Abstract

Bali memiliki banyak usaha yang bergerak pada bidang jasa perhotelan dan mayoritas masyarakatnya bekerja pada bidang pariwisata, Maka dari itu, hotel perlu memperhatikan kinerja sumber daya manusianya untuk selalu meningkatkan kualitas perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji peran motivasi memediasi pengaruh pelatihan dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan. Teori dasar yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan model konseptual dalam penelitian ini adalah teori kebutuhan Maslow's. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Risata Bali Resort and Spa. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang berstatus tetap dengan jumlah 76 karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) dan uji sobel. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, pelatihan, pengembangan karir dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta motivasi kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh pelatihan dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kinerja karyawan dapat ditingkatkan dengan mengoptimalkan pelatihan dan pengembangan karir sehingga meningkatkan motivasi serta kinerja karyawan. Bali has many businesses engaged in hospitality services and the majority of people work in tourism, therefore, hotels need to pay attention to the performance of their human resources to always improve the quality of the company. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of motivation in mediating the effect of training and career development on employee performance. The basic theory used to explain the conceptual model in this study is Maslow's needs theory. This research was conducted at Risata Bali Resort and Spa. Respondents in this study were all employees with permanent status with a total of 76 employees. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews. The techniques used in this research are path analysis and sobel test. The results of data analysis show that training and career development have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, training, career development and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work motivation is able to mediate the effect of training and career development on employee performance. Employee performance can be improved by optimizing training and career development so as to increase employee motivation and performance.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan persaingan di era globalisasi membuat karyawan diharuskan bekerja lebih ekstra dan juga bekerja lebih giat demi mencapai tujuan organisasi dan demi menempatkan organisasi tersebut di dalam posisi yang dapat bersaing. Timbul suatu ketidakseimbangan dalam work – life balance, rasa tidak puas dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan, dan tekanan dalam bekerja yang menimbulkan stres kerja yang dapat menurunkan kinerja pegawai. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh work – life balance, kepuasan kerja, dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Denpasar dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 125 orang pegawai yang terdiri dari 49 pegawai ASN dan 76 pegawai Non – ASN dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work – life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Implikasi secara teoritis berdasarkan teori Hierarki Kebutuhan Abraham Malow, menunjukkan bahwa work – life balance merupakan aspek keseimbangan yang dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan sosial manusia, Kepuasan kerja menunjukkan dapat memenuhi seluruh kebutuhan dari teori tersebut, dan stres kerja merupkaan bentuk gagalnya pegawai dalam menghadapi tekanan dan dalam mengatur waktunya. Implikasi secara praktis dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan dan masukan bagi manajemen kepala Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Kota Denpasar dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dengan mempertimbangkan work - life balance, kepuasan kerja, stres kerja. The rapid development of competition in the era of globalization makes employees required to work more and also work harder to achieve organizational goals and to place the organization in a competitive position. An imbalance arises in the work-life balance, a feeling of dissatisfaction in completing work, and pressure at work which causes work stress which can reduce employee performance. The purpose of this study was to test empirically the effect of work-life balance, job satisfaction, and work stress on employee performance. This research was conducted at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Denpasar with a total sample of 125 employees which consist of 49 contracted employees and 76 non contracted employee using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the study show that work - life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work stress has a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Theoretical implications based on Abraham Malow's Hierarchy of Needs theory, show that work - life balance is an aspect of balance needed in human social activities, job satisfaction shows being able to fulfill all the needs of the theory, and work stress is a form of employee failure in dealing with pressure and in managing time. Practical implications can be taken into consideration and input for the head management Department of Population and Civil Registration of Denpasar in improving employee performance by considering work - life balance, job satisfaction, work stress.

Abstract

Sikap seorang karyawan terhadap pekerjaan yang diberikan atau dilakukan akan ditunjukkan dalam kepuasan kerja. Karyawan yang merasa puas terhadap pekerjaannya akan memiliki kinberja yang baik dan bekerja untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Kepuasan kerja dapat dipengarui oleh kompensasi finansial dan pengembangan karir. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi finansial dan pengembangan karir terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 57 orang karyawan Best Hotel Western Kamala Jimbaran dengan menggunakan metode sensus. Data yang terkumpul melalui penyebaran kuisioner selanjutnya diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya untuk kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis regresi linear berganda untuk menajwab hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan secara parsial kompensasi finansial dan pengembangan karir berppengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Kata kunci: kompensasi finansial, pengembangan karir, kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

Employee well-being is a feeling of being appreciated by the company for their contribution which can increase employee dedication and performance. This study is to examine how employee engagement mediates the impact of perceived organizational support on employee well-being. 53 employees participated in the study, which was carried out at PT. BPR Bali Dananiaga using the census method. Data was gathered by means of surveys and interviews. Path analysis using SPSS version 25.0 was the data analysis method employed. The study's findings suggest that employee well-being is positively and significantly impacted by perceived organizational support. Employee well-being is positively and significantly impacted by employee engagement. Employee engagement is positively and significantly impacted by perceived organizational support. The relationship between perceived organizational support and employee well-being is somewhat mediated by employee engagement. This study strengthens Social Exchange Theory and can be an evaluation material for PT. BPR Bali Dananiaga in overcoming employee well-being problems.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to elucidate the mediating effect of satisfaction on the relationship between e-service quality, utilitarian value, sales promotion, and the intention to reuse online food delivery services. The research population comprises individuals who utilize online meal delivery services in Denpasar City, with an undisclosed quantity. A purposive sampling strategy was employed to select a sample size of 210 individuals. The employed analytical methodology involves the utilization of Path Analysis through Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings of the study indicate that e-service quality, utilitarian value, and sales promotions exert a favorable and statistically significant impact on both consumer happiness and the desire to reuse online food delivery services. Similarly, it may be observed that satisfaction plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between e-service quality, utilitarian value, sales promotion, and reuse intentions. Hence, it is essential for service providers to continually enhance the quality of e-service quality, utilitarian value, and sales promotions to augment consumer satisfaction and foster the intention to reuse online meal delivery services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workload on work stress and work life balance among employees of PT. Hatten Bali Tbk Distribution Division, as well as to examine the mediating role of work life balance in this relationship. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. All employees of the distribution division, totaling 36 people, were used as respondents through the census method. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed using path analysis with IBM SPSS. The results show that workload has a positive and significant effect on work stress, and has a negative and significant effect on work life balance. Work life balance has a negative and significant effect on work stress and is proven to mediate the effect of workload on work stress. These findings indicate that proper workload management and the creation of balance between work life and personal life are crucial to reduce employee work stress and improve their well-being.
