Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perubaham wujud benda dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Weet. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Lokasi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian ini berlokasi pada SD Negeri 1 Weet. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas V SD Negeri 1 Weet sebanyak 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes tertulis. Hasil tes pada siswa terlihat adanya perningkatan tes awal ketuntasan klasikan menunjukan bahwa 4 (26) siswa yang mencapai KKM yang ditentukan meningkat pada siklus I dengan ketuntasan secara klasikan 9 (60%) kemudian pada siklus II nilai siswa mengalami peningkatan pada ketuntasan secara klasikan 15 (100%) siswa memperoleh nilai mencapai KKM yang ditentukan. Hal ini menujukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berdampak positif terhadap proses pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Weet pada materi perubahan wujud benda

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPA, yang masih di bawah standar sekolah, yaitu 65. Data menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap materi keberagaman makhluk hidup kurang memuaskan, baik bagi guru maupun siswa itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa agar mencapai standar yang ditetapkan. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah menerapkan model pembelajaran problem solving, yang sebelumnya telah digunakan guru tetapi belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di SD Kristen Kaiwatu, Kabupaten Maluku Barat Daya. Dengan metode kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui tes. Dari 15 siswa, mayoritas mencapai standar KKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Problem Solving efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa pada materi keberagaman makhluk hidup.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the existence and influence of game-based learning models on the learning outcomes and retention of learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MIS Al-Hudzaifah Dobo. The research method used in this study was experimental research using quasi-experiments. The results showed that there was an influence of game-based learning models on the learning outcomes and retention of learning outcomes of MIS Al-Hudzaifah Dobo students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving students' learning outcomes in the science concept of force for fourth-grade students at SD Kristen Patti. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology with 19 students as the subjects. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and observation sheets on teacher and student activities during the learning process. The research procedure consisted of two cycles including planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning model could improve students' learning outcomes in the science concept of force. This is evidenced by the increasing average test scores from the initial condition of only 51.11%, rising to 71.29% in cycle I, and reaching 78.52% in cycle II. Furthermore, the students' classical completeness also improved significantly in each cycle, with all students in cycle II achieving completeness according to the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 60. The application of this model also enhanced students' activeness and involvement in the learning process through group discussions and practicum activities. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model is effective in improving learning outcomes of the science force concept for fourth-grade students at SD Kristen Patti.
