Abstract

The The purpose of this research is to find out the problems of implementing mathematics learning in class V to X Simawang, Rambatan District. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study research type. The first data collection technique is through observation, the second is interview and the third is documentation with the aim of obtaining information directly from teachers and students regarding the problems that arise in the implementation of learning mathematics. The data collected was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which consisted of three steps, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions. So that researchers can find various problems found in the field regarding the problems of implementing mathematics learning including, students do not understand and do not make assignments, students think that mathematics is difficult and makes them dizzy, there is no media during the learning process, students do not pay attention to teachers, teachers only use conventional learning approaches. So that the data that the researchers found was tested, the researchers carried out techniques to guarantee the validity of the data.

Abstract

The low motivation to learn mathematics students is a problem that must be solved. This study aims to describe the factors causing the low motivation to learn mathematics for grade IV students of SDN 12 Andaleh Baruh Bukit. Researchers use qualitative descriptive research designs with case studies. The informants of this study are teachers and students of grade IV. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. The instrument of this study is the researcher himself, in the implementation assisted by interview guidelines, observations, and recording devices. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis uses a Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data display, and inference. The validity of the data is carried out by triangulation techniques. The results of this study show that the factors causing the low motivation to learn students in the mathematics learning process in grade IV are: 1) students' ability to memorize multiplication and most students who forget multiplication of 10 students; and 2) teachers as educators use special techniques to raise enthusiasm for learning. The efforts made by grade IV teachers to increase student learning motivation are to use finger techniques.

Abstract

Making teaching modules that are effective and in accordance with the Independent Curriculum is important so that the learning process can run well. This study aims to analyze the level of understanding of semester 6 PGMI teacher candidates in making teaching modules for. The research method used was descriptive research, with a number of 6th semester PGMI teacher candidates as participants. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires and structured interviews to randomly selected participants. Questionnaires and interviews focused on the prospective teacher's understanding of the principles of the Mardeka Curriculum. The results showed that most of the 6th semester PGMI teacher candidates had an adequate understanding of the principles of the Mardeka Curriculum. However, their ability to design teaching modules still needs to be improved. Some of the obstacles faced by prospective teachers in making modules include a lack of knowledge about learning techniques that are in accordance with the Mardeka Curriculum, limited resources, and a lack of training in developing teaching modules. Based on these findings, it is suggested that there is an increase in training and mentoring of 6th semester PGMI teacher candidates in making teaching modules that are in accordance with the Mardeka Curriculum. In addition, it is also necessary to increase the available resources to support the process of making effective teaching modules. Thus, it is hoped that the 6th semester PGMI teacher candidates can develop relevant and high-quality teaching modules in the implementation of the Mardeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The large number of students who experience difficulties in understanding reading texts reflects challenges in education that require more attention to the development of reading comprehension skills among students. Therefore, the aim of this research is to describe teachers' efforts to Improve Elementary School Students' Reading Comprehension Ability in Indonesian Language Learning. The research method used is a qualitative method with the type of research used is a case study. The informants in this research were 2 grade 5 (fifth) elementary school teachers and grade 5 (fifth) elementary school students who were selected based on purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. To ensure the validity of the data, this research uses data triangulation techniques. The study's findings indicate that teachers can assist students in grade 5 in primary school improve their reading comprehension skills by using books to teach additional literacy within the first 10 minutes before learning begins.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulties of prospective MI/SD teachers in Tanah Datar District in developing digital-based learning media. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were prospective MI/SD teachers in Tanah Datar District using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used was in the form of questions contained in Google Forms, with 5 questions answered by 163 prospective MI/SD teachers in Tanah Datar District. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research findings obtained indicate that prospective MI/SD teachers experience difficulties in developing digital-based learning media with several causes including 1) the low understanding of prospective MI/SD teachers in developing digital-based media is due to the lack of training regarding the development of digital-based learning media 2) prospective MI/SD teachers have difficulty studying material which tends to be long to be loaded into digital-based learning media and 3) time constraints in media development.

Abstract

The historical past of this research is one of the trainer's strategies to improve simple college students' studying capabilities. This takes a look at ambitions to explain the trainer's approach to enhancing students' reading talents. This form of research is a qualitative description. Abstract

The low interest of students in learning mathematics is a finding/problem that must be done. This study aims to find out what are the factors causing low student interest in learning mathematics in grade VI at SD Negeri 12 Baruh Bukit. This research activity was carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with the type of research analysis case study (case study), the subjects in this study were class teachers, students VI, and parents of students. The key instrument of this research is the researcher herself, but in practice, the researcher uses tools such as cameras, tape recorders, interview guides, and observation guidelines. The technique used is snowball sampling. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that several factors influence students' interest in learning mathematics, that the factors causing low student interest in learning mathematics are as follows: internal student factors can be shown by 1) student attitudes 2) students' assumptions/considering that learning mathematics is scary, difficult learning. Students do not keep up with developments other than that there are many formulas in learning mathematics and as a result, students' math scores vary (low). Factors causing the lack of interest in student learning also come from external factors, namely environmental factors of students, lack of learning facilities, and lack of attention from parents (family).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan ditemukannya beberapa perilaku negatif yang dilakukan siswa di sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan apa saja yang menjadi faktor penyebab siswa sekolah dasar tersebut berperilaku negatif di sekolah. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Untuk mendapatkan informasi maka informan yang diambil dalam penelitian ini yaitu 2 orang guru kelas, dan orang tua dari siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri, namun dalam pelaksanaannya peneliti menggunakan alat bantu berupa pedoman wawancara, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik yang peneliti gunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, studi lapangan dan studi dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis menurut miles and huberment yaitu terdiri dari reduksi data, display data dan membuat kesimpulan dari data. Untuk dapat menjamin keabsahan data maka peneliti menggunkan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab dari siswa berperilaku negatif di sekolah dasar yaitu pertama lingkungan keluarga, kemudian lingkungan pertemanan dan juga akibat dari penggunaan Hp tanpa pengawasan orang tua.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget dalam waktu yang lama berpengaruh terhadap kepribadian siswa kelas sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis studi kasus dengan subjek penelitian berupa dua guru dan 25 siswa kelas IV yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode Miles and Huberman, melibatkan reduksi data, display data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji melalui teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyak siswa mengalami dampak negatif dari penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan mereka, seperti kurangnya interaksi sosial, lambat dalam pembelajaran, dan kurangnya konsentrasi.
