Abstract

Pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar merupakan sebuah solusi untuk menjawab permasalahan pembelajaran IPA SD yang dirasa sulit oleh guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketrampilan berpikir kritis dan peningkatan hasil belajar IPA dengan menggunakan pemaanfataan lingkungan sekolah dan media puzzle. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas 5 SD Kristen Tutwaru yang berjumlah 11 orang. Metode pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengambilan data dengan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Indikator ketrampilan berpikir kritis yaitu, mampu memahami gambar, menjawab pertanyaan,, mampu menyusun gambar dalam media puzzle, mampu menjeaskan gambar dalam media puzzle. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian , pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan juga peningkatan ketrampilan berpikir siswa.

Abstract

The inquiry approach is one of the approaches proposed by experts to be developed in the learning process. Where inquiry learning teaches students how to research problems or questions of facts. Learning used an inquiry approach requires a classroom environment where students feel free to create, make assumptions and draw conclusions. The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in biological science learning outcomes regarding the concept of photosynthesis used a contextual-based inquiry learning approach for class VIII3 students at Junior Hight School Negeri 2 Ambon. This type of research includes descriptive research using a PTK design. This research was conducted at a Junior High School Negeri 2 Ambon. The subjects in this research were students in class VIII3 as many as 26 students. Data analysis uses qualitative data, then the final value is converted using completeness criteria. Based on the tests gived in cycle I, the final test results for each group were not significant. In group I, only 4 students (15.4%) had not reached the completion criteria and 5 other students were able to achieve completion with a percentage (19.2%). The number of students who achieved completeness in group II was 7 students (27.0%), and 2 other students (7.7%) did not achieve completeness. Meanwhile in group III, there were 5 students who were able to achieve completeness with a percentage of (19.2%) and 3 students (11.5%) who did not achieve completeness. Thus, there were 9 students (34.6%) who had not achieved completeness and 17 students (65.4%) had achieved completeness. Meanwhile, in cycle II the test results increased. In group I, there were 5 students who met the completion criteria with a percentage of 19.2%, 4 other students still had not completed it. Group II increased even more, 7 students (27%) met the criteria for completion while 2 students (7.7%) still did not complete. In group III there were 5 students (19.2%) who met the criteria for completion, and 3 other students (11.5%) who still had not completed it. The final test seems to show very good results. The conclusion of the research was taught used a contextual-based inquiry approach to the concept of photosynthesis can improve student learning outcomes, seen in cycle I and cycle II because the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects can improved.

Abstract

Pop-up book is one of the learning media that can be used by teachers in carrying out learning in class. This media is an innovative medium in the world of education so that training is needed for teachers to be able to create and apply it in school subject matter. This service aims to improve the skills and creativity of elementary school teachers in teaching through training in making pop-up books. This media is effective in attracting interest and facilitating students' understanding of subject matter, this service program is expected to facilitate more interactive and interesting learning. This training consists of delivering material related to learning media, pop-up book material, training on making pop-up books and questions and answers. This activity was held on June 6 2023 at Upunyor Christian Elementary School. The result of this activity is that pop-up book training activities can improve the quality of teaching in elementary schools and enrich the learning methods used by teachers.

Abstract

Klis Village is one of the villages located in Moa sub-district, MBD Regency. The daily activities of the people of Klis Village are farming, almost all the residents of this village earn their living by farming. One of the natural resources in Klis Village is cassava, or also known as cassava or cassava, which is an important food source in many tropical countries, including Indonesia. Cassava has great potential to be processed into various food products, one of which is crackers. Cassava crackers are a type of snack that is popular and has high demand among the public. Around 65% of the production of cassava chips (wet tubers) is used for human food as a main food such as a substitute for rice and a daily snack. Processing cassava into crackers can be an attractive alternative to improve the economy, especially in Klis village which has abundant cassava production. Seeing this potential, there is a need for creative and innovative efforts in processing cassava. Processing cassava into processed crackers is the solution offered in this community service program

Abstract

One of the educational learning media uses a smart board. This media is one of the learning media that can be used by teachers in carrying out learning in the classroom. This media is an innovative media in the world of education so that training is needed for teachers to be able to create and apply it to learning materials in schools. This community service aims to improve the skills and creativity of elementary school teachers in teaching through training in making educational media. This media is effective in attracting interest and facilitating students' understanding of the subject matter, this community service program is expected to facilitate more interactive and interesting learning. This training consists of delivering material related to educational learning media, training in making learning media and questions and answers. This activity was carried out on July 20, 2024 at SD Inpres Werwaru. The results of this activity are increased understanding of the material, increased skills in making creative media, and skills in using learning media. The evaluation results show that training in making educational learning media can improve understanding of the material, skills in making creative media, and skills in using learning media.

Abstract

The low mathematics learning outcomes of students are caused by many factors, one of which is the low interest in learning mathematics. One way to increase students' interest in learning mathematics is to apply educational games in the mathematics learning process. This description encouraged the PkM team to carry out community service at SD Kristen Sera with the aim of increasing students' interest in learning mathematics through educational games. This community service was carried out on Friday, December 13, 2024, which was attended by 17 grade VI students. The success of this activity was measured using a questionnaire on students' interest in learning mathematics. The results of the analysis of the learning interest questionnaire data showed that there was an increase in students' interest in learning mathematics before and after participating in the learning process using educational games on the material on integer operations. This shows that the application of educational games in the mathematics learning process needs to be done.

Abstract

This research was initiated because student learning outcomes were not yet optimal in science and science lessons on Plants, the Source of Life on Earth, one of the important materials in science and science subjects in elementary schools. This material contains basic concepts about the role of plants in ecosystems and human life. However, students often have difficulty understanding this material because of the limited interactive learning methods. The question card-based scramble method is proposed as a learning approach to improve student learning outcomes. This method involves using question cards containing queries or information that students need to rearrange according to the correct concept. This research aimed to determine the effect of the question card-based scramble method on the materials of Plants, Sources of Life on Earth, and class IV at SD Inpres Tounwawan. This research uses a pre-experimental quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. In this design, one group of subjects is given a pretest to determine the condition before treatment, followed by a posttest to measure changes after the treatment is given. Based on the data that has been collected from the results of data analysis on student test results in the pretest, it is still relatively low because they have not met the minimum completion criteria score, namely 65. Of the total 20 students, only 1 student meets the minimum completeness criteria. Based on the posttest results of class IV students, all of them have passed the minimum completion criteria score and reached 83%. Based on the T-test table above, the sig value can be explained. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, then there is an influence of the scramble method on learning outcomes for science material.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA adalah ilmu yang mempelajari fenomena yang ada pada kehidupan. Proses pembelajaran di SD Kristen lolotuara banyak menggunakan metode ceramah. Hal ini membuat siswa kurang bersemangat dalam pembelajaran. Menurut hasil wawancara dengan salah satu guru kelas 4, dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya IPA, siswa tidak pernah diajarkan dengan menggunakan alat peraga apalagi dengan metode eksperimeen. Hal ini karena tidak ada fasilitas sekolah yang mendukung untuk melakukan kegiatan praktikum tersebut misalnya alat peraga.Alat peraga adalah media alat bantu pembelajaran dan  segala macam benda yang digunakan untuk memperagakan materi pelajaran. Pelatihan pembuatan alat peraga IPA dalam kegiatanpengabdian di SD Kristen lolotuara ini adalah alat peraga peraga sistem peredaran darah manusia. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk Dapat memberikan masukan bagi guru tentang kreatifitas dalam merancang media pembelajaran berupa alatperaga  untuk dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa di SD Kristen Lolotuara

Abstract

Momen HUT RI merupakan momen yang sangat penting bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia terutama bagi anak-anak usia sekolah. Momen tersebut salah satunya dapat diisi dengan mengadakan lomba bagi siswa-siswi di sekolah untuk menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan jiwa nasionalisme, pantang menyerah, rasa solidaritas antar sesama, cinta tanah air, dan menumbuhkan semangat membangun bangsa. Mengingat pentingnya momen HUT RI bagi anak-anak usia sekolah, maka mahasiswa KKN Desa Werwaru mengadakan lomba menyongsong HUT RI ke–78 untuk siswa-siswi SD Inpres Werwaru. Pelaksanaan lomba menyongsong HUT RI ke–78 bagi siswa-siswi SD Inpres Werwaru memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama dan kekompakkan baik antar sesama siswa maupun antara siswa dengan wali kelas. Lomba menyongsong HUT RI ke–78 dilaksanakan pada hari Selasa dan Rabu, tanggal 15–16 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan lomba menyogsong HUT RI ke–78 tersebut terdiri atas tiga bagian, yaitu pembukaan, kegiatan lomba, dan penutup. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan lomba antar kelas tersebut dapat membangun kerjasama dan kekompakkan antar sesama siswa maupun antara ssiwa dengan wali kelas. Persaingan antar kelas dalam lomba tersebut terjadi dengan sengit. Namun, tetap menjaga sportivitas.

Abstract

Penerapan modul pembelajaran biologi berbasis inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan penuntun identifikasi dikotomis berdasarkan morfologi cangkang gastropoda dapat menjadi solusi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Modul yang dirancang secara menarik mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar mandiri, inovatif, dan kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan pengaruh modul terhadap hasil belajar sertaketerampilanproses sains siswadi SMA Negeri 10 Ambon. Metode analisis menggunakan SPSS 18 dengan signifikansi 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata N-gain kelompok eksperimen (0,71) lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol (0,47). Uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar antara kelompok yang menggunakan dan tidak menggunakan modul (Sig. 0,001 < 0,05). Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh signifikan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar (Sig. 0,000 < 0,05) dengan kontribusi sebesar 63%. Modul ini efektif sebagai sumber belajar inovatif dalam memahami materi gastropoda.
