Abstract

Keluarga merupakan fondasi utama dalam pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian anak. Namun, tidak semua orang tua memiliki pemahaman yang memadai mengenai pola asuh anak yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan dan dampak dari kegiatan kajian rutin bertema Parenting Islami di Masjid Jami' Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Kajian ini dilaksanakan secara mingguan selama delapan kali pertemuan dan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konseptual dan praktikal orang tua dalam pengasuhan anak, perubahan sikap positif dalam komunikasi dan disiplin, penguatan hubungan keluarga, serta perubahan sikap anak yang lebih positif. Kajian ini juga menyediakan layanan konseling untuk memperdalam dampak edukatifnya. Diharapkan model ini dapat direplikasi di masjid-masjid lain untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan keluarga di masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges faced in fiqh learning for 2nd-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Arroudhoh Pancasila Sakti and explore the solutions implemented by teachers to address these challenges. The research questions are: What are the main constraints in fiqh learning for 2nd-grade students, and how do teachers overcome these challenges? The research employed a qualitative approach, collecting data through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document studies. The research sample included fiqh teachers and 2nd-grade students at MI Arroudhoh Pancasila Sakti. The findings reveal that the primary challenges in fiqh learning include varying student comprehension levels, limited learning media, and difficulties in introducing abstract fiqh concepts to young children. The solutions implemented by teachers include using varied teaching methods, utilizing visual and audiovisual media, and applying individual approaches in guiding students. This research provides significant contributions to developing effective and engaging fiqh teaching strategies for elementary school students and offers valuable insights for educators in addressing fiqh learning challenges at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level.

Abstract

Fenomena program baca alquran berkembang pesat di berbagai lembaga pendidikan Indonesia. Rendahnya kemampuan santri dalam membaca alquran perlu mendapatkan tindakan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media Domino Tahsin (DOTA) dan mengetahui peningkatan kefasihan baca Alquran santri setelah dilaksanakan proses tindakan pada santri di TPQ Al-Ahsan Alue Beurawe langsa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisisi data, maka pemanfaatan Domino Tahsin (DOTA) pada siklus I belum mencapai nilai klasikal dengan skor 57,14% santri yang tuntas, dan dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan dalam memfasihkan bacaan Al-Qur'an santri, diperoleh skor 85,71% santri yang tuntas, dengan nillai rata-rata 79,5 . ini berati perolehan skor pada siklus II telah mencapai nilai klasikal 76%. Dengan demikian pemanfaatan media Domino Tahsin (DOTA) memudahkan siswa dalam memahami, melafalkan makharijul huruf dan efektif dalam memfasihkan bacaan Alquran santri TPQ Al-Ahsan Alue Beurawe Langsa. Hasil penelitian ini menjadi dasar bagi pendidik dalam mengembangkan dan menerapkan alternatif media pembelajaran tajwid untuk memfasihkan bacaan Alquran siswa pada lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the strategy of character education based on Child-Friendly Schools (SRA) in realizing the well-being of inclusive students in elementary schools. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research location was at State Elementary School Giwangan, Yogyakarta City, which applies the principles of inclusivity and the values of child-friendly schools (SRA) in an integrated manner. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observations, and documentation, involving the principal, class teachers, special assistant teachers (GPK), and inclusion students. The data was analyzed using data reduction analysis techniques, data presentation, and a conclusion drawn, accompanied by triangulation of sources to ensure the validity of the data. The results of the study showed five main strategies: (1) internalization of character values through daily activities and examples; (2) adaptive character learning by teachers and GPK with the help of visual media and personal mentoring; (3) collaborative planning between stakeholders to ensure inclusive character programs; (4) the active involvement of inclusion students in various character building activities in schools; and (5) the provision of a physical and social environment that supports the emotional and social well-being of students. This strategy has been shown to encourage inclusive participation, foster empathy, and strengthen students' sense of belonging to the school. This research contributed to the development of inclusive character education by emphasizing the practical and holistic application of child-friendly values in elementary schools. These findings offer a valuable framework for schools in building an educational culture that is humane, inclusive, and supports the growth and development of all students.

Abstract

The escalating prevalence of violent behavior, sexual deviations, and juvenile delinquency within educational settings underscores the urgency for effective intervention strategies. This study endeavors to address this pressing issue by designing religious, value-oriented, narrative-driven educational media aimed at imparting sexual education to elementary school children. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach grounded in the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the research team meticulously crafted and refined the learning materials. Validation of the developed products involved rigorous scrutiny by a diverse panel of experts, including media specialists, materials experts, pedagogical experts, linguists, educators, and students. This comprehensive validation process integrated both qualitative and quantitative analyses to ensure the robustness and efficacy of the educational resources. Evaluation of the products yielded promising results, with expert validators assigning an overall score of 85, denoting a "Very Good" quality assessment. Furthermore, assessments from teachers and students echoed this sentiment, with scores of 94.3 and 85.1, respectively, both falling within the "Very Good" category. The cumulative data score, totaling 264.4 with an average of 88.1, further validates the effectiveness and utility of the developed learning materials. In conclusion, the findings of this study highlight the viability and effectiveness of religious value-based narrative learning media in delivering sexual education to elementary school children. These findings not only contribute to addressing the pressing societal concern of juvenile delinquency but also offer tangible educational resources for instructional use in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya temuan di lapangan masih terbatasnya sumber belajar IPA utamanya adalah Ensiklopedia. Salah satu faktornya adalah harga Ensiklopedia yang cukup mahal. Sehingga, guru lebih mengutamakan menggunakan buku atau sumber belajar yang lebih murah dan terjangkau harganya terutama bagi peserta didik. Pembelajaran IPA yang diberikan oleh guru belum diintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai keislaman. Sehingga mata pelajaran IPA dengan agama terkesan dikotomik. Sementara mata pelajaran IPA memiliki relasi yang cukup untuk diintegrasikan dengan ilmu agama. Hal ini penting agar peserta didik terhindar dari split personality. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development model empat D yaitu Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Penilaian kualitas melalui uji validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa. Penilaian kelayakan melalui penilaian guru dan peserta didik kelas IV dan V SD Muhammadiyah Semoya dengan uji coba kelompok kecil. Pengambilan data berdasarkan hasil dari angket penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan diperoleh penilaian kualitas produk materi, media, dan bahasa sebesar delapan empat koma tiga sangat baik. Penilaian aspek kelayakan produk dari hasil uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh rata-rata sebesar sembilan puluh delapan sangat baik dan penilaian dari guru diperoleh rata-rata sebesar sembilan puluh empat sangat baik. Selanjutnya jumlah keseluruhan skor dari penilaian ahli, guru dan peserta didik memperoleh skor lima ratus sembilan puluh dengan rata-rata sembilan puluh delapan sangat baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk media ensiklopedia terintegrasi nilai-nilai keislaman berkualitas dan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This research theoretically analyzes parents' role in shaping Generation Alpha's character at primary school age in the digital era. This research method uses qualitative methods of literature study. Research data sources are obtained from literature relevant to the research theme, such as books, scientific articles, or journals accessed from Google Scholar. Data analysis techniques use content analysis techniques. Furthermore, the results of the content analysis are concluded in accordance with the research objectives. The results showed that the role of parents in shaping the character of the alpha generation with the following details: (1) teach children to access various information through the internet correctly and be able to communicate civilly; (2) control or supervise the impressions accessed by the child; (3) limit the duration of time children play mobile phones; (4) invite children to play in open spaces to develop socially; (5) invite children to exercise or play that can develop children's physical motor. In addition to the five roles performed above, parents also need to fortify children with strong aqidah and ahklak and bring children closer to the Quran so that children's character is quickly developed and formed.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are a form of obstacle that often occurs in the world of education, the obstacle in question is dyslexia. Dysselection is a problem that is often encountered in students, especially in grades one and two. This study focuses on the factors that cause dyslexic children and how to overcome them. This study uses qualitative research. The data collection technique is by interviews and observation while the analysis technique uses data reduction and conclusions. Research results: children who experience dyslexia at SDIT Al-Fadiyah Gowa are caused by internal factors such as genetics or parental lineage. Symptoms of dyslexia in children can be characterized by the child's inability to distinguish letters similar to the letters b and d, difficulty reading, and difficulty procusing words. This can be done by communicating with parents to do therapy on children, then providing special guidance to children with literacy and tutoring programs. The method of teaching dyslexic children at school is carried out by grouping children with dyslexia, providing intensive guidance, getting used to reading books together, and accompanying children throughout the learning process. The solution offered by the author in overcoming dyslexia in children can be done by creating a reading corner in the classroom, then the teacher uses the right methods and media for dyslexic children, adequate facilities, especially books with interesting variations.Keywords: Learning difficulties, Dyslexia, Reading difficulties.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the effectiveness of the Cheap Market Program initiated by the Trade and Industry Office of Palu City in enhancing the purchasing power of lower-middle-income communities. The program acts as a local government intervention to control the rise in basic commodity prices, especially during festive seasons and economic instability. Methodology/approach: A qualitative descriptive approach was used, involving data collection through observation, interviews, documentation, and a Likert-scale questionnaire. The instrument was based on Campbell’s five indicators of effectiveness and distributed to 30 program beneficiaries. Results/findings: The program was found to positively influence household purchasing power, particularly by offering affordable prices and ensuring staple goods availability. 63.3% of respondents rated the program as very effective, and 36.7% as effective. However, implementation challenges remain, including limited stock, long queues, and uneven information dissemination. Conclusion: The Affordable Market Program in Palu City is effective in improving community purchasing power by providing subsidized essential goods. Despite limitations in coverage and resources, the program delivers meaningful economic benefits and should be sustained with improved targeting and coordination. Limitations: The study is context-specific to Palu City and involves a limited number of respondents, thus restricting generalizability and statistical inference. Contribution: The study contributes to the discourse on local government social welfare initiatives by providing empirical evidence of program effectiveness and offering recommendations to improve policy design and implementation.

Abstract

One of the problems with acidic soil is its high aluminum (Al) content, which can cause toxicity to plants. this study was conducted to evaluate the preliminary growth and tolerance of L. leucocephala seedlings to Al exposure. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely Al concentration, consisting of 5 levels (0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 mM). The evaluation of seedling growth and tolerance assessed included: height, root length, dry weight of roots and shoots, tolerance index, SPAD (Soil Plant Analysis Development) chlorophyll, and photosynthesis rate. The results showed that Al exposure reduced all growth parameters (height, root length, dry weight of roots and shoots) of L. leucocephala seedlings. The tolerance index of L. leucocephala seedlings also decreased significantly (up to 43.68%) with increasing Al concentration. Meanwhile, chlorophyll and photosynthesis rate parameters increased with Al exposure of 2-4 mM, but decreased with higher Al exposure (6-8 mM). The threshold value or sensitivity of L. leucocephala seedlings to Al exposure was less than two mM. The L. leucocephala species can also serve as an alternative for land rehabilitation with high Al content as post-coal mining land.
