Abstract

In this study, the researcher observed thatteachersin MTsN 7 Aceh Besar do not use a special method andinterestingmeans in teaching Arabic, but rather fixate on the memorization of textsand listen to the students’ memorization in class. Therefore, students find it difficult to learn Arabic and eventually find the lesson a burden. They can not express their ideas directly and end up with losing interest in the study. They lack enthusiasm and have no strong motivation to enrich and apply the vocabulary and express their knowledge of Arabic. One of the reasons for this problem is that teachers do not use an attractive tool during the learning process. As an effort to overcome these problems, the researcher uses the Snowball Throwing method to improve students' understanding, especially on the lesson about grammer. The purpose of this study is to identify the influence and response of students of MTsN 7 in learning the lesson about Grammer by using Mu’addalah method. The research method used by the researcher is pre-experiment with pre-test and post-test design in one group design, and to collect the data,the researcher uses questionnaire and test. The approach used by the researcher is quantitative. As the population of this study are all students in MTsN 7, students in the second grade are selected as the sample, which is amounted to 28 students. The result is obtained from T-test Sig (.05<.001). This shows that the hypothesis is zero (ho) is rejected and hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, it is evident that the usage of Mu’addalah method is influential to improve student’s understanding about Grammer lesson.

Abstract

According to the researcher’s on Arabic teaching conducted in the class X-l MAN 4 Pidie Jaya the students  were able to speak Arabic well. They perceived that speaking Arabic was difficult. In addition, the teachers who taught the Arabic did not use the appropriate  methods . As a result, the students were not engaged and felt bored during the teaching and learning process. The students were sleeping, playing and annoying their  friends. The team teaching method is a method to fix all problems that occur both sides in students and teachers in the learning process. The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of using team teaching method in improving students’ speaking ability and to find out student’s responses  of using team teaching method in improving students’ speaking ability. The research method used was a pre experiment with one group pre test post test design. The research used pre-test and post test as well as ‘questionnaire as data collection instruments. The research found that the use of team teaching method was effective to increase students’ speaking ability.Furthermore, it was found that the result of T-Test calculation was bigger than T-Table 2,04<9,280<2,75. The result of student’s response sheets indicates that students have positive perception toward the use of team teaching method in speaking teaching. It was reflected in the student’s scrores in which 95,5% of them who interested in  the  teaching of speaking using team teaching method.

Abstract

So far, the making of evaluation question for Arabic language lessons at MAS Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa Aceh Besar has not been conducted in-depth qualitative research according to competency standards, especially in item construction, before being tested on students. The teacher designs the items only based on the difficulty level of the questions without looking at other aspects. Therefore, the aim of this research is to describe the accuracy of the construction of multiple choice items in Arabic lessons in class XI MAS 2019/2020 using descriptive statistical analysis methods. This type of research is qualitative research, the population in this research is 50 multiple choice questions in Arabic that designed by the teacher for class XI MAS Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa 2019/2020. The sample of this research is 25 questions from the population and the sampling uses simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques of this research are documentation. Qualitative analysis techniques was carried out using a format (table) designed by the researcher. The results of this study were based on samples, there were 16 questions in accordance with the research aspect of the accuracy of the construction of multiple choice items, while 9 other questions were not in accordance with the aspects of the accuracy of the construction of multiple choice items. When viewed from the aspect of construction accuracy in the total sample size, it is found that 8 aspects have been dominantly owned by all samples and 4 other aspects are not owned by the sample. And it is known that the 50 questions designed by the teacher belong to the types of distracters questions.

Abstract

Reading is an important element in the process of learning Arabic and is one of the language skills. Reading helps students to absorb knowledge and increase interest in writing. Then qiraah can improve students' knowledge with vocabulary, sentences, and editors that can be used in speaking and writing skills. The fahmul maqruk is one of the subjects in the Insan Qur'ani boarding school which aims to enrich students in understanding the reading text. Through observations that the researchers did, it was found that second grade students of the senior high school did not yet master Arabic, especially reading skills. They can read Arabic texts, but do not understand it and are they are unable to answer quetions in the book text. Although the teacher has explained them some of the vocubulary in the book related to the text. This study aims to find out response of teacher and students at Insan Qur’ani Islamic Boarding School in teaching the language using this model and to find out the effectiveness of Quantum Reading model implementation to improve students in reading comprehension. The research method of this study is experimental research. Researcher conducted this study in a group called “One Group Pre-Test Post Test Design”. The result of this research is the teacher and students response in reading teaching using this model is excellent with the achievement of observation value of teacher activity is P = 87,5% between 81-100% with excellent category and observation value of students activity is P = 82,5% between 81-100% with excellent category too. And the aplication of this model effectuve to improve students’ ability in reading comprehension, the proof is that the value of T-test with p -value  sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than the value of alpha ⍺ = 0,05 or (T-test < ⍺ = 0,05) with value is (0,000 < 0,05).

Abstract

To achieve the learning objective teacher use various methods in learning. One of wich is a group learning method. The purpose of this study is to determine the effevtivenes of the application of group learning method in learning reading skill and to determine students responses to the application of group learning method in learning reading skill. The method used in this research is the analysis method with a content analysis model. Researcher analyzed the thesis of Arabic Language Education Students relating to the application of group learning method in reading skill. The method used to collect data is the document method. The result of this study explain that applying the group learning method to reading skill is effective in increasing student ability to read. And student responses to the application of group learning method in learning reading skill are very good for increasing student motivation in learning and increasing student activity in teaching and learning. And makes it easier for student to understand the content of the subject.

Abstract

إن الموضوع لهذا البحث هو: تطوير وسيلة لوحة الجيوب في تعليم المفردات بالمدرسة الإبتدئية الإسلامية الحكومية Rukoh Banda Aceh، وقد إختاروا هذا الموضوع لأن الطلاب بتلك المدرسة لا ينشطون في تعلّم اللغة العربية لأن المدرّسة لا تستخدم الطريقة والوسيلة مناسبة أحيانا. وفي الحقيقة أن المدرّسة تستخدم الطريقة الحفظية والوسيلة الطبيعية في تعلّم اللغة العربية حاصة للمفردات حتى يجعل الطلاب لايهتمون بالمادة الدراسية ويكون الطلاب سائمون، فجرّبت الباحثة لعلاج المشكلة بإستعمل وسيلة التعليمية فهي تطوير وسيلة لوحة الجيوب في تعليم المفردات، وأما أهداف البحث منها لمعرفة قدرة الطلاب في إتقان المفردات بتطوير وسيلة لوحة الجيوب في تعليم المفردات، وأما منهج البحث فهو بحث وتطوير بتصميم تمهدية (Pre-Eksperiment)، وأدوات البحث فهي مقابلة وإستبانة وملاحظة مباشرة وإختبار القبلي وإختبار البعدي، فالعينة في هذا البحث هو الطلاب في فصل5 )3 -5(عددهم 28، وأما نتائج البحث من هذا البحث هي تطوير وسيلة لوحة الجيوب في تعليم المفرداتوتطبقها فعالية لترقية قدرة الطلاب في تعليم وسيطرة المفردات، وقد عرفت الباحثة بنتيجة الاختبار القبلي والبعدي. ويكون الفرض الصفري مردودا والفرض البديل مقبولا، لإن النتيجة "t" أكبر من النتيجة "t" table هي 2،79 >5،080>2،60

Abstract

The subject of this research is "The Effectiveness of Problem Based Learning on Promoting Students' Reading Skills at MTsN Rukoh Banda Aceh". One of the reasons that led the researcher to write this thesis is that some students during the process of teaching and learning are having trouble reading and can not read the correct reading and sound. Some characters do not match their output. The objectives of this thesis are to identify the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning in promoting students 'reading skills and to identify students' problem based learning activities on reading instruction. The research method used by the researcher in writing this thesis is empirical research. In the data collection, the researcher taught the Arabic language by direct testing and observation. The results of research obtained by the researcher in this thesis is that the application of Problem Based Learning is effective in promoting the reading skills of students. The difference between the control group and the experimental group is 11.962, and the result of student activities in Problem Based Learning is 89.70.

Abstract

So far, the making of evaluation question for Arabic language lessons at MAS Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa Aceh Besar has not been conducted in-depth qualitative research. The questions that tested to students were never through the maximum qualitative review stage. Thus, making of Arabic evaluation question in MAS Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa Aceh Besar only relies on estimation and uniformity. So, the quality produced is unknown. Teher for, the aim of this research is to determine of the quality of the question based on the level of validity in term of evaluating Arabic lessons in MAS Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa Aceh Besar. The question that was examined was made by Arabic Teacher in MAS Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa Aceh Besar with 50 items. This research is quantitative research with evaluation research method. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques, and interview techniques. The data analysis techniques used is descriptive statistical techniques with using the Anates V4.09 program. The result of this research in term of item validity show that the evaluation question on Arabic Subject in MAS Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa Aceh Besar have 25 valid item (50%) with details of 20 items have very good signicance (very significant), 5 items have good significance (significant), 24 items have bad significance, and 1 item NaN or undefined.

Abstract

The tittle of this research is a “Comparison Between the Drill and Practice Method and the Total Physical Response Method to Improve Student’s Ability in Vocabulary Mastery (Experimental Study at MIN 20 Aceh Besar)”. The researcher chose this tittle because the researcher found that the students felt Arabic was a difficult subject. This is caused by the use of methods by teachers who do not vary by only taking notes and memorizing vocabulary so that it makes students bored and eventually had difficulty following the lesson. Therefore, the researcher wants to use these two methods in improving student’s vocabulary mastery skills in order to find out if there is a difference in the effect between these two methods. The research method is the experimental method. The researcher took samples from class 5.1 with 20 students for the control class and class 5.2 with 20 students for the experimental class. This study uses a question instrument consisting of pre-test and post-test with descriptive statistical data analysis techniques, paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test using the SPSS v.25 program. The results of this study using the paired sample t-test showed that the Drill and Practice method and the Total Physical Response method had an effect on increasing student’s ability in vocabulary mastery. Which the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. The results of the study using the independent sample t-test showed that there was no difference in the effect between the use of the Drill and Practice method and the Total Physical Response method in vocabulary learning. Thus, the alternative hypothesis is rejected and the null hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

ازداد الاهتمام على المستوى العالمي منذ السبعينيات من القرن العشرين بتعليم اللغات الأجنبية لأسباب عديدة يرجع بعضها إلى التواصل المستمر بين الشعوب، وتطور وسائل الاتصال الحديثة، والتأثر بالمعتقدات الدينية، ولا يخفى على المطلّع في هذا المجال أن هناك نظريات ود ا رسات في الساحة العالمية تهتم بشكل واضح بتعلم اللغة الإنجليزية وتعليمها، بينما لم تنل اللغة العربية نصيبها في هذا المجال. على الرغم من أهميتها وضرورة تعليمها للمسلمين المنتشرين في أرجاء العالم، حيث يرى كثير منهم تعلمها واجباً عليهم، إذْ هي لغة العبادة اليومية، ولغة الق آ رن الكريم، بل كانت لغة أولى لدى كثير من الشعوب التي اعتنقت الإسلام إبان ازدهار الحضارة الإسلامية. لذا يهدف هذا البحث إلى إث ا رء الد ا رسات العلمية في مجال است ا رتيجيات تعلم اللغة وبخاصة تعلم اللغة العربية كلغة ثانية . ويتوقع أن تكشف عن فروق إحصائية واضحة بين المتغاي ا رت في مدى استخدام الاست ا رتيجيات، فيمكن على ضوء هذه النتائج توجيه الطلبة وارشادهم إلى استخدام است ا رتيجيات جيدة، وتدريبهم على كيفية استغلال قد ا رتهم، وتطبيق المناسب من است ا رتيجيات تعلم اللغة للرفع من مستوى التعلم.
