Abstract

Competitiveness of Bali tourism lays on the variety of attractions offered to visitors. Subak-based agritourism in Jatiluwih is one of the competitiveness of cultural based of Bali tourism which offer an amazing rice field terrace and variety of agritourism activities. Understanding the role of brand destination in influencing satisfaction of visitors is very important. Evaluating relationship between satisfaction and intention to be loyal are crucial. The research objectives were: (i) to analyze the influence of brand awareness, brand image and brand association of Jatiluwih agritourism to perceive quality (satisfaction) of foreign tourists in visiting Jatiluwih, and (ii) to evaluate relationship between satisfaction of foreign tourist to their loyalty. Research was conducted at Jatiluwih of Bali Province in the periods of June up to August 2016. The number of respondents was 207 foreign tourists who were visiting Jatiluwih. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was developed and data was analyzed by using Smart PLS-3 based on the five-point Likert scale. The results show that (i) brand awareness, brand images and brand association of subak-based agritourism in Jatiluwih significantly influenced satisfaction of foreign tourist, (ii) satisfaction of foreign tourist significantly influenced their loyalty, (iii) Awareness to a brand, create images to a brand and can associate a brand before visiting a destination have proved that brand destination of Jatiluwih have been an informational signal for visitors who intent to visit Jatiluwih agritourism in Bali.

Abstract

Sebagian besar data indikator makroekonomi merupakan data deret waktu yang umumnya diprediksi menggunakan model runtun waktu yang dikelompokkan ke dalam kelas pemodelan stokastik atau menggunakan model-model pemulus. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk melihat kemampuan pemodelan fuzzy yang tergolong ke dalam soft modeling pada kasus data makroekonomi Provinsi Bali pada periode tahun 1990 2013. Indikator makroekonomi yang diprediksi adalah Pendapatan Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB), Konsumsi, Pembentukan Modal Tetap Domestik Bruto (PMTDB), dan Ekspor Neto Provinsi Bali pada periode tersebut. Kelas pemodelan fuzzy yang digunakan adalah model Fuzzy Time Series (FTS) orde satu dengan fungsi keanggotaan yang dipilih adalah fungsi keanggotaan segitiga fuzzy (fuzzy triangular number). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model FTS memberikan tingkat keakurasian prediksi yang tinggi, terlihat dari nilai Average Forecasting Error Rate (AFER) yang rendah. Nilai-nilai AFER untuk prediksi out-of-sample dari indikator PDRB, Konsumsi, dan PMTDB masing-masing sebesar 0,20 persen; 2,15 persen; dan 1,08 persen. Komparasi model FTS dalam memprediksi PDRB dengan formula makroekonomi untuk menghitung PDRB menunjukkan model FTS mengungguli formula makroekonomi dengan nilai AFER model FTS sebesar 0,20 persen sedangkan formula makroekonomi memberikan nilai AFER sebesar 4,00 persen.Kata kunci: AFER, fuzzy modelling, fuzzy time series, model makroekonomiAbstractMost of macroeconomic indicators are time series data. In general, time series data were predicted by using time series models which are classified into stochastic model or by applying exponential model. This research aimed to elaborate the performance of fuzzy modeling which is grouped into soft modeling in predicting the macroeconomic indicators for period 1990 2013 of Bali Province. The predicted indicators were Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Consumption, Gross Domestic Investment (GDI) and Net Export of Bali Province for that period. We applied first order Fuzzy Time Series (FTS) with membership function had been chosen is Fuzzy Triangular Number (FTN). The result showed FTS model gave high prediction rate, observed from its Average Forecasting Error Rate (AFER). The values for GDP, Consumption, and GDI were 0.20 percent, 2.15 percent, and 1.08 percent, respectively. In addition, for out-of-sample forecast of GDP, FTS outperformed classical macroeconomic formula for counting it with AFER as much as 0.20 percent while the formula had 4.00 percent.Keywords: AFER, fuzzy modelling, Fuzzy Time Series, macroeconomic model

Abstract

Representasi perempuan dalam legislatif sangatlah penting, keberadaan legislator perempuan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan peran perempuan dalam kebijakan publik seperti pengentasan kemiskinan, kemajuan pendidikan, dan dibidang kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana persepsi pemilih pemula terhadap partisipasi perempuan dalam pemilihan legislatif 2019. Data penelitian berupa data primer dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 300 responden pemilih pemula di Denpasar dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi logistic biner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 300 responden 235 tidak setuju dengan kandidat perempuan, hanya 65 yang memilih kandidat perempuan. Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap cara berpikir responden dalam memilih caleg adalah pendidikan dan keaktifan dalam berorganisasi.

Abstract

Infidelity can have an impact on married life, some examples of which are less harmonious relationships with partners, and divorce. Infidelity is a sexual and emotional activity carried out by one or both individuals bound by a committed relationship. This study aims to determine the causative factors of infidelity and the causative factors that dominate infidelity. The method used in this research is structural equation modeling partial least square (SEM-PLS). The place where this research was conducted is in Denpasar City with a research period of October to November 2021. Data were obtained based on a questionnaire in the form of responses from married residents to the factors causing infidelity. The questionnaires were distributed as many as 130 questionnaires. This study obtained the results that the factors that cause infidelity are sexual factors, emotional factors, love factors, and social factors. Infidelity occurs dominated by emotional factors, namely the lack of attention from partners.

Abstract

Traditionally, promotion and the image of a business are believed to be the determinants of customer loyalty with trust acting as a mediator in the relationship that occurs. This article aims to determine the role of training participants' trust in the Course and Training Institute (LKP) on their loyalty to the institution as an influence of the promotion and image of the training institution that was built. With a survey approach, 300 participants in the Bali Gianyar LKP Overseas Training Center (OTC) training were chosen randomly as respondents. Structural equation model (SEM) was used to examine the model by showing the results of a positive and significant direct effect of promotion and image on the trust of the trainees with path coefficient values of 0.305 and 0.583, respectively. Variables that affect the loyalty of trainees, only the image that is proven to significantly affect loyalty with a path coefficient of 0.357, smaller than the effect of the training participants' trust of 0.495 which also proved significant. Through the mediation of the trust variable, the insignificant effect of promotion on trainee loyalty turned into a significant influence with a coefficient of 0.151.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an important aspect in developing tourist villages. This is because the development of tourist villages uses a lot of resources owned by the community. The community has an important role in supporting the success of tourism village development so that powerless communities need to be empowered to create independence and economic prosperity for the community. This type of research is qualitative research using data collection techniques, namely interviews, documentation, observation, focus group discussions and literature studies. Interviews are a data collection method with both direct and indirect data sources. This study examines tourism potential, the role of the community and how to empower the community. Data sources were obtained from the head of Bayan Village, the head of the tourism awareness group, traditional leaders of Bayan Village and the community in Bayan Village to serve as sources. The village can be used as a tourist attraction so that it can invite tourists to come to the Bayan Tourism Village. The existence of this tourist village can increase income opportunities for the community and reduce unemployment. Empowerment is carried out by providing training to the Bayan village community about tourism so that they can take advantage of the opportunities that exist in the Bayan tourist village and can create their own employment opportunities. Having a tourist village can empower the community in Bayan Village, North Lombok Regency.

Abstract

Technological advances affect human life, one of which is in the field of trade, namely the existence of an online buying and selling system through e-commerce. The results of research conducted by Ipsos at the end of 2021 on the competition of several e-commerce proved that Shopee is the most popular and widely used e-commerce by the people of Indonesia. This is evident from the quality of Shopee services considered good by consumers so that increase consumer interest and motivation to shop at Shopee and consumer loyalty to Shopee. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether there is an influence of Shopee service quality on shopping motivation and consumer loyalty. To answer the purpose of this study, a hierarchical structural equation modeling (SEM) method was used. Based on the design of the research model and the results of the structural model analysis in the study, it was proven that the service quality construct can explain the shopping motivation construct by 46,3%, while the service quality construct can explain the consumer loyalty construct by 36,5%. Thus, it can be concluded that the quality of service affects shopping motivation and consumer loyalty.

Abstract

Image classification is widely used in everyday life such as in car steering, closed-circuit television (CCTV), traffic cameras, etc. The implementation of image classification can be done using several methods, including neural network and support vector machine models. The neural network method is able to find the right weights that allow the network to show the desired behaviour while the support vector machine method has many dimensions and can overcome linear and non-linear data. In this research, feature extraction was carried out using VGG16 to increase accuracy. This research aims to find out how to implement the neural network and SVM algorithms to classify images and determine the results of analyzing the performance of the two methods. The data used in this study is secondary data consisting of 10 types of large wild cats with a total of 2339 training image datasets and 50 testing image datasets. The research stages consist of data augmentation, model design, model training, and model evaluation. Classification with the neural network model produced an accuracy of 96% and the support vector machine model produced an accuracy of 96%, which means that in a consistent training environment, the two models have the same performance.

Abstract

Wakatobi is one of the tourist destinations renowned for its underwater beauty, holding great potential to be developed as a sustainable tourism destination. This research aims to determine the priorities for sustainable tourism development in Wakatobi using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The AHP method is employed to identify and prioritize various criteria and sub-criteria contributing to sustainable tourism development. Based on the research findings, infrastructure and facilities were found to be the highest priorities, with a focus on improving transportation infrastructure and public facilities. These findings indicate that the development of transportation infrastructure and public facilities is crucial to support the sustainability of tourism in Wakatobi.

Abstract

Kebakaran hutan, gambut, wilayah pertanian, maupun wilayah urban dan industri menjadi salah satu ancaman terbesar bagi lingkungan, menyebabkan kerusakan ekosistem dan kerugian ekonomi yang signifikan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan optimalisasi pengelompokkan titik api di Indonesia sebagai salah upaya pencegahan kebakaran dengan menggunakan algoritma Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN). Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian mencakup pemrosesan data, pemilihan parameter tuning algoritma, dan evaluasi hasil klaster menggunakan metrik validasi internal yaitu Silhouette Coefficient (SC). Data penelitian diambil dari web FIRMS NASA berjumlah 12.708, dengan variabel yang digunakan yaitu longitude, latitude, bright_t31, brightness, fire radiative power, scan, dan track. Pada tahap pemrosesan dilakukan pembersihan dan standarisasi data memakai algoritma z-score. Selanjutnya percobaan klasterisasi dijalankan dengan mengubah-ubah nilai pada parameter epsilon (eps) sebesar 0.2, 2, 3, 4, 5, dan 10, yang dikombinasikan dengan nilai minimal point (MinPts) dari 2 sampai dengan 6.  Hasil pengelompokkan optimal yang ditemukan adalah pada saat percobaan dengan nilai eps 4 dan MinPts 4. Kondisi optimal tersebut menghasilkan 2 klaster dan 3 noise, dengan nilai SC sebesar 0.8022. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru dalam pemetaan risiko kebakaran serta dapat digunakan untuk sistem pemantauan berbasis kecerdasan buatan.
