Abstract

Unit Produksi Ikan Patin Super Politeknik Negeri Lampung merupakan usaha yang bergerak di bidang produksi perikanan ikan air tawar khususnya produksi ikan patin super.  Unit Usaha produksi ikan patin super ditujukan untuk menyediakan produk ikan patin konsumsi yang berkualitas di masyarakat untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan industri pengolahan ikan.  Produksi ikan patin super sebagai usaha penyedia ikan patin konsumsi pada tahun 2016 dapat memproduksi ikan patin konsumsi sebesar 22.250 kg dan pada tahun 2017 mencapai 32.450 kg dengan spesifikasi produk ikan patin yang dihasilkan yaitu ikan patin konsumsi dengan bobot > 900 gram per ekor dan daging berwarna putih.  Nilai nominal penjualan produk pada tahun 2016 mencapai 300.375.000,- atau rata-rata mencapai 25.031.250,- per bulan dan pada tahun 2017 mencapai  438.075.000,- atau rata-rata mencapai 36.506.250,- per bulan.  Selain sebagai sarana produksi, Unit Produksi Ikan Patin Super juga digunakan sebagai wahana pembelajaran bagi siswa, mahasiswa maupun masyarakat di bidang usaha dan budidaya ikan.  Sejak tahun 2012, Unit Produksi Ikan Patin Super menjadi tempat magang bagi siswa SMK perikanan serta magang bagi mahasiswa Politeknik Negeri Lampung serta menjadi tempat wisata pendidikan bagi siswa-siswa taman kanak-kanak dan sekolah dasar.  Kata Kunci : Unit Produksi, pakan ikan patin super, jasa konsultasi

Abstract

One of the obstacles often encountered in the cultivation of gourami is  a relatively slow rate of growth compared with other freshwater fishes. This slow growth is partly due to the incomplete and unbalanced nutritional content and the low ability of the fish to digest a certain  type of feed materials. The ability to digest fish feed types depends on the quality and quantity of feed and enzymes present in the digestive tract. The enzymes released by the glands in the gut have the function to digest food elements. Among the enzymes involved in digestion are amylase, protease, lipase, cellulase, pectinase, and pullulanase.  To improve digestion, the use of artificial enzymes in certain doses is combined with natural food such as papaya to optimize the dose of artificial enzymes. The use of papaya is already widely used as a food supplement, especially in the  gourami grow-out culture. Aside from being natural food, papaya leaves can also serve as a natural source of digestive enzymes. The objective of this study is to determine the optimal dose of artificial enzymes added to feed which can improve the digestibility and growth of gourami. In this study, treatments of artificial feeding of gourami are used with the addition of artificial enzymes amounting to 1% (A), 2% (B), 3% (C), papaya leaves and pellets (D), and pellets alone (E).  Results after two months rearing showed that the digestibility of feed supplemented with natural enzymes in papaya (papain) can be further improve optimized by the addition of artificial digestive enzymes in a dose of 3% of the weight of the feed. Fish of this treatment group  showed  faster growth compared with other treatments.

Abstract

This experiment purposed to increase quality of cacao leader by product (CLBP) and leucaena leucocephala leader (LLL) that fermentated in niloticus feed. The variables observed was decrease of limiting factor there was crude fiber, selulose,hemiselulose, lignin, Neutral detergent fiber (NDF) fraction, Acid detergent fiber (ADF) fraction, theobromin anti nutrient on CLBP, mimosin on LLL an digestibility trials . digestibility trials done to niloticus with average weight of 35-40 gr and density of 10 fish/aquarium (80x40x40 cm). The result of experiment showed that CLBP fermentation with Aspergillus niger can decrease crude fiber 51,48%, and increased protein contain 78,67, while decreation of crude fiber on LLL 46,61% and protein increased 18,25%, total amino acid of CLBP increased 19,35% and on LLL 7,94. %. Result of digestibility of niloticus increased total indigestion of CLBP 52,37% to 60,3%, and 54,89% to 61,43% on LLL. While biology examination was done on Niloticus which 35-40 gram/fish. The best result of growth performance and feed conversion ratio due to this group of fish on feed composition 12% CLBP fermentation, 8% LLL fermentation and 6% CLBP fermentation, 24% LLL fermentation. Palability and survival rate due to this group showed not significant different (P<0,05). Keywords: cacao leader by product,leucaena leucocephala leader, fermentation , niloticus

Abstract

Budi Mulya2 (BM2) Orphanage is an orphanage located on Jalan Raden Imba Kusuma Ratu GangKenanga, Beringin Jaya Village, Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung. Problems faced by orphanagesinclude; the need for provision of life skills for foster children has not been fulfilled and there is a lackof cooperation with government or private agencies that can provide skills training programs for fosterchildren. Based on the analysis of the fishery sector, to help solve partner problems is to guideornamental fish cultivation and assistance in the establishment of ornamental fish farming businessunits that can be carried out on limited land. The purpose of this activity is the transfer of knowledgeand skills in ornamental fish cultivation which is expected to be a provision for independence andentrepreneurship. This service activity uses counseling and demonstration methods as well as practiceand giving stimulants. This activity received a positive response from the children's orphanage asindicated by the participation rate of almost 90%. The results of the evaluation of activities experiencedan increase in knowledge and skills by 23.2%. This shows that the counseling carried out is quite goodby the participants and can increase their knowledge and skills of the participants.

Abstract

Darul Aitam Yatim Islamic Boarding School is an educational and social institution for orphans, aiming to provide adequate housing and education for orphans and try to meet their needs well. The boarding school is located in Banjaragung Village, Jatiagung District, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province. The number of students at the end of 2020 was 248 students. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the knowledge, insight, and skills/skills of the students at the Putra Putri Yatim Darul Aitam Islamic Boarding School by providing training on catfish cultivation in buckets for male students and training on making processed catfish-based products (fish nuggets, fish balls, sempol fish, fish rolls) for female students. The method used is the lecture method, practice, discussion, and question and answer. The achievements of service activities at the Darul Aitam Putra Putri Yatim Islamic Boarding School include the enthusiasm of male and female students in participating in very high activities, can provide entrepreneurial motivation as a strengthening of independent business, and can increase knowledge, insight, and skills/skills for processing catfish-based products for female students and for male students they can cultivate catfish in buckets for entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Wanita Kelas II A Bandar Lampung terletak di Desa Way Hui, KabupatenLampung Selatan. Sebagian besar warga binaan masih dalam usia produktif, pada rentang usia 20-50tahun. Hal ini potensial karena Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) merupakan salah satu bagiandari masyarakat yang juga perlu mendapat perhatian di bidang alih teknologi atau keterampilan. Olehkarena itu, perlu dilakukan pemberdayaan dengan memberikan pelatihan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalahuntuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui pelatihan dan demonstrasi pembuatanproduk olahan rumput laut dan budidaya ikan hias, serta memberikan stimulan untuk saranapengolahan ikan dan budidaya ikan hias. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, diskusi,dan praktik. Capaian kegiatan pengabdian ini antara lain antusiasme peserta yang ditunjukkandengan tingkat partisipasi 100%. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penyerapan materi danketrampilan dalam budidaya ikan hias mengalami peningkatan dari 46,67% menjadi 81,94% danpenyerapan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan pengolahan rumput laut mengalami peningkatan dari62,01% menjadi 92,29% atau meningkat sebesar 30,28%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhanyang dilakukan dapat diserap dengan cukup baik oleh peserta dan dapat menambah pengetahuan,dan keterampilan peserta serta dapat memberikan motivasi berwirausaha sebagai penguatan usahamandiri.

Abstract

Pokdakan Mina Karya di Sukarame Bandar Lampung merupakan kelompok pembudidaya ikan lele. Berdasarkan analisis situasi yang telah dilakukan, permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra antara lain : produksi lele belum optimal karena masih menggunakan padat tebar rendah, efisiensi pakan rendah dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) pakan tinggi, limbah buangan yang belum diolah dan penyakit yang mengakibatkan banyak kematian pada ikan lele. Solusi permasalahan adalah dengan penerapan teknologi bioflok yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan produksi lele. Teknologi bioflok adalah budidaya ikan lele dengan kepadatan tinggi, hemat penggunaan air, efisiensi pakan tinggi karena penggunaan pakan dapat diperoleh dari hasil perombakan bahan organik yang ada pada media budidaya. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan ketrampilan teknologi bioflok melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan dan demonstrasi serta stimulan bantuan sarana budidaya lele dengan teknologi bioflok. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, praktek, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Capaian kegiatan pengabdian antara lain peningkatan dalam pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dan berdampak positif bagi mitra antara lain : meningkatkan jumlah padat tebar menjadi 500 – 1000 ekor/m3, meningkatkan tingkat kelangsungan hidup sebesar 95% dan menurunkan FCR menjadi 1,0 -1,1.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan yang dilakukan diserap dengan cukup baik oleh peserta dan dapat menambah pengetahuan, dan keterampilan peserta serta dapat memberikan motivasi berwirausaha sebagai penguatan usaha mandiri.

Abstract

Kerang hijau merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang banyak diragukan konsumen untukmengkonsumsinya karena sifat alaminya yaitu filter fider, sehingga kerang yang diambil langsung darialam memiliki risiko tinggi terpapar mikroorganisme berbahaya dan juga logam berat, hal tersebutmenimbulkan kehawatiran sehingga diperlukan teknologi penanganan yang lebih baik pada saatpanen dan pasca panen untuk dapat mengurangi resiko tersebut. Untuk memastikan keamananproduk kerang, cara paling ideal adalah dengan memastikan kerang tersebut hidup dandibudidayakan di wilayah bebas pencemaran lingkungan. Menteri Perikanan melalui KeputusanMenteri Perikanan dan Kelautan Nomor 17 Tahun 2004, mensyaratkan bahwa produk perairan harusmenjalankan prosedur yang higienis untuk menjamin keamanan pangan bagi konsumen. Kajian inibertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat pembudidaya kerang hijaudalam pengolahan pasca panen dengan metode depurasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan diketahuibahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang sanitasi kerang dan minat masyarakat terhadapaplikasi depurasi. Diharapkan nantinya, masyarakat akan menghasilkan kerang yang memenuhistandar sanitasi dan higienis sehingga mampu memberikan rasa aman bagi masyarakat yangmengkonsumsinya.

Abstract

The management of broodstock is a crucial step in the fish breeding process. The size of the body andgonadal maturity are significant aspects of broodstock quality in aquaculture. To produce high-quality fish, thebrood needs to possess fully grown gonads and an ideal body size. According to several studies, green musselextract is thought to stimulate zebrafish growth and gonad maturation caused by estradiol compounds, althoughfurther testing on other fish, such as the Pangasius hypothalamus, has not yet been done. This research aims toevaluate the effect of administering crude green mussel extract containing estradiol compound via intramuscularinjection on the growth and maturation of pangas catfish gonads. The pangas catfish broodstock was treated with aninjection of green mussel extract and ovaprim at a dose of 0.5 mg/broodstock with three repetitions over a 30-daymaintenance period. The results show that the administration of green mussel extract at a dose of 0.5 mL/kgincreases weight growth. The homogeneity level of eggs in female pangas catfish induced with green musselextract is the same diameter as induction with ovaprim and slightly different from the control specimen (withouttreatment). The results show that the crude extract of green mussels in the methanol fraction, at a dose of 0.5mL/kg, can increase growth and egg diameter.
