Abstract

Indonesia has ideal geographical conditions for coffee cultivation. Topographical variations, tropical climate, altitudinal differences, and soil fertility are factors that favor coffee growth. However, challenges include long dry seasons due to climate change, remote mountainous locations, and many farmers still using traditional methods that are less efficient. This research introduces an automation solution that includes soil moisture detection to adjust watering needs, air temperature and humidity monitoring, and soil pH measurement to maintain optimal coffee plant nutrition. The system consists of various main sensors, such as the ESP32 microcontroller, soil moisture sensor, DHT11 temperature sensor, soil pH sensor, and RS485 sensor to measure soil macro nutrient content such as NPK. The system's energy is supplied by solar panels, with internet provided by MiFi Orbit Star. The data collected by the sensors is sent in real-time to the server, then displayed through a web interface, allowing for more efficient remote monitoring of land conditions. The results prove that the application of IoT technology and integrated sensors provides an innovative solution in improving the productivity and operational efficiency of coffee cultivation. The RS485 NPK sensor showed high accuracy with 99.91% for Nitrogen, 99.70% for Phosphorus, and 99.80% for Potassium compared to analog sensors. The implementation of this system not only reduces the need for manual intervention, but also supports sustainable and environmentally-friendly farming practices. The benefits of this system include improved crop quality, more efficient use of resources, as well as more accurate monitoring of farm conditions. Abstract

Indonesia’s geographical conditions are ideal for coffee cultivation, with its tropical climate, fertile soil, and varying elevations. However, challenges such as climate change, remote mountain locations, and less efficient conventional farming methods remain obstacles. This study proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automation system to manage irrigation and soil nutrients for coffee plants in Sukarame Village, Bandung Regency. The solution involves sensors for soil moisture, air temperature, humidity, and soil pH to ensure optimal plant conditions. It utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller, NPK RS485 sensors, and is powered by solar energy with MiFi providing connectivity. Data is transmitted in real-time to a server, enabling remote monitoring. Results demonstrate high sensor accuracy, with 99.91% for Nitrogen, 99.70% for Phosphorus, and 99.80% for Potassium. Implementing this system improves productivity, resource efficiency, and crop quality while supporting sustainable farming practices. Abstract

Aplikasi web sebagai salah satu media digital yang sering menjadi target serangan siber, mengalami sekitar 75% dari total serangan siber. Tahun 2023, sebanyak 30.000 situs web diretas setiap hari, menggarisbawahi kerentanan aplikasi web karena ketersediaannya yang harus konstan bagi pengguna. Salah satu jenis ancaman keamanan aplikasi web adalah adanya request berisi payload berbahaya seperti SQLi dan XSS ke aplikasi web. Jenis ancaman keamanan aplikasi web lainnya adalah DDoS. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, WAF memperoleh skor security quality sebesar 99,6% dan detection quality sebesar 92,3%. Rata-rata throughput tanpa rate limiting adalah 13382.389916 kbits/s, sedangkan rata-rata throughput dengan rate limiting adalah 8004.082379 kbits/s. Rata-rata packet loss tanpa rate limiting adalah 0.191928%, sedangkan rata-rata packet loss dengan rate limiting adalah 0.011805%. Rata-rata delay tanpa rate limiting sebesar 0.000355 s, sedangkan rata-rata delay dengan rate limiting sebesar 0.000284 s. Rata-rata jitter tanpa rate limiting sebesar 0.000012 s, sedangkan rata-rata jitter dengan rate limiting sebesar 0.000020 s. Pada IDS, Snort berhasil mengirimkan pesan peringatan sesuai dengan jenis serangan yang terjadi seperti SQLi, XSS, dan DDoS. Abstract

As the number of vehicles in major cities like Jakarta increases each year, the availability of parking spaces decreases, causing various problems in economic, social, health, and safety aspects. This study explains the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) in a vertical parking model to help optimize parking space. IoT is used to monitor the status of parking slots, whether they are occupied or vacant, and the system can be operated by booking through a website to check available parking slots. Based on test results, the parking lift can lift a 60-gram load to the second floor in 16 seconds and lower the load from the second floor to the first floor in 15 seconds. IoT sensors can detect vehicles in parking slots with a low throughput value of 16.26 bytes/s and 0.00163 kbps. Finally, website testing showed only a delay of 395.8 milliseconds when making reservations. Keywords— Delay, IoT, Lift, Prototype, Parking Lot, Throughput, Website.

Abstract

Tanaman bonsai merupakan salah satu tanaman hias yang diminati. Namun, perawatan bonsai memerlukan perhatian khusus terhadap faktor lingkungan seperti suhu dan kelembapan. Selain itu, terdapat masalah pada perdagangan tanaman hias seperti penipuan dan pemalsuan produk yang kerap terjadi sehingga at mengurangi kepercayaan konsumen. Penelitian ini menawarkan solusi melalui integrasi teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dan blockchain dalam platform e-commerce. Sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan kondisi bonsai secara real-time dengan sensor dan kamera, serta penyimpanan data yang aman dan transparan di blockchain. Teknologi ini memastikan data yang ditampilkan akurat, real-time, dan tidak dapat diubah sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan dalam transaksi jual beli. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem IoT yang dibangun mampu memonitor kondisi lingkungan bonsai dengan akurasi yang baik, serta mengirim data secara stabil dengan throughput antara 382,4 bit/s hingga 386,61 bit/s. Teknologi blockchain mampu diterapkan dalam pengelolaan transaksi dan pengamanan data, diperoleh 3.001.721 unit gas sebagai rata-rata penggunaan menunjukkan bahwa transaksi di jaringan blockchain tersebut adalah transaksi yang cukup terkendali, meskipun memerlukan optimasi lebih lanjut terkait penggunaan gas untuk tipe data tertentu. Abstract

Budidaya burung walet merupakan salah satu sektor peternakan bernilai ekonomi tinggi di Indonesia. Namun, banyak peternak menghadapi tantangan dalam menarik dan mempertahankan populasi burung walet agar bersarang di gedung yang disiapkan. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) guna mendukung sistem pemanggilan dan pengawasan burung walet di Komunitas Tani Sari Karya, Jembrana, Bali. Intervensi dilakukan melalui pemasangan perangkat suara panggilan otomatis, sistem pengatur kelembapan udara, dan pemantauan berbasis CCTV. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa teknologi ini mampu menciptakan kondisi lingkungan yang lebih sesuai bagi burung walet, serta memberikan kemudahan dan efisiensi dalam proses pemantauan bagi peternak. Dampak positif terlihat pada peningkatan kenyamanan habitat, antusiasme peternak terhadap adopsi teknologi, serta potensi keberlanjutan program. Survei dilakukan terhadap seluruh anggota Kelompok Tani Sari Karya (N = 7 orang) setelah implementasi sistem IoT untuk pemanggilan dan pengawasan peternakan burung walet. Hasil survei menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan yang sangat positif terhadap program, baik dari segi materi, pelaksanaan, hingga manfaat teknologi yang diberikan. Mayoritas mitra menganggap teknologi yang diberikan mudah digunakan dan sangat membantu dalam pemantauan peternakan. Terdapat semangat tinggi untuk keberlanjutan program di masa mendatang. Artikel ini membahas secara rinci pelaksanaan, hasil, dan refleksi dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berbasis teknologi tersebut.

Abstract

Pendidikan mengenai kesehatan gigi perlu diajarkan sejak usia dini dikarenakan kebiasaan hidup sehat sejak kecil akan berpengaruh pada saat dewasa. Gigi yang tidak sehat dapat mempengaruhi kondisi ekonomi, hubungan sosial, dan kesehatan tubuh lainnya. Pengetahuan mengenai gigi yang sehat dapat diawali dengan memberikan informasi mengenai makanan perusak dan penunjang kesehatan gigi. Informasi mengenai makanan sehat dan tidak sehat untuk gigi sejauh ini diberikan secara konvensional seperti ceramah dan leaflet. Metode konvensional dirasakan kurang menarik, minim visualisasi dan kurang menantang sehingga anak mudah jenuh dalam memahami informasi yang diberikan. Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu merancang dan membuat sebuah game single player berjudul “Tooth and Fairy” dimana menceritakan petualangan sebuah gigi untuk mengumpulkan skor dengan menghindari serta melawan makanan perusak gigi menggunakan alat pembersih gigi. Game “Tooth and Fairy” dimainkan diperangkat Android  terdiri dari tiga level dimana setiap level memiliki musuh dan tantangan yang semakin meningkat. Metode perancangan dalam pembuatan game menggunakan  System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall dan Game engine yang digunakan yaitu Unity Engine. Pengujian tingkat kelayakan game“Tooth and Fairy” yang dilakukan dalam penelitian terdiri dari pengujian aspek fungsionalitas, realibititas, kompatibilitas, playability dimana diperoleh nilai 98,8%. Hasil pengujian diubah keskala likert dalam arti sangat baik dimana game berjalan tanpa eror, data skor dapat disimpan dalam database, aturan permainan berjalan dengan sangat baik, fitur game serta tombol exit berfungsi dengan sangat baik. AbstractEducation about dental health needs to be taught from an early age because healthy living habits from childhood will affect adulthood. Parents can start knowledge about healthy teeth by providing information about spoilage foods and supporting dental health. Information about healthy and unhealthy food for teeth has been given conventionally, such as lectures and leaflets. Conventional methods are less attractive, have minimal visualization, and less challenging, so that children get bored easily in understanding the information provided. The research conducted by the researcher is to design a single-player game entitled "Tooth and Fairy" and implement it to an Android-based smartphone, at least an Android Jelly Bean device. The game "Tooth and Fairy" tells the adventure of a tooth to collect scores by avoiding and fighting tooth decaying food using a tooth cleaning tool. The game consists of three levels where each level has increasing enemies and challenges. The design method in making games uses the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the game engine used is Unity Engine. Testing the feasibility level of the game "Tooth and Fairy" carried out in the study consisted of testing aspects of functionality, reliability, compatibility, playability obtained a value of 98.8%. The test results are converted to a Likert scale which means very well where the game runs without errors. The database can store score data, game rules run very well, game features and exit buttons function very well.

Currently, agricultural technology is one of thetechnologies that help many people to solve their daily problemsor activity. The data that will be displayed on the website is the datataken by the sensor on the greenbox device, which is stored inthe firebase database, then the user will carry out commandsaccording to the database. Sensors are used to determine thevalue of plant growth parameters. Abstract

Swarm drones are drones that communicate witheach other, the more drones that communicate, the heavier thecommunication network, therefore the aim of this research is tobe able to make light communication between two drones usingthe Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) dataprotocol. This thesis uses NodeMCU tools. The protocol used isMQTT in the use of communication between drones. Because ofthe shortcomings of the HTTP protocol, the MQTT serverprotocol must be implemented to support the development of theIoT platform. MQTT is a lightweight and simple communicationprotocol. The plan outcome is that two drones will be able tocommunicate reliably utilizing the MQTT data protocol. Afterconducting the test, the results of testing network quality with QoSparameters are delay, jitter, packet loss, and throughput. Theaverage delay of MQTT QoS 0 is 0.103 s, MQTT QoS 1 is 0.111s, and HTTP is 0.124 s. HTTP and MQTT QoS 0 get 0% packetloss, while MQTT QoS 1 gets 0.1% packet loss. Throughput on theMQTT protocol is faster than the HTTP protocol. And the networkquality of the MQTT protocol is better than HTTP.Keyword— MQTT,HTTP, IoT, Subscribe, Publish andBroker

Abstract

Pada saat ini, beberapa orang di Indonesia sudahmenggunakan teknologi dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaanmaupun permasalahannya karena terkesan lebih praktis.Bercocok tanam merupakan salah satu hobi masyarakatIndonesia. Akan tetapi, mayoritas masyarakat di Indonesiakhususnya perkotaan lebih banyak bekerja di luar rumah mulaidari pagi hingga sore. Hal ini menimbulkan permasalahan yaitusulitnya memantau dan mengontrol tanaman yang merekarawat di rumah. Tanaman sayur merupakan tanaman yangmemang harus diperhatikan kelembaban tanah dan suhunyasetiap saat. Dengan adanya Internet of Things (IoT) membuatpermasalahan itu dapat diselesaikan. Sehingga, masyarakatbisa dengan mudah melakukan pemantauan dan mengontroltanamannya kapan pun dan dimana pun. Pada penelitian kaliini, penulis mengimplementasikan sistem pemantauan danpengontrolan dengan smart greenbox yang mempermudahmasyarakat perkotaan dalam bercocok tanam di rumah denganpemantauan jarak jauh. Smart Greenbox diisi oleh 2 pottanaman sayuran. Sistem pada smart greenbox ini dirancangdengan menggunakan 3 mikrokontroler berupa ESP32 yangsudah dilengkapi dengan modul Wi-Fi sebagai alat komunikasiantar board mikrokontroler. Kedua pot dihubungkan dengan 2sensor YL-69 yang sudah diintegrasi menjadi 1 board untukmengukur kelembaban tanah. Sedangkan, 2 sensor lainnyayaitu DHT-22 dan BH-1750 untuk mengukur suhu danintensitas cahaya juga sudah diintegrasikan ke dalam boardtadi.Kata kunci— Internet of Things (IoT), TanamanSayur, ESP32, Sensor, Smart Greenbox
