Abstract

Popularitas game online telah meningkat secara signifikan sejak kemajuan teknologi dan internet. Kebangkitan Internet telah memungkinkan individu untuk mengakses dan membenamkan diri dalam dunia virtual, dengan demikian mengubahnya menjadi kebutuhan fundamental dalam kehidupan manusia. Studi ini menggunakan Teori Konvergensi Simbolik (TKS) untuk menganalisis transformasi makna simbol permainan di antara individu dalam kelompok. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode studi kasus untuk mengklarifikasi proses perubahan yang terjadi pada individu melalui teori konvergensi simbolik. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan lima pemain MLBB, yang diidentifikasi melalui rujukan dari informan awal. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti makna bermain game melalui konvergensi simbolik yang menghasilkan nilai-nilai kompetisi, strategi, dan prestasi menjadi terpusat dalam interpretasi individu dan kolektif terkait bermain MLBB. Hal ini mencerminkan adaptasi komunitas MLBB terhadap dinamika kompetitif dalam industri game saat ini. Interpretasi pemain dari pesan dapat dipengaruhi oleh konstruksi simbolik individu dalam kelompok, sehingga persepsi pemain tentang permainan sebagai simbol juga dapat terpengaruh. Hal ini menekankan, bahwa game online adalah proses yang dinamis dan transformatif bagi individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa dalam era kompetitif saat ini, bermain game, khususnya dalam komunitas MLBB telah menjadi simbol kuat dari semangat persaingan. Para pemain MLBB mengalami pergeseran signifikan dalam persepsi mereka terhadap bermain game, dari aktivitas rekreasi hingga sebagai sarana untuk menguji keterampilan dan memenangkan pertandingan.

Abstract

Instagram is one of the most commonly used social media in a company or institution in communicating company activities or activities with their respective goals. The digital era like today forces every marketer to be able to manage Instagram media so that it can be well received by consumers in order to create brand awareness. Winn Gas is a kitchen equipment brand that uses Instagram @winngas as a means of disseminating information about sales to consumers to increase brand awareness with creative message strategies that are created. Strategy based on Advertising approach, message appeal, execution framework and credibility of source or endorser. This study uses Holsti's qualitative content by paying attention to Instagram content from @winngas which is found in image content uploaded every day, plus by paying attention to Winn Gas's Instagram which protects with supporters. There are two endorsers to be studied, namely Chef Muto and Chef Devina Hermawan and Focus content taken from @winngas instargam posts categorized from product posts, mini quiz activities, holiday greetings, cooking content, events, interesting facts, creative message content. Posts are taken from a 30 day period represented by 10 Instagram posts. The results of the study show that the posts made by @winnga in the form of a creative message unit can increase brand addacition on social media Instagram

Abstract

Social media platforms are growing every time. The development of social media already has various kinds, such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and others. One of the new social media that is currently very popular is Tiktok. As one of the popular social media, Tiktok is a platform for users to be able to carry out the self-disclosure process, especially male users who tend to be feminine. Self-Disclosure as a Disclosure Process: The process of self-disclosure on TikTok is an act in which male individuals express their feminine side through the videos and content they share. This reflects their openness to identity and self-expression which may differ from the gender stereotypes generally expected of men. There are 2 (two) processes that occur during actual self-disclosure on the Tiktok platform, namely on the front stage and back stage and the management of feminine male personas on TikTok involves an understanding of how these individuals build, maintain and manage their image and identity in those platforms. They use elements such as visual effects, background music, and editing to amplify the message they want to convey and create an impact on their audience. TikTok as a platform provides a "stage" for feminine male individuals to perform and interact with followers and other users. They can upload videos with the style and content they choose, take advantage of TikTok's creative features, and manipulate visual and audio settings to create engaging experiences. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin tergerusnya kepedulian generasi muda akan kuliner khas Betawi (seperti kerak telor, laksa, bir pletok, gado-gado, soto betawi, toge goreng dan sebagainya) yang harus tetap dijaga kelestariannya ditengah persaingan antar kuliner asing/global yang ada. PkM ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan solusi agar terciptanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan komunikasi pemasaran digital dan diselnggarakan melalui metode pelatihan singkat yang menyasar pada sepuluh mitra yang merupakan pedagang kuliner khas Betawi di area Setu Babakan (Jakarta Selatan). Hasil PkM menunjukkan para pedagang memahami teknologi media digital yang dapat membantu percepatan usaha dagang produk makanan yang dijual ke pembeli/pengunjung Setu Babakan. Selain itu, literasi media digital diperlukan mitra demi meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk bersaing dengan penjual lain yang telah terlebih dahulu ‘melek’ teknologi. Hal ini sekaligus menepis kekhawatiran akan imbas kemajuan teknologi terhadap produk yang dijual mitra secara konvensional. Dengan dilaksanakannya PkM ini, melek media digital telah tercapai dimana mitra mulai aktif menggunakan platform media sosial (whatsapp, google, instagram, GoBiz) untuk mengembangkan bisnis kuliner kedepannya. ABSTRACT This Community Service activity is based on the eroding concern of the younger generation for Betawi culinary (such as kerak telor, laksa, bir pletok, gado-gado, soto Betawi, toge goreng and so on) whose preservation must be maintained amidst the competive global culinary. This community service aims to find solutions to increase digital marketing communication knowledge and skills and is held through a short training method targeting ten partners as Betawi culinary traders in the Setu Babakan area (South Jakarta). The community service results that traders understand digital media technology which can help accelerate the trading business of food products sold to buyers/visitors of Setu Babakan. Apart from that, partners need digital media literacy to increase their knowledge and skills to compete with other sellers who are already literate in technology. This also eliminates concerns about the impact of technological advances on products sold by partners conventionally. With the implementation of this community service, digital media literacy has been achieved where partners are starting to actively use social media platforms (WhatsApp, Google, Instagram, GoBiz) to develop their culinary business in the future.

Abstract

This research is motivated by conflicts in urban areas, which are escalating in frequency. Johar Baru District was selected due to the prevalence of inter-group conflicts, specifically in the form of brawls, which have become a daily occurrence in the area. The prevalence of this kind of conflict traumatizes the residents left behind in the area. Consequently, there is a pressing need to explore the voices of the community in conflict-prone areas that need to be explored. Communication infrastructure theory was chosen to support the analysis because this theory was developed to articulate problems in urban areas. The research method chosen is a case study. The research results show that the community expressed three essential things related to conflict: the dangers of drugs, peace, and providing employment opportunities. This research also shows that Communication Infrastructure Theory (CIT) is reliable for mapping conflict in urban areas as well as capturing the voices of communities that have been marginalized in conflict-prone areas.

Abstract

The SEJIWA Foundation created a digital activism movement by creating video content on TikTok about personal data theft in Indonesia, aiming to share information about how to avoid online fraud and overcome the problems that occur online fraud. Conveyed through social media content creators consisting of TikTok user actors with the account name @SEJIWA.foundation with theme of digital literacy in online fraud causes theft of personal data. This study aims to obtain information regarding the background of digital activism movement content creation in depth, starting from who are the actors involved in creating @SEJIWA.foundation TikTok video content to the dynamics of the digital activism movement in the @SEJIWA.foundation account regarding online fraud and theft of personal data. Also to find out about what form of personal data theft that takes many victims and how to prevent it through the use of new media concepts in carrying out digital activism activities, with TikTok social media @SEJIWA.foundation account. This research uses virtual ethnographic methods to explain the digital activism movement by utilizing the social media TikTok. The results of this research shows that dynamics are obtained by carrying out the digital activism movement itself. Where making movements will increase the dynamics or power of knowledge. Starting digital activism activities is the process of providing the dynamics or power of knowledge to social communities to avoid the rise of crimes. Because this knowledge will not mean anything if it is kept hidden and not shared with others.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi dari kondisi para pedagang kuliner khas Betawi di kawasan Setu Babakan yang belum seluruhnya ‘melek’ media digital. Sebagai pelaku usaha yakni penjual makanan lokal, para mitra berhadapan dengan tantangan dimana pemasaran konvensional tidak sepenuhnya dapat diandalkan mengingat banyak pesaing telah memaksimalkan media digital dalam usaha keseharian. Untuk itu, tim pelaksana PkM mengadakan upaya literasi akan kegunaan media digital untuk mengubah cara pandang dan perilaku mitra guna beradaptasi dengan teknologi. Alhasil dengan mengandalkan sosialisasi sebagai metode utama, tim pelaksana PkM berhasil menarik minat para mitra untuk beralih dan mengimplementasikan kecanggihan teknologi demi membantu meningkatkan pemasaran produk kuliner pedagang di kawasan tersebut.

Abstract

Digitisation of archives is an effort to preserve and utilise technology in the field of historical archiving. Archives hold significant value as they serve as authentic evidence and a form of ‘retrieval’ communication between the past, present, and future. The development and implementation of technology, particularly in archiving, are not always fully accepted by the agents who are part of the structure executing the archive digitisation policy. One of the challenges is technological resistance within the social elements of the structure, where the lack of training to improve staff competence is identified as an obstacle in the implementation of the archive digitisation policy. The Adaptive Structuration Theory was used as an analytical lens because it provides a holistic framework on how competence, as a social element, contributes to the success of the archive digitisation policy. The research used a qualitative descriptive method, with a case study approach allowing for more comprehensive research. The research paradigm used was constructivist, viewing knowledge as a social construct emerging from interactions and communication within a sociocultural context.
