Abstract

This comprehensive study explores the predictive role of self-esteem in relation to anxiety, specifically trait anxiety and state anxiety. The research encompasses 229 college students from a university in Medan, Indonesia, who participated in an online survey. Utilizing Multi-Group Analysis PLS-SEM, the collected data underwent thorough analysis. The outcomes obtained from partial least squares structural equation modeling demonstrate that self-esteem has a negative impact on students' anxiety levels, encompassing both trait anxiety and state anxiety. Furthermore, the structural model was assessed across two distinct gender groups (Group 1: Female; Group 2: Male), and the results indicate the model's consistency across these groups. This study contributes novel insights to the existing literature on anxiety mitigation within educational contexts, particularly among Eastern populations. In conclusion, the findings emphasize the crucial role of self-esteem as a predictor of anxiety among college students in Indonesia. The research highlights a negative association between self-esteem and both trait anxiety and state anxiety. Additionally, by demonstrating the robustness of the structural model across gender groups, the study implies the universal implications of its findings. Overall, this research provides valuable insights for educators and practitioners seeking to address anxiety-related concerns and enhance the well-being of students in educational settings.

Abstract

The implementation of curriculum management is a series of resource management activities in implementing curriculum for the quality improvement. The purpose of this study was to find out how the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum in improving the quality of graduates in the pesantren KH. Ahmad Dahlan Sipirok. This study uses a qualitative method. The technique of collecting data is by interview, observation, and document review. In addition, data and information are analyzed by data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study were (1) curriculum planning was established by the madrasa leadership, MGMP, and teachers through curriculum planning meetings by making madrasa / pesantren education calendars, calculating effective working days for each subject, compiling annual programs, compiling semester programs, and implementing lesson plans as the direction of achieving academic quality and non-academic graduates, (2) the implementation of curriculum programs included learning using the curriculum of Diknas and pesantren through face-to-face learning, practice in mosques, halls, laboratories, and learning activities so that there were guidelines and targets achievement of the quality of graduates, (3) the implementation of curriculum evaluation included classroom supervision activities, learning evaluation, both formative and summative, and curriculum evaluation meetings at the end of the academic year which showed the achievement of the target of improving the quality of graduates could be seen from the fulfillment of minimum completeness criteria high and graduation of santri.

Abstract

Intrapreneurship skill has considered as the alternative learning outcomes of entrepreneurship education. However, entrepreneurship teachers need a complex learning program to develop intrapreneurship among business students. At the same time, The Ministry of Education and Culture of The Republic of Indonesia recommends university teachers implement case methods to deliver complex learning environments and build critical skills among students.  Therefore, this study aims to i) examine the effect of micro small medium enterprise (MSME) cases on the intrapreneurship of business students, ii) investigate the influence of MSME cases on flow experience in entrepreneurship education and iii) investigate the effect of flow experience during entrepreneurship education on intrapreneurship skill.  We used field experiments on entrepreneurship and digital business student in business development courses.  The result indicates that the case method effectively developed student intrapreneurship skill and flow experience during the course positively impacting student intrapreneurship skill.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil; (2) Pengaruh  iklim sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil; (3) Pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil; dan (4) Pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil secara simultan. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil yang berjumlah 40 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket. Metode analisa data yang digunakan adalah model Regresi Linear Berganda. Untuk menguji hipotesis secara parsial digunakan Uji t dan secara simultan digunakan Uji F. Hasil dari pengujian yang dilakukan dengan program SPSS versi 21 diperoleh persamaan regresi berganda: (1) Pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil: Ŷ = 112.517+ 2.134X1; (2) Pengaruh  iklim sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil : Ŷ = 112.517+ .254X2; (3) Pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil : Ŷ = 112.517+ .182X3; dan (4) Pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil : Ŷ = 112.517+ 2.134X1 + .254X2 + .182 X3. Berdasarkan data nilai koefisien regresi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebesar 2.134, iklim sekolah sebesar 0.254 dan motivasi kerja guru sebesar 0.182 artinya terdapat hubungan positif secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru; semakin tinggi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru maka akan semakin tinggi pula kinerja guru

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem informasi pengadaan di sekolah (SIPLah) dalam transparansi anggaran di SMAN 2 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil. Jenis penelitian kualitatif serta subjek  pada penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang sarana prasarana, bendahara sekolah, dan tata usaha serta dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancaraldan dokumentasi. Tekniklanalisis dengan penyajian data, reduksi data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa pengelolaan dana BOS yang diberikan kepada SMA Negeri 2 Gunung Meriah telah sesuail dengan Peraturan Pemerintah No.48 Tahun 2008 Tentang Pendanaan Pendidikan. Pengadaan barangldan jasa dengan menggunakan SIPLah memiliki tahapan perencanaan, pencarian, pemesanan dan pembayaran. Adapun yang menjadi tantangan adalah : 1). Harga barang yang mahal. 2). Toko SIPLah yang masih sedikit. 3). Proses pengiriman barang yang lama. 4). sumber daya manusia. Penggunaan SIPLah di SMA Negeri 2 Gunung Meriah dalam pengadaan barang juga berdampak kepada pemangku kepentingan terutama guru dan siswa untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran siswa. Untuk menunjukkan transparansi anggaran penggunaan dana BOS dalam pengadaan barang/jasa dapat terlihat dari Pengisian Berita Acara Serah Terima (BAST) yang di jadikan sebagai dokumen Laporan Pertanggung Jawaban sebagai bukti laporan penggunaan Angaran dana BOS secara transparan. Dengan  demikian  maka dapat diketahui bahwa sistem informasi pengadaan disekolah (SIPLah) merupakan platform dari pemerintah yang dapat menunjukkan transparansi penggunaan dana BOS.

Abstract

Pembiayaan pendidikan menjadi salah satu kunci penentu kualitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Untuk itu, perlu dikelola secara tepat guna dan tepat sasaran. Dalam konteks penelitian ini, ditelaah secara komprehensif dari aspek pelaporan dan pengendalian pembiayaan pendidikan. Untuk menganalisis topik tersebut, maka digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Proses pengumpulan data dan pengecekan keabsahan menggunakan data dari sumber kredibel, meliputi Google Scholar, SINTA, DOAJ dan tandfonline. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembiayaan pendidikan meliputi aspek biaya investasi, biaya operasional dan biaya personal. Mendukung hal ini, dibutuhkan perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan yang terukur, meliputi penyusunan Rencana dan Pengembangan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Sekolah, sebagai data awal proses penyusunan anggaran (budget). Dengan demikian, pengelolaan semua jenis keuangan, termasuk usaha yang memperoleh atau mengumpulkan dana untuk membiayai aktivitas atau kegiatan program pendidikan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terkendali dengan efektif dan efisien di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation and results of teacher coaching management in an effort to improve the quality of education in Subulussalam City. The approach used was qualitative with a descriptive type. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results include: (1) Planning for coaching by the Subulussalam City Education and Culture Office is not yet fully in accordance with level qualifications, focusing on improving teacher quality through short, medium and long term planning, as well as partnerships. (2) The implementation of the teacher quality improvement program is carried out through training according to level, both by the Office independently and through partnerships. (3) This coaching results in improved teacher competence, motivation and enthusiasm for teaching, performance monitoring, implementation of best practices and understanding of education policy.
