Abstract

AbstrakMedia sosial kini menjelma menjadi sarana berbagi informasi bagi warga negara hingga dapat dikatakan sebagai sumber pengetahuan yang terstruktur. Informasi edukatif yang terdapat di media sosial juga turut melatih keterampilan seorang warga negara untuk mampu memilah konten yang berkualitas dan tidak. Media sosial Twitter banyak menyajikan konten edukatif melalui sebuah utas ataupun trending topic. Banyak segmen di media sosial Twitter yang dapat menjadi sumber edukasi informal bagi warga negara, termasuk edukasi perihal politik. Dari banyak akun media sosial yang memiliki konten politik dalam setiap cuitannya, Asumsi.co (@asumsico) merupakan salah satu akun twitter kekinian yang menyajikan konten politik serta isu-isu kenegaraan yang up to date. Melalui telaah studi literatur pada akun Twitter @asumsico, dapat disimpulkan bahwa konstruksi edukasi bagi warga negara pada akun Twitter @asumsico meliputi politik dan isu-isu aktual kenegaraan. Edukasi yang dimaksud disajikan melalui judul yang menggelitik, kemudian melalui sebuah hashtag dan utas. Fenomena ini menjadi sebuah pendidikan demokrasi di era digital (cyberdemokrasi) sekaligus sebagai sarana mengasah literasi digital warga negara.  Namun demikian konstruksi edukasi warga negara di dunia digital perlu diimbangi dengan kematangan pemahaman yang didapat dari lembaga pendidikan secara umum.Kata kunci: Digital, Negara, Politik, Twitter, Warga AbstractSocial media is now transformed into a sharing information platform for citizens that can become a source of structured knowledge. Educational information contained on social media also trains the skills of citizen to be able to sort out quality content. Social media especially Twitter provides a lot of educational content through threads or trending topics. There are many segments on Twitter as social media that can become sources of informal education for citizens, including education about politics. One of many social media accounts that have political content in each of their tweets is @asumsico. This is one of the most recent Twitter accounts that presents up to date political content and actual states issues. Through a review of literature study on the @asumsico Twitter account, it can be concluded that construction of education for citizens on the @asumsico Twitter account are includes politics and actual state issues. That means education are presented through an encourage title, then through a hashtag and thread. This phenomenon has become a democratic education in the digital era (cyberdemocracy) as well as means of honing citizens' digital literacy. However, the construction of citizen education in the digital world needs to be balanced with the maturity of understanding obtained from educational institutions in general.Keywords: Citizen, Politics, Digital, State, Twitter

Abstract

Community service activities in the Mandomai Village is intended to improve the community's economic level by providing assistance to the people in the Mandomai Village, by utilizing the assets they have such as the housewife community. The applied method is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). This aims to help community members, especially housewives, to have a new perspective on life so as to create a conducive climate for perseverance, especially in building a business in the culinary field. Thus, the Mandomai community can maintain the continuity of family life and improve the family's economic welfare. For this reason, Creative Economy Assistance activities are programmed for housewives in Mandomai Village. This activity received a good response because it suits the needs and can provide new insights and skills or abilities in the home business field.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi di perguruan tinggi saat ini adalah kurangnya budaya akademik yang mengarah pada pengembangan keterampilan abad 21. Keterampilan abad 21 salah satunya mensyaratkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di perguruan tinggi memiliki peran sentral sebagai mata kuliah pengembangan kepribadian yang bertujuan membentuk mahasiswa menjadi warga negara yang baik dan cerdas serta mampu berpikir kritis. Tujuan ini sangat relevan dengan perkembangan pembelajaran abad 21 yang diperlukan dalam rangka membangun sumber daya manusia Indonesia yang berkualitas. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21 adalah project citizen. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran Kewarganegaraan di perguruan tinggi melalui pelaksanaan project citizen mata kuliah Kewarganegaraan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa di IAKN Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model PTK “dosen pengajar sebagai peneliti” dengan mengacu kepada model siklus (1) perencanaan; (2) tindakan dan observasi; dan (3) refleksi. Project citizen yang telah diterapkan pada mata kuliah Kewarganegaraan di IAKN Palangka Raya dalam 4 (empat) siklus berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Keterampilan berpikir kritis ini terlihat saat mahasiswa menampilkan aktivitas curah pendapat di dalam kelompok untuk menyepakati isu utama yang akan menjadi tema kelompok, mahasiswa mampu berdialog dan menguraikan informasi yang telah dikumpulkan di hadapan dosen dan mahasiswa lainnya, kemudian mahasiswa mampu menampilkan keterampilan komunikasi yang baik pada saat showcase project citizen. Dari hasil evaluasi, mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa project citizen memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap mereka sebagai warga negara dan menambah kemampuan mereka dalam mengkritisi informasi.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah struktur sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang selama ini telah melekat dan terbentuk. Hampir semua sektor kehidupan yang terdampak pandemi mengakibatkan pola pikir masyarakat juga berubah demikian cepat dan cenderung dipaksa. Dari latar belakang kondisi masyarakat di masa pandemi, kemudian didasarkan pada analisis situasi di komunitas pelayanan GBI Anugerah Kota Palangka Raya, didapatkan identifikasi permasalahan dari perspektif warga negara dan civic virtue, yaitu 1) mindset warga negara yang kurang adaptif di masa pandemi; 2) belum adanya pemberdayaan masyarakat yang tepat yang diterapkan di komunitas pelayanan GBI Anugerah Kota Palangka Raya. Dengan demikian kosntruk pemikiran perlu dilakukan terutama ditarik dari perspektif civic virtue sebagai kacamata ‘tugas warga negara’ di masa pandemi. Dalam artian berbagai kesulitan dan kondisi yang tidak stabil telah menjadikan panggilan tugas sesama warga negara dalam bingkai masyarakat Indonesia untuk memiliki kepekaan yang sama agar bahu membahu di masa-masa sulit akibat pandemi Covid-19. Metode pengabdian berbasis riset yang dilakukan ialah berbasis pada Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Hasil pengabdian berbasis riset ini menekankan pada partisipasi aktif komunitas warga negara, diperkuat dengan pengelolaan aset yang dimiliki masyarakat sehingga masyarakat mampu mengerahkan daya upaya, aset dan potensi yang dimilikinya untuk bertahan di masa sulit akibat dampak pandemi Covid-19. Telaah lebih jauh dalam perspektif civic virtue dan konstruk Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di masyarakat, maka pembahasan ini bermuara pada tiga temuan penting, yaitu 1) Pola pikir adaptif Warga Negara di Masa Pandemi; 2) Urgensi Pemberdayaan Warga Negara di Masa Pandemi; 3) Realita dan Solusi Konseptual Warga Negara di Masa Pandemi: Penguatan Civic Virtue.

Abstract

Along this times, motto or watchword is no longer interpreted as values that must be transmitted. This condition also causes polarization in society. The purpose of this research is to identify and elaborate the values contained in Bhinneka Tunggal Ika and Religious Moderation to strengthen conception and practices of pluralism in Indonesia. This research used qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection were performed by Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with experts in fields of multicultural education, historian and philologist. Based on results, interrelated values between Bhinneka Tunggal Ika and religious moderation are togetherness, justice, respect and harmony. Researchers also found several interpretations by this research on findings and discussion, i.e 1) Religious moderation teaches how to respond the differences, this is accordance with the principle of unity within diversity in Bhinneka Tunggal Ika; 2) Justice can realized not only when we act in an equality, but also when we are able to live coexistence where there is no envy of each other; 3) Conception of respect and empathy is a national commitment and part of togetherness value in Bhinneka Tunggal Ika; 4) Public empathy as an encouragement from collective awareness and also a sense of togetherness is several background for embodiment of behavior in implementation Bhinneka Tunggal Ika and religious moderation. From these values, step to put forward are mainstreaming of justice principle and recognition of different entities to strengthen pluralism in Indonesia both in education and wider community.

Abstract

Religious conflicts still occur in the social life of pluralistic Indonesian society, one of the causes is the absence of peace values that are manifested in the religious behavior of citizens. Researchers have the assumption that the values of peace understood by students as young citizens can affect the religious behavior displayed. Therefore, this study aims to find how much influence the perception of peace values has on the religious behavior of young citizens at State Religious Universities in Central Kalimantan. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research type. The research was conducted at 3 (three) State Religious Universities in Central Kalimantan Province with 183 respondents as samples, namely students as young citizens with an age range of 18-24 years. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Validity and reliability test used the help of the SPSS application with the normality test stage using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test, the linearity test with a significance value criterion of 0.05 and the hypothesis testing stage using the simple linear regression equation formula. Results of the data analysis of this study indicate that peace values affect the religious behavior of young citizens in State Religious Universities in Central Kalimantan Province by 65%. The existence of a strong correlation between peace values and religious behavior provides an important recommendation for government policy as well as supporting UN 2030 Agenda. Improving peace building in this case can be taught in the implementation of peace education with peace values consisting of making peace with God, self, others, the environment and other incidental themes.

Abstract

Neoliberalism, as a dominant paradigm across various sectors, has significantly impacted the practice and direction of contemporary education. This article aims to critically examine the influence of neoliberalism on education through the lens of Christian educational philosophy. The study employs a qualitative literature review method, analyzing relevant sources from economics, education, and Christian theology. The findings reveal that neoliberalism drives the commercialization of education, shifting its orientation from character formation to market-driven objectives. In contrast, Christian educational philosophy emphasizes education as a means of holistic human development grounded in Christian values. This study concludes that Christian education must actively provide an alternative to neoliberal dominance by reaffirming education's role as a faith-driven calling to serve others and glorify God.

Abstract

Nowadays local and national cultures are gradually left behind. Cultural artifacts—while having beyond-physical meaning, even moral and cultural identities—are no longer maintained neither have philosophical attraction. Exploration of philosophical values ​​in huma betang can be a step to revitalize culture in order to strengthen Indonesians’ cultural moral identity. Huma Betang is commonly known as "the big house". Dayak people—a traditional ethnic group in Borneo—with diverse religions and beliefs have been inhabiting the houses for a long time in harmony and peace. This research used qualitative approach with ethnographic method. Research was located in Betang Toyoi Tumbang Malahoi, Rungan District, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Borneo province. For the Dayak people, huma betang is more than just a place to live; it is the center of Dayak's life structure. Cultural identities reflected are that huma bentang: 1) as a reflection of tolerance; 2) as the origin of unity and togetherness among Dayak people after the Tumbang Anoi peace agreement; 3) as a replica of communal system adopted by Dayak people; 4) contains cosmological patterns that reflect a balance of values; 5) as a reflection of democratic and egalitarian life; 6) through the pattern of life in it delivers the concept of Dayak’s leadership; 7) represents the collective principle; 8) as the ideal model of a pluralist community system. Keywords: huma betang, cultural morality identity, Dayak ethnic group, Central Kalimantan ABSTRAK Dewasa ini benda cagar budaya seolah tidak lagi memiliki daya tarik filosofis dan tidak terpelihara, padahal benda cagar alam mengandung pemaknaan yang lebih dari sekedar fisik, bahkan merupakan identitas moral kultural. Eksplorasi nilai filosofis pada huma betang dapat menjadi langkah revitalisasi kebudayaan guna memperkuat identitas moral kultural warga negara Indonesia. Huma Betang dikenal secara luas dengan istilah “rumah besar”. Rumah ini ditinggali orang Dayak sejak jaman dulu dengan beragam agama dan kepercayaan di dalamnya, namun penghuninya tetap hidup berdampingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Lokasi penelitian adalah di Betang Toyoi Tumbang Malahoi Kecamatan Rungan Kabupaten Gunung Mas Kalimantan Tengah. Bagi masyarakat Suku Dayak huma betang tidak hanya sekedar tempat tinggal, tapi merupakan jantung dari struktur kehidupan orang Dayak. Identitas kultural yang terefleksi yaitu huma bentang: 1) sebagai refleksi kehidupan masyarakat yang toleran; 2) sebagai asal mula tumbuhnya rasa persatuan dan kebersamaan antar suku Dayak setelah kesepakatan damai Tumbang Anoi; 3) sebagai replika sistem komunal yang dianut masyarakat Suku Dayak; 4) mengandung pola kosmologi yang mencerminkan keseimbangan sebuah nilai; 5) sebagai cerminan kehidupan demokratis dan egaliter; 6) melalui pola kehidupan melahirkan konsep kepemimpinan Suku Dayak; 7) merepresentasikan prinsip kolektif; 8) sebagai model ideal sistem masyarakat pluralis. Abstract

Purpose-This study examines the integration of inclusive religious literacy and sustainable development goals (based on SDGs goals 4, 12, and 16) into Civic Education (PKn) learning at the Palangka Raya State Institute Of Christian Religion. Using a qualitative approach and participatory observation over one semester,Research Methodology/Design/Approach- the study found that this integration was implemented through three main strategies: (1) contextualization of materials using local case studies, (2) application of critical dialogue based on Paulo Freire's approach, and (3) assignments for sustainable projects. Finding-The results showed that these strategies were effective in enhancing students' multicultural awareness and their ability to analyze issues of intolerance and sustainability. The challenges encountered included student resistance stemming from exclusive religious mindsets, lecturer capacity, and limited local references. However, collaboration with religious institutions and indigenous communities presented a strategic opportunity to overcome these challenges. Originality / Value-This study recommends the development of local case-based learning modules to strengthen the relevance and effectiveness of integrating these values in shaping responsible citizens.
