Abstract

The quality of education is a benchmark for parents to choose their child's school, so it requires regular monitoring and evaluation. This study aims to analyze the implications of monitoring and evaluation of school quality. The background of this research took place at One Roof Junior High School 4, STU Jehe, Pakpak Bharat Regency. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and the type of research is field research. Collecting data in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction technique, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results of this study concluded that supervision activities using individual and group techniques as a result of monitoring and evaluation have succeeded in improving the quality of education. Then supervision activities include monitoring, coaching, guidance and training, as well as assessments which greatly impact the implications of monitoring and evaluating school quality improvement. Supporting factors in the form of cooperation and mutual support are one of the keys to successful implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of school principals in fostering teacher professionalism at SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. The research approach used was qualitative with a descriptive method, namely knowing and giving an overview of an objective fact and situation that occurred in the field, with research informants at SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. The results of this study indicate that the management of the principal of SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu in fostering teacher professionalism is carried out well. This is indicated by 4 aspects, namely (1) in the planning aspect, the school principal has implemented efforts to improve the quality of education and teacher professionalism; (2) organizational aspects, the principal involves all school members to be involved in all forms of activity; (3) implementation aspect: in practice the school principal has a program implemented, namely providing opportunities for teachers to attend training, seminars, and activities related to teacher professional competence; and (4) evaluation aspect: evaluation really needs to be done to influence the level of achievement of the goals that have been set previously.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and infrastructure on the work motivation of teachers, either partially or simultaneously. This research is a quantitative research with survey method and descriptive approach and has a sample of 55 respondents. Determination of the sample using probability sampling technique with simple random sampling method. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing, documenting and distributing questionnaires to respondents. While the data processing technique is done by testing the validity, reliability test, data analysis prerequisite test which includes normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedasticity test, while the data analysis technique is done by correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing is done by t test (partial), f test (simultaneous), and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that: 1) the results of the t-test (partial) of the work environment variable obtained the value of tcount (3.063) > ttable (1.675) and Sig 0.000 <0.05. This shows that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on teacher work motivation; 2) the results of the t-test (partial) of the infrastructure variable obtained the value of tcount (3.550) > ttable (1.675) and Sig 0.000 <0.05. This shows that infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on teacher work motivation; 3) the results of the F test (simultaneous) obtained the value of Fcount (102.659) > Ftable (3.18) and Sig 0.000 <0.05. This shows that the work environment and infrastructure together have a positive and significant effect on teacher work motivation. Through the coefficient of determination test, the coefficient of determination is 0.798. This shows that the effect of the work environment and infrastructure together on the work motivation of teachers is 79.8% and the remaining 20.2% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. keyword: infrastructure, motivation, work environment

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan desa cerdas di Desa Kolam melalui pengembangan aplikasi dan website yang mengintegrasikan sistem informasi dan administrasi. Dalam pengabdian ini, dilakukan pelatihan dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat desa serta aparatur desa untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka terkait teknologi informasi. Evaluasi dan umpan balik dilakukan untuk memastikan keberhasilan program ini. Dengan adanya aplikasi dan website, efisiensi administrasi desa meningkat, akses terhadap informasi menjadi lebih mudah, dan transparansi dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa terwujud. Masyarakat desa juga turut berpartisipasi aktif dalam penggunaan aplikasi dan memanfaatkannya untuk kepentingan sehari-hari, seperti mendapatkan informasi tentang pelayanan publik, melaporkan permasalahan, dan mengakses data penting. Melalui pengabdian ini, terjadi perubahan yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat desa dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi. Masyarakat desa semakin sadar akan manfaat digitalisasi dalam memajukan pemerintahan desa dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka. Pengabdian ini menjadi langkah awal menuju desa cerdas di Desa Kolam, di mana penerapan teknologi informasi menjadi landasan yang kuat dalam pengembangan desa secara holistik dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Performance is very important for a company, because employee performance is a benchmark for companies to assess capabilities, productivity and provide useful information for matters related to employees. This research is based on the not maximum employee performance at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Medan. The type of research in this study is associative. The population in this study is an employee of PT. Pos Indonesia I (Persero) Medan and for samples taken as many as 78 people. The data collection techniques in this study list questions. The results showed that simultaneously leadership, Work Motivation and compensation were positively and significantly impacted the employee  performance. Partially, leadership, Work Motivation and compensation  were also positively and significantly impacted the employee  performance of  POS Indonesia Company Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi manajemen yang dilakukan kepala sekolah untuk membina kompetensi guru di MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah Sigambal. Fungsi manajemen tersebut di antaranya adalah perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, lebih khusus lagi metodologi deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam pembinaan profesionalisme guru terutama di bidang kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional. Perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah meliputi; perencanaan bimbingan administrasi guru, baik RPP, silabus, penilaian peserta didik, melakukan pelatihan dan pendidikan, pembinaan melalui organisasi keguruan yaitu MGMP, pembinaan melalui supervisi kelas, pembinaan melalui rapat serta pembinaan tugas secara individual. Pengorganisasian yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah adalah dengan mengelompokkan tugas sesuai dengan latar belakang dimiliki para guru di MTs Al-Washliyah Sigambal. Pelaksanaan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam pembinaan profesionalisme guru adalah dengan merealisasikan perencanaan dan pengorganisasian yang disusun oleh kepala sekolah dan pihak-pihak yang terkait seperti pelatihan, memfasilitasi sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang proses belajar mengajar, melalui organisasi pendidikan, rapat serta supervisi yang sudah direncanakan oleh kepala sekolah. Pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah adalah dengan melihat kelengkapan guru dalam mengajar, baik itu administrasi, cara mengajar, media yang digunakan dan penguasaan materi di dalam kelas serta melakukan evaluasi.

Abstract

The implementation of curriculum management is a series of resource management activities in implementing curriculum for the quality improvement. The purpose of this study was to find out how the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum in improving the quality of graduates in the pesantren KH. Ahmad Dahlan Sipirok. This study uses a qualitative method. The technique of collecting data is by interview, observation, and document review. In addition, data and information are analyzed by data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study were (1) curriculum planning was established by the madrasa leadership, MGMP, and teachers through curriculum planning meetings by making madrasa / pesantren education calendars, calculating effective working days for each subject, compiling annual programs, compiling semester programs, and implementing lesson plans as the direction of achieving academic quality and non-academic graduates, (2) the implementation of curriculum programs included learning using the curriculum of Diknas and pesantren through face-to-face learning, practice in mosques, halls, laboratories, and learning activities so that there were guidelines and targets achievement of the quality of graduates, (3) the implementation of curriculum evaluation included classroom supervision activities, learning evaluation, both formative and summative, and curriculum evaluation meetings at the end of the academic year which showed the achievement of the target of improving the quality of graduates could be seen from the fulfillment of minimum completeness criteria high and graduation of santri.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research in the form of a case study. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Sunggal in Deli Serdang Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out how the principal's management improves teacher teaching performance at SMP Negeri 1 Sunggal District. The respondents of this study were school principals, vice principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documents. The results of this study are that SMP Negeri 1 Sunggal has implemented policies quite well to improve teacher teaching performance and is trying to improve the program so that it can be more easily implemented by teachers and students by involving all school stake holders . The work arrangement for the Principal of Sunggal 1 Public Middle School is carried out by the principal by forming a school management team where the management section will formulate the main tasks and functions of each group in the school organizational structure by dividing tasks according to the existing school organizational structure. Supervision of the principal of SMP Negeri 1 Sunggal is carried out through two stages, namely direct supervision by going directly to the field and indirect supervision by requesting reports from school officials and involving supervision of other parties. Factors supporting the teaching performance of teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Sunggal come from within the school such as infrastructure, teachers and collaboration with all parties, then for supporting factors that come from outside the school, namely collaboration with Higher Education Institutions while inhibiting factors include lack of teacher competence, teaching methods teaching is monotonous, the budget is inadequate, the teacher's ability to use ICT is low plus there is an attitude of resignation due to the age factor to keep up with technology and information developments

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher certification, quality of work life and professional competence on teacher performance in public junior high schools in the Selesai sub-district of Langkat Regency. This research was conducted at public Junior High School in the Selesai Sub-District of Langkat Regency with a sample size of 70 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data analysis techniques namely validity, reliability, t test and F test. The results showed that there was an effect of teacher certification on teacher performance where the t value obtained was 2,220 with the acquisition of a Sig value of 0.030 0.05 and the results of simple regression analysis Y = 0,127 + 0,234X1, which means that every increase in one certification value will be followed by an increase in performance value of 0,234. There is an effect of quality of work life on teacher performance where t count is 5,948, with the acquisition of Sig 0.000 0.05 and the results of regression analysis Y = 0,127 + 0,598X2, which means that every increase of one value of quality of work life will be followed by an increase in performance value of 0,127. There is an effect of professional competence on teacher performance where t count is 2,132, with the acquisition of Sig 0,037 0,05 and the results of regression analysis Y = 0,127 + 0,145X3, which means that every increase in one value of professional competence will be followed by an increase in teacher performance value of 0,145. There is an effect of certification (X1), quality of work life (X2) and professional competence (X3) together on teacher performance where the F value is 41,425 and the Sig value is 0.000. The amount of influence is shown by the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) = 0,653 which means that certification (X1), quality of work life (X2) and professional competence (X3) together have an influence on teacher performance by 65,3% and the remaining 34,7% is determined by other factors. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show the equation Y = 0,127 + 0,234X1 + 0,598X2 + 0,145X3

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum merdeka belajar di sekolah penggerak meliputi aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian dan pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Dalam proses perencanaan kurikulum, seluruh elemen sekolah mulai dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, staf, guru, hingga peserta didik mampu beradaptasi dan menaruh minat dalam pengenalan tentang kurikulum merdeka (2) Melalui musyawarah, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru saling berkolaborasi dalam menyusun pengorganisasian kurikulum merdeka. Mulai dari jadwal pembelajaran, modul ajar, metode ajar, hingga hal-hal pendukung lainnya disusun dengan beragam penyesuaian berdasarkan hasil diskusi. (3) Terdapat banyak perubahan signifikan dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka, di antaranya adalah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, kompetensi dalam digitalisasi pendidikan, fleksibilitas dalam belajar, dan metode belajar yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kompetensi peserta didik. Terdapat tantangan dan kekurangan dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka, walaupun demikian hal tersebut dapat diatasi dan senantiasa berusaha ditingkatkan penerapannya dalam lingkungan sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Kabanjahe. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan karena kurikulum merdeka dianggap sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan global di era sekarang.
