Abstract

Bahasa merupakan identitas dari suatu bangsa yang digunakan sebagai alat berkomunikasi. Setiap orang memerlukan bahasa agar bisa saling berinteraksi karena dengan berbahasa bisa mengungkapkan ide dan pendapat serta menjalin hubungan sosial lainnya. Sosial media merupakan media yang banyak digunakan para penutur bahasa untuk berkomunikasi jarak jauh melalui internet. Dalam perkembangannya pemakaian Bahasa Indonesia mulai bergeser digantikan dengan pemakaian bahasa anak remaja yang disebut dengan bahasa gaul. Penggunaan kosakata bahasa gaul pada salah satu jejaring sosial yaitu Instagram semakin hari semakin berkembang dan berganti mengiku ti tren. Pemakaian bahasa gaul tidak hanya dipakai oleh remaja, tak jarang orang berpendidikan pun menggunakan bahasa gaul ini. Sosiolinguistik merupakan bidang ilmu antardisiplin yang mempelajari bahasa dalam kaitannya dengan penggunaan bahasa didalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pergeseran Bahasa Indonesia di masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskripsi kulitatif. Dalam penelitian dikaji penggunaan bahasa gaul dalam komentar media sosial instagram Najwa Shihab yang terdapat bahasa gaul dalam interaksi tidak langsung melalui perantara akun Instagram. Sebagai warga Negara Indonesia sebaiknya kita dapat menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar sehingga keberadaan Bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa nasional tetap terjaga. Bahasa Indonesia adalah bahasa persatuan, jadi sebagai masyarakat Indonesia harus peduli, menghormati, dan melestarikan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar.

Abstract

The This study examines language politeness on social media pragmatic study instagram. The purpose of this study was to find out the politeness of public comments on Jokowi's posts on Instagram social media. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source in this research is secondary data from social media Instagram in the form of public comments on Jokowi's posts. The instrument in this study was an analysis table of documentation data. The data analysis technique collects data from public comments on Jokowi's posts, analyzes and describes the data using theories obtained from studying books and other scientific works, analyzes politeness, explains politeness analysis according to the rules of maxims and draws conclusions. The results of this study show the reality of language politeness, namely in the speech of public comments on Jokowi's posts on Instagram social media, using six principles of politeness so that it can be concluded that the analysis of each data shows that the speech is polite.

Abstract

Introduction. Theory and Appreciation of Literature course at Indraprasta University PGRI is a course for postgraduate students majoring in Indonesian. This course is conducted online (in the network), namely by utilizing the Whatsapps (WA) application by forming a WhatsApp group for the course. During the course of the course there is interaction between lecturers and students, namely in the form of discussions about the themes raised every week. Research purposes. The purpose of this research is to find out how presuppositions and speech implicatures are in whatsapp group discussions for Literary Theory and Appreciation courses. The research approach is with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The object in this research is the form of presuppositions and speech implicatures resulting from group discussion utterances, while the subject in the research is lecturer and student discussions in WhatsApp groups. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, recording techniques, and free-involved listening techniques and note-taking techniques. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman method. The results of this study are (1) Speech presuppositions found in lecturer and student WA group discussions, namely potential presuppositions, namely containing noun phrases where the lecturer conveys the learning situation that will begin, factive presuppositions, structural presuppositions, lexical presuppositions, all of which are indicated by several conversations between lecturers and students, (2) Speech implicatures found in WA group discussions are conventional implicatures and conversational implicatures.

Abstract

Literary works are born because of something that makes the soul of an author or creator have a certain sense of a problem or event in this world, both what he directly experiences and from the realities of everyday life in society. These problems and events can also affect the characterization of his work. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the use of characterizations in the short story collection "Sepotong Hati yang Baru" by Tere Liye. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. After the writer analyzes the characterizations in the collection of Sepotong Hati yang Baru short stories, finally the writer can draw the conclusion that the type of characterization that dominates the short story collection of Sepotong Hati Baru is the protagonist.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare cultural values ​​towards gender inequality in Yuni's novel by Ade Ubaidil and Dian Purnomo's novel Perempuan yang Menangis kepada Bulan Hitam. The research method used to compare these two literary works is a comparative method of qualitative descriptive analysis of comparative literary studies. The approach taken is a feminist approach. The results of this study indicate that there are differences between the culture of gender inequality in the two novels: (1) Yuni's novel presents gender injustice against Javanese women in the form of disastrous when rejecting male proposals more than three times and (2) The novel Woman Crying to the Moon Black presented gender injustice to Sumbanese women in the form of a catastrophe when they rejected the Yappa Mawine (Marriage Capture) tradition. The study uses a comparison table of elements of feminism and problamatic gender found in the novel Yuni and the Women Crying for the Black Moon. This research is expected to increase readers' interest in literary works as well as increase researchers' interest in comparative literary research

Abstract

AbstrakDi era digital ini, podcast menjadi tren di kalangan public figure, content creator, dan influencer. Beberapa di antaranya membuat konten berbasis podcast dengan berbagai tema. Salah satu yang menarik untuk dibahas adalah tema inspiratif dari podcast Daniel Mananta berjudul Rahasia Positive Vibes Ariel Tatum. Dalam percakapan antara Ariel Tatum, Daniel Mananta dan istrinya, terjadi perubahan bahasa secara sadar, mencampurkan dua bahasa atau lebih menjadi satu bahasa. Pencampuran bahasa pertama dengan bahasa kedua atau biasa disebut bilingual. Masyarakat Indonesia termasuk dalam masyarakat yang menguasai dua bahasa bahkan lebih. Penggunaan lebih dari satu bahasa menyebabkan terjadinya alih bahasa dan percampuran bahasa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi alih kode dan campur kode dalam podcast Daniel Mananta yang berjudul Rahasia Positive Vibes Ariel Tatum. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa alih kode internal, alih kode eksternal dan campur kode. Selain itu, penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya alih kode dalam tuturan bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Inggris dan sebaliknya, yaitu bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Indonesia dan campur kode antara bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Kata Kunci : alih kode, canpur kode, podcast. Abstract In this digital era, podcasts are becoming a trend among public figures, content creators and influencers. Some of them create podcast-based content with various themes. One of the interesting things to discuss is the inspirational theme from Daniel Mananta's podcast entitled Secret of Positive Vibes Ariel Tatum. In the conversation between Ariel Tatum, Daniel Mananta and his wife, there is a conscious change of language, mixing two or more languages into one language. Mixing the first language with the second language or commonly called bilingual. Indonesian society is included in a society that masters two languages or even more. The use of more than one language causes language switching and mixing of languages. The purpose of this research is to identify code-switching and code-mixing in Daniel Mananta's podcast entitled Secret of Positive Vibes Ariel Tatum. The method used is a qualitative method. The results of the research are internal code switching, external code switching and code mixing. In addition, this study shows that there is code switching in Indonesian to English speech and vice versa, namely English to Indonesian and code mixing between Indonesian and English.Keywords: code switching, code mixing, podcast.

Abstract

Swearing is part of the communication contained in a language. Swearing in its use is a form of expression that comes from anger or resentment towards something. However, the use of swearing has grown over time, swearing is not only used to express anger, but can also be used to express surprise, admiration or intimacy with other people. This research was conducted with the aim of examining the swearing that was said on Milyhya's YouTube content entitled, voice to all 2.0, Test Pot 2.0, Epic Chicken Dinner. The method used in this research is a case study in descriptive qualitative. The research data was taken from video conversations on Milyhya's YouTube account which contained swear words. The method used in data collection is through data collection techniques through searching data and documentation. The results showed that there were 16 data where the 16 swear words consisted of 5 basic words, 1 derived word, 4 phrases and 5 sentences. The swearing data that the researcher found included 2 types of meaning, namely connotative meaning and referential meaning. The referential meaning is divided into several functions, namely the emotive function and the poetic function.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan campur kode luar pada kicauan akun twitter pamungkas @whensaid__ . Jendra (Suandi, 2004: 141) membedakan campur kode berdasarkan tataran bahasa, yaitu campur kode tataran kalimat, campur kode tataran klausa, dan campur kode tataran kata.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Menurut pendapat (Creswell, 2010:5) Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan perspektif induktif, berfokus pada pemaknaan individu dan menginterpretasikan kompleksitas masalah. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data yaitu dengan cara observasi dan mengambil gambar pada unggahan akun tersebut sehingga data yang diperoleh itu valid, akurat dan objektif. Dari data yang sudah didapatkan tersebut lalu dibaca, dipahami dan dianalisis. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan campur kode Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris sekitar 25 data pada akun Twitter @whensaid__, mulai dari campur kode pada penyisipan kata, frasa dan kalimat. Penyisipan kata sebanyak 10 data, penyisipan kalimat sebanyak 4 data, penyisipan frasa dan kalimat sebanyak 1 data, penyisipan kata dan frasa sebanyak 5 data dan penyisipan frasa sebanyak 5 data. Penyisipan dalam bentuk kata lebih banyak digunakan oleh cuitan akun @whensaid__.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the style of language contained in the song lyrics on the album Kalah Bet by Nadin Amizah. This research is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques performed by the authors are data identification, data analysis, data classification, data description, data interpretation. The results of this study the authors concluded that the lyrics of the song Nadin Amizah use a lot of figurative language such as personification, antithesis, metaphor, hyperbole, simile, anaphora, assonance, allegory, and euphemism. The meaning contained in the three lyrics of the song are: (1) Problems of lovers who believe that their love will have a beautiful ending but it doesn't. (2) Someone who feels down. (3) Someone who leaves his past to pick up a new love.

Abstract

Hate speech is a phenomenon that has existed for a long time, but with the rapid development of technology, this has also become a driving factor for hate speech cases, especially on social media Twitter after it was acquired by Elon Musk. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative which aims to provide a description of the types of implicatures in tweets and comments related to Pikamee uploads. The data in this study are in the form of comments and tweets containing hate speech directed at via Twitter accounts. The data source used is in the form of screenshots that can no longer be accessed or traced via a Twitter account. Data collection techniques are obtained from the results of observation and analysis to prove the content of hate speech. The results of the study show that there are four forms of implicature in the form of: (1) Condemnation, (2) Resentment, (3) Schadenfreude, (4) Threats.
