Abstract

The realm of domestication of women still continues to leave studies through the study of gender studies in perspective. in line with this, sharia economics is still not present in the study of implementative studies, especially related to the economic activities of Muslim women. The presence of elections as part of this is in line with efforts to improve equality and justice between men and women in the public sphere. This study emphasizes their economic activities in the midst of Indonesia's political events that have escaped from various previous studies. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data sources from various conversations in online media and relevant literature. The results show that women who are active in Islamic economics in the 2019 elections by calling the emak emak group and the Srikandi group and continue with these terms in the 2024 elections rely on the concept of maslhahah as a form of responsive participation for the success of the struggle in the public sphere as well as to help their respective family economies. This paper concludes that the economic activities of emak emak and Srikandi by building on Islamic values make an important contribution to increasing the number of women's votes included in the list of legislative candidates in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores how millennials debate culinary businesses, focusing on consumer tastes, brand aesthetics, and halal certification. The basic assumption is that the “halal logo” for the community is not a standard for the business. The method used in this study uses the library research method. The main issues in the study of food business issues to obtain halal certification and the issue of debate among the millennial generation.  Stages in data collection techniques are Inventory, Critical Evaluation and Synthesis. The data that has been collected is analyzed descriptively by general data to specific data so as to find conclusions that can become recommendations. The study found that while branding isn't part of the halal assessment, it strongly connects to Indonesia's majority Muslim community. Although including halal products, the basic ingredients of these products are not easy to produce at will. When halal food is stored in one place with haram food, it will cause the food to be contaminated, such as chicken stored in the same place as pork. From the same side, the obligation of halal certification is carried out as a form of state effort in providing security for its citizens in consuming food. Between the two understandings, literacy is needed for the millennial generation where certification and labeling of halal products based on protection, fair value, definite legal value, responsibility and openness, effective and efficient, and competent have implications for public comfort in consuming food for food that is proven to be halal. Millennials are becoming aware that brands with elements seen as forbidden can face public scrutiny, impacting their products. This often leads to short-lived success, with businesses fading away and ultimately financial loss.

Abstract

Abstract: Metaverse is a digital space that merges the physical and virtual worlds, offering economic opportunities through various digital assets, including cryptocurrency, NFTs, and virtual properties. However, while offering significant potential in the digital economy, the metaverse presents challenges related to the application of Islamic economic law principles. This article aims to analyze wealth acquisition in the metaverse from the perspective of Islamic economics, focusing on the challenges and opportunities of integrating Islamic principles in this virtual world. The research employs a qualitative method with a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach to analyze the application of Islamic law principles in digital transactions within the metaverse. The findings of this study indicate that, while the Metaverse offers opportunities for digital wealth creation, there are significant challenges in applying the principles of Islamic economic law. Key challenges identified include legal uncertainty regarding the status of digital assets such as NFTs and cryptocurrency, as well as excessive speculation leading to gharār (uncertainty) and maysir (gambling) in transactions. The study also highlights the unequal distribution of wealth in the Metaverse, which poses a risk to the principle of justice in Islamic economics. Therefore, it is crucial to develop Sharia-based regulations that can govern digital transactions in the Metaverse in a fair and transparent manner. The development of Sharia-compliant cryptocurrency and the implementation of blockchain technology to enhance transaction transparency are essential steps in creating a more just and responsible digital economic system.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Financial institutions are an example of how Islamic economics is used, which forbids the use of interest or usury systems in the economy since they are seen as usury, which is against religious law. This is particularly true of the banking industry. However, a lot of people are still unaware of Indonesian Islamic banking, particularly among schoolchildren. Students at At-Tibyan Integrated Islamic High School appear to exhibit this phenomena as well. Some of them are completely unaware of the existence of Islamic banks, while others do not even have a basic understanding of financial organizations. This activity aims to educate students at At-Tibyan Integrated Islamic High School about financial institutions, namely Islamic banks and Islamic financial institutions, and to enhance their ability to apply the theory and information they have learned. The approach used in this socialization exercise is closely related to the community education (popular education) approach, which entails service projects meant to enhance the community's resources and capacities or to learn alongside it. This approach to community education involves the active participation of all participants in the training process and is structured around a pattern of explicit instruction, direct teaching, and question and answer sessions. It is supplemented by a simulation method that involves direct practice with material related to financial institutions. Students at At-Tibyan Integrated Islamic High School are projected to have an influence on the future expansion of the Sharia financial industry as a result of this socialization program, which has increased their awareness of conventional financial institutions.
