradication of Illicit Drug Abuse is doing their job under the responsibility of the local Government of Malang City. the Rehabilitation Section's duty is recovering drug users, Rehabilitation Section storing data using paper forms. The problem is that a growing number of patient data, which stored with the conventional ways so the data search becomes longer and reduce the productivity of the employees so that the maintenance of the data becomes more complex and increase the risk of losing the physical data Information systems proven can reduce the time thus increasing productivity and effectiveness. The success of information system development depends on proper development method, the stakeholder's needs are unclear yet and the system should be able to adapt to the needs of the organization while developed are the reason we use a strategy of Incremental Iteration. This research will report the implementation of the strategy as well as other important roles, among others is the proper requirements analysis, design and the appropriate testing methods which can be measured with the real problems which result 10 functional requirements and 2 nonfunctional requirements in requirement analysis, 10 class (analysis), 9 table, 4 model, and 6 controller in design phase, 3 test case succeed in testing phase.

Abstract

Computer Science Faculty of Brawijaya University has a reading room that provides a collection of books and various research reports used by students to learn, looking for information and references related to subjects, thesis final assignment, and some other research. The reading room has been using information systems by utilizing desktop-based information systems to serve lending and return service activities. Currently to access the information system and library services is still offline, so in the process of borrowing books, students must come to the reading room, there is no information related to the amount of availability in each book, the absence of management of fines, so that the reading room staff have difficulty in managing borrowing and return of books. So this research is done by developing a library management information system that can overcome the problem of borrowing, returns, management of mulct, and to seek information online. This research using waterfall model method in information system development that will be built and using Unified Modeling Langueage (UML) to make it easier to understand the design of the built software. Based on problem analysis resulting on 13 features system, 28 functional requirements, and 1 non-functional requirement provides an overview of the capabilities that can be done by the library management information system. The result of validation testing, the system can run well and declared valid. The results of UAT show that 100% system can be received from the side of the reading room staff and students and the results of compatibility testing, there is a critical issue that appear due to ssl or https feature is not enabled

Abstract

In daily life, people in Malang often travel from one place to another by considering the efficiency of travel time. Lowokwaru is one of the densely populated sub-districts in Malang City. Therefore, traffic jam often occurs frequently at certain time. Path searching is one of the solutions in handling traffic jam at certain time in Malang. This research uses the Voronoi-Based Continuous K Nearest Neighbor (VCKNN), Progressive Incremental Network Expansion (PINE), Voronoi-Based Network Nearest Neighbor (VN3) algorithms. Every algorithm has different calculation steps and data models, it affects the computing time of every algorithm that affects the response time of the system. In the VCKNN, PINE and VN3 algorithms, the route searching process is divided into two stages, the first stage is searching for the voronoi neighbor to filter the data based on the voronoi polygon, after that, it searches the route on the voronoi polygon. This research was conducted to find out the response time, the number of passed node and the relationship between response time and the number of passed node, so the most efficient algorithm in the problem of route searching was known. From this research it was known that the algorithm with the fastest response time was VCKNN algorithm with 0.071 seconds response time and the algorithm with the lowest number of passed node was PINE algorithm with the number of nodes passed by 17 nodes. From the results of the research, the most efficient algorithm in determining the optimum route was the VCKNN algorithm.

Abstract

Lembaga Bimbingan Belajar (LBB) Al-Hasyimi is a private educational institution that providing study guidance in reading the Holy Koran and Iqro' both by private and by group. In managing student's study result, LBB Al-Hasyimi still uses a conventional method. Every mentor has to note their student's study result in the book which called by “Buku Prestasi Siswa”. Then this book would be recapped by secretary once in every month. In the other hand, the mentor had to do checking presence after guiding too. By using information technology, the problem can be simplified by using Lembaga Bimbingan Belajar Al-Hasyimi Information System based on website which developed by using waterfall method. This development method covered requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing. On the requirement analysis produced business process to-be that created based on the result of stakeholder interview and problem analysis. The result of the requirement analysis visualized in use case diagram. The result of the system design produced sequence diagram, class diagram, physical data model, pseudocode algorithm, user interface, and testing design. On its implementation, this system developed by using CodeIgniter framework by applying the Model-View-Controller pattern. The result of Validation Testing on 6 test case got as many as 100% valid. Then the result of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on some features, there are adding a study result, seeing a study result, seeing a tentor absence, and complaining got average percentage more than 80%. With the result of UAT revealed that Lembaga Bimbingan Belajar Al-Hasyimi Information System already accepted by user.

Abstract

The local government website of West Sumbawa Regency is a media owned by government of West Sumbawa Regency to support the information disclosure to the public. But in its implementation, the website has some perceived weakness of its users. This study discusses how the assessment of the website quality based on the point of view of the user, especially the local people. Website quality evaluation can be done using 6 dimensions and 47 attributes of e-Govqual and perform SWOT Analysis to develop strategy recommendations. This study uses quantitative data obtained through questionnaires and qualitative data from interview activities. Questionnaires were conducted on 104 respondents with incidental sampling techniques and interviews were conducted on 2 interviewees from website administrator and 2 interviewees from website user or local people. The result showed that the highest level on Content and Appearance of Information belongs to high category (75.14%), then followed by Ease of Use belongs to high category (74.5%), Reliability belongs to high category (73.04%), Functionality and Interaction belongs to high category (72.4%), Trust belongs to high category (70.94%) and Citizen Support belongs to high category (70.26%). Strategy recommendations that can be formulated based on SWOT Analysis is to improve the technical issues on the website.

Abstract

The use of Lecturer Information System (SIADO) has been so maximized because some users of lecturers have different perspectives on SIADO, such as SIADO's system quality which still get some complaints from users in 2016 and there has been no decision letter from the Rector of mandating the use of SIADO. This study aims to describe how the factors studied on SIADO user acceptance on five variables, namely user characteristics, system quality, top management & IT support, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use using descriptive statistical analysis. Data collection techniques using questionnaires that are distributed offline using paper and designed as attractive as possible, the population in the study is a lecturer in UB with 96 samples used. Data from respondents who have been collected through questionnaires processed by seeing whether the data is valid and reliable. After that descriptive statistical analysis is done to know the level of categories owned on each variable that can provide data information based on centralization and dissemination of data, so that obtained average to be categorized. The results show that the five variables get high category on SIADO acceptance, which indicates the user perceives all the good variables to be used as a consideration tool in receiving the system.
