Abstract

A good learning process must begin with planning in advance. in the learning process it must be done as attractively as possible so that students are motivated and enthusiastic to learn, The transition from the conventional learning process to digital learning provides a significant change, while the purpose of the study is to determine the extent to which the implementation and effectiveness of using spreadsheet learning media in improving student learning outcomes and to find out how much increase in student learning outcomes after learning using spreadsheet learning media. The type of research used is a mixed method with an experimental approach. The data collection technique used is a survey technique, with interview instruments, questionnaires and documentation. from the significance of the table that is 0.05. So that the pretest and posttest value data are normally distributed. To determine the difference in the results of the pretest and posttest, it was continued with a paired sample T test using the SPSS version 22.0 program with a calculated significance value of 0.000 and to see the effectiveness of using spreadsheet learning media, a statistical test was carried out using the N Gain score test. The results of the study found that the use of spreadsheet learning media was effective in improving learning outcomes with a percent N-Gain score of 47% which was in the medium category (quite effective).

Abstract

Learning is a process and effort to create learning conditions that optimally develop students' skills, interests, and talents so that they can achieve their competencies and goals. The achievement of learning objectives depends on the use of media strategies and the use of media. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of using E-Senbud as a learning medium to increase student learning productivity at SMAN 1 Sumbawa Besar. Collecting data using questionnaires and field observations on a sample of 100 students. The type of research used by the researcher is qualitative research with descriptive research characteristics. The results of the feasibility and effectiveness aspects of the test by material experts obtained an average score of 94,13%, the linguists obtained a percentage score of 90,00%, and the results of the assessment according to student responses obtained an average score of 96.00% with very feasible criteria. So it can be concluded that the use of E-Senbud learning media in cultural arts subjects is very effective in increasing the learning productivity of SMAN 1 Sumbawa Besar students.

Abstract

The research aimed at determining the fulfillment of the Quality Management System (QMS) standard atPDAM Lombok Timur based on ISO 9001:2015. The research wasconducted as field research by collecting information or data directly about the existing facts in the field relating to research problems. Related data to QMSimplementation based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard was collected using a document checklist system and supported by interviews and observations of informants followed by triangulation. The research used qualitative approach analysing. Application of Gap Analysis in Evaluating the Implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard lead to the finding that PDAM Lombok Timur has not utilized ISO 9001:2015 as a QMS standard but several clauses in ISO 9001:2015 have been implemented. The clauses that need to be maintained are Scope, Development, Performance Evaluation and Organizational Context. While the Clauses of Terms and Definitions, Leadership, Operations and Planning are still to be developed. Meanwhile, the Normative Reference clauses and Support should be provided and improved. PDAM Lombok Timur may develop a QMS that refers to ISO 9001:2015, obtaining ISO guidance, develop a corporate learning culture and collaborate on GCG and ISO systems according to SMM company standards for advanced

Abstract

This research was backgrounded by observational data of students with low levels of social intelligence in class XI IIS SMAN 3 Sumbawa Besar. To respond to this, the author carried out quantitative descriptive research aimed at improving social intelligence through the application of the sociodrama method, while the purpose of the study was How effective the application of the sociodrama method was to increase the social intelligence of students at SMA N 3 Sumbawa Besar.  The research method used is descriptive quantitative, using quasi-experimental design in the form of control group design. Data analysis in this study performed using SPSS version 22.0 by conducting a normality test first using the kolmogrov smirnov test with data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations and documentation. According to the descriptive analysis, the mean pre-and post-test scores were 104.91 and 121.87, respectively, and the mean percentage of student learning activity was 65.90%. This number demonstrates that students' social intelligence increases significantly after employing the sociodrama method. Changes in the attitude of students who concentrate more while studying, are neater, respect the opinions of others, are more creative and innovative, are more responsible, and talk appropriately and courteously indicate an increase in intelligence.

Abstract

This research is concerned with Improving Students’ Ability in Writing Recount Text through Multimodal Learning Management [MLM]. This research is conducted by adopting qualitative and quantitative designs. Specifically, the researcher adopts experimental research under the quantitative design. The respondents of this research are 64 students at Junior High School of Sumbawa in the Academic Year 2020/2021. The research instrument used in collecting qualitative data is a questionnaire, and in collecting quantitative data is a test. The research results show that 1. Most of the students are more active and enthusiastic during the process of teaching and learning when the media is applied, 2. The students’ writing score test increases after being taught with multimodal learning management and also have good responses toward the learning teaching process, and 3. The students’ mean score of pre-test is 68.72 and post-test is 86.22 in experimental class. Meanwhile, the students’ mean score of pre-test is 63.75 and post-test is 76.03 in control class. There is significant increase of the student’s score in the post-test of experimental compared to the students’ score in the control class. Therefore, it is concluded that MLM can improve students’ writing recount text.

Abstract

The governor has determined that regional libraries can be used as centers for digitalization programs for the community. The purpose of this study was to find out: Is there any influence between digital literacy on smartphones in increasing student motivation and learning activities and is there any influence between motivations in increasing student learning activities. This research is quantitative.The technique of sampling used purposive sampling with the Slovin formula. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and unstructured interviews, analysis of research data using multiple linear regressions, T-test, with SPSS version 26. The results showed: (1) t-count value < t table (0.980 < 1.6671 ), sig value 0.330 > 0.05, H0 is rejected, (2) t-count value > t-table value (5.964 > 1.6671) sig value 0.000 <0.005 and (3) (6.930 > 1.66571) and Sig arithmetic < Sig table (0.000 < 0.05) means that H1 is accepted, Y = 6.709 + 0.202 X1 +0.504 X2, and the results of the Determination Correlation Test (R2) or the Adjusted R Square value of 0.681 mean the independent variables are digital literacy on smartphones and student learning motivation has an influence of 68.10% on student learning activities, the remaining 31.90% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Industri konstruksi dinilai memiliki daya saing yang lemah dan hampir tidak ada kreatifitas dan inovasi. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti bermaksud untuk menganalisis strategi inovasi serta pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja operasional karyawan. Objek dalam penelitian adalah perusahaan konstruksi di bidang Mechanical Engineering yang bernama PT. PAS INDONESIA TIMUR. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh orientasi kepemimpinan, inovasi produk, implementasi inovasi terhadap kinerja operasional PT. PAS Indonesia Timur. Menggunakan metode Multiple Regression Analysis dengan pendekatan skala Likert dan IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan orientasi kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja operasional karyawan. Adapun inovasi produk memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja operasional karyawan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji-t pada inovasi produk terhadap kinerja operasional. Sedangkan implementasi inovasi juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja operasional karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi komunikasi politik terhadap partisipasi politik denngan perilaku pemilih sebagai variabel moderasi pada Pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Nusa Tenggara Barat 2018 silam. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden yang merupakan masyarakat Sumbawa Besar yang ikut dan turut aktif dalam pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur NTB 2018 silam. Uji Validitas dan Uji Reliabilitas yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis data yang dikenal dengan Partial Least Square (PLS), PLS merupakan persamaan yang termasuk ke dalam bidang Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Komunikasi Politik dengan Perilaku pemilih berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Partisipasi Politik. Artinya pengaruh positif berarti Perilaku Pemilih yang berorientasi pada sikap rasional cenderung akan menimbulkan dan meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat dan sebaliknya, selain itu hasil dari penelitian juga mendukung penggunaan teori kontijensi (Contigency Theory), dimana Perilaku Pemilih sebagai variabel situasional mampu memberikan mempengaruhi (memperkuat) hubungan antara Komunikasi Politik terhadap Partisipasi Politik. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan kepada masyarakat Kota Sumbawa Besar agar lebih meningkatkan lagi tingkat partisipasinya dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan kepala daerah, terutama dengan mengikuti kampanye politik para calon kepala daerah agar masyarakat dapat lebih mengenal dan memahami visi, misi serta program kerja calon kepala daerah yang akan di pilihnya nanti.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM Pendampingan Belajar Bahasa Inggris bagi siswa SDN Empan diadakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan berbahasa Inggris siswa di SDN Empan yang terletak di Desa Labuhan Badas, Kecamatan Labuhan Badas, Kabupaten Sumbawa. SDN ini terletak 13 KM dari pusat kota Kabupaten Sumbawa. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah: Tidak ada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di SD Empan, dan 2) Tidak ada tempat yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa di sekolah untuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bahasa Inggris. Oleh karena itu, solusi yang diberikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan diatas adalah; 1) Memberikan pengenalan dan pengajaran tentang kosa kata bahasa Inggris dalam bentuk bantuan belajar bagi siswa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam bahasa Inggris, dan 2) Mendirikan Klub Ekstrakurikuler Bahasa Inggris bagi siswa untuk berlatih dan memperdalam pemahaman serta keterampilan siswa mitra tentang bahasa Inggris. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama dua bulan dan meliputi tahapan; 1) Persiapan, 2) Pelaksanaan Kegiatan; pelaksanaan program ini melibatkan kerjasama dua dosen dari kampus yang berbeda, 2) mahasiswa, dan sekolah mitra (SD Negeri Empan), 3) Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pemberian salam ujian lisan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan, dan 4) Kelanjutan Program dengan pembentukan Ekstrakurikuler English Club. Luaran yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan PKM Bantuan Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris siswa SD Negeri Empan terdiri dari dua luaran, yaitu luaran wajib dan luaran tambahan. Keluaran wajibnya adalah 1) publikasi di jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi, dan luaran tambahannya adalah 1) meningkatkan kemampuan kosa kata bahasa Inggris dasar siswa dan 2) membentuk Klub Ekstrakurikuler Bahasa Inggris bagi siswa SD Negeri Empan.

Abstract

This program aims to provide experience, information and new knowledge related to the use of basic English during marketing results by the Gita Tambora Tourism Ambassador UMKM sector group, in Dusun Pamulung. The institutions participating in the community service activities are the Kencana Beach Cottages Travel Agency, the Postgraduate School of the Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS), the Sumbawa Islamic College (STAIS), and the UMKM Group Gita Tambora Tourism Ambassador with assistance for a certain period. The activity was carried out 5 February 2023, 24 February 2023 and 10 March 2023. There were five stages, namely; 1) survey activities; 2) interviewing; 3) setting up the sales area; 4) providing basic English communication; and 5) getting ready to serve guests. The results of these activities are: 1) travel agencies gain the trust of the tourism market; 2) Lecturers and students can implement their knowledge and experience; and 3) MSME groups can increase new knowledge regarding how to communicate using basic English with foreign guests. In addition, it will be increasing the economic value from sales suvenirs they sell.
