Abstract

Referees have an important role in ensuring that volleyball matches are conducted fairly and following applicable rules. In Sumedang Regency, the quality of referee performance is still a debate, especially regarding the influence of referee classification based on certification and experience on their performance on the field. This study aims to explore the relationship between referee classification and their performance in leading volleyball matches. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews with various related parties, including referees, referees, coaches, and players, as well as through field observations and documentation. The data triangulation technique is used to increase the validity and reliability of research results. The results of the study showed that referee performance was classified based on understanding of rules, consistency in decision-making, communication skills, and physical and mental readiness. Referees with higher experience and certifications tend to show better performance in those aspects compared to less experienced referees. In addition, the training and continuous development factor has been proven to contribute to improving the quality of refereeing. The conclusions of this study confirm that the classification of referees plays an important role in determining their performance in leading volleyball matches. Therefore, it is necessary to increase referee capacity through continuous training and periodic evaluations to ensure high referee standards. This research contributes to the understanding of factors that affect referee performance and can be a reference for the development of a more effective certification system and referee coaching.

Abstract

Turbo throwing is a modification of javelin throwing intended for children where the series of movements begins with a throwing prefix and further motion. The students in general have not mastered the basic movements of turbo throwing. Children are out of place if they are taught to achieve high achievements in sports but instead they must be guided according to their physical and mental abilities as stated in teaching physical education in elementary schools must be adjusted to the level of student ability. The peer teaching learning model is a cooperative learning strategy where mutual respect and understanding are fostered among students working together. Peer teaching facilitates learning, students actively participate, and can solve problems together, so that an even distribution of understanding of the learning material provided can be achieved The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Peer Teaching learning method on the accuracy of the turbo throw of elementary school children. This research was conducted at State Elementary School 3 pegagan Kidul Cirebon Regency. By involving 9 students consisting of 2 male students and 7 female students.  This study uses an experimental research method where the primary data source is the researcher who takes action and the students who receive the action, while the secondary data is in the form of documentation data. The results showed that the peer teaching learning method was able to improve students' understanding of turbo throwing learning material. The conclusion of the study states that in the subject of Physical Education and Health athletics turbo throwing numbers with peer teaching learning methods can improve student learning outcomes in class V SD Negeri 3 Pegagan Kidul, and is useful for adding to the learning process learning method innovation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Program Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru (PKG) Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, penelitian ini melibatkan 22 guru PJOK dari Kabupaten Sumedang yang mengikuti program PKG PJOK. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis data observasi menggunakan penilaian skor, sedangkan data FGD dianalisis secara tematik menggunakan perangkat lunak NVivo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program PKG PJOK berdampak positif pada peningkatan profesionalisme guru PJOK, dengan sebagian besar peserta menunjukkan performa sangat baik dalam aspek pengajaran, penyusunan bahan ajar, pengembangan media pembelajaran, dan penilaian hasil belajar. Analisis FGD mengidentifikasi "pembelajaran," "anak," "sekolah," "penilaian," "PJOK," dan "materi" sebagai kata dominan, serta "Penyesuaian Materi" dan "Penampilan Mengajar" sebagai tema utama diskusi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan evaluasi, peningkatan literasi digital, dan penyeimbangan beban administratif untuk mengoptimalkan program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan latihan blocked drill dan random drill terhadap hasil ketepatan smash bulutangkis di UKM Bulutangkis UPI Sumedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain “Non-Equivalent Group Design with Between Groups Comparison”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet UKM Bulutangkis UPI Sumedang dan Sampel berjumlah 20 orang yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok : Kelompok A (Metode blocked drill) dan Kelompok B (Metode random drill), masing-masing 10 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Tes Ketepatan Smash. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Terdapat pengaruh latihan blocked drill terhadap hasil ketepatan smash bulutangkis di UKM Bulutangkis UPI Sumedang, dengan Nilai T-hitung sebesar -33.418 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) 9, dan nilai sig = 0,0000,05, dengan peningkatan persentase 42,4%. (2) Terdapat pengaruh latihan random drill pukulan terhadap hasil ketepatan smash bulutangkis di UKM Bulutangkis UPI Sumedang dengan nilai T-hitung sebesar -16,714 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) 9, dan nilai sig 0,000 0,05, dengan peningkatan persentase 18,8%. (3) Metode Latihan blocked drill lebih efektif terhadap hasil ketepatan smash atlet UKM bulutangkis UPI Sumedang daripada metode latihan random drill, dengan selisih rata-rata post-test sebesar 4,600
