Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the digital literacy and entrepreneurial capacity of youths in Nagari Koto Tuo, Harau District, by introducing a Population Information System and training on Digital Marketing for household products. Through a series of workshops held at the computer laboratory of Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh, participants were taught basic data management, website creation, and strategies for marketing local products through digital platforms. This program provides solutions to the lack of a structured population data system and the limited market reach of household businesses. The outcomes include the development of a prototype village population database system and enhanced participant capability in online marketing.

Abstract

Cloud merupakan suatu teknologi terbaru yang memanfaatkan awan atau internet sebagai media server atau pusat kendali terhadap software-software yang kita gunakan dikehidupan sehari-hari. Selain kita menggunakan media penyimpanan secara eksternal dan internal. Data Digital di era sekarang muncul dengan berbagai fitur yang sangat menarik bagi setiap pengguna teknologi diranah masyarakat, data digital yang mereka simpan pada umumnya misalnya file foto, file softcopy tugas, berkas-berkas penting yang akan mereka gunakan Kembali. Melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan pelatihan bagi pegawai staf wali nagari untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dibidang teknologi informasi Untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat dalam tentang aplikasi Cloud Drive sebagai memori awan. Menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat dalam penggunaan aplikasi Google Cloud dan cara pemanfaatannya. Abstract

Abstract: The implementation of information technology in healthcare services has become a strategic necessity for improving service efficiency and quality, particularly in patient queue management systems. RSIA Batusangkar, a medium-scale hospital, has experienced operational challenges related to manual queue management, including prolonged waiting times, service irregularities, and decreased patient satisfaction. This Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) aimed to optimize the use of information technology through the implementation of a web-based digital queue system integrated with the hospital’s internal service workflow. A participatory, community-driven approach was employed by involving hospital management, service staff, and patients throughout the stages of needs assessment, system design, implementation, and evaluation. The system was developed using the Agile methodology. Evaluation was conducted through quantitative pre- and post-implementation measurements, complemented by qualitative assessments. The results indicate that the digital queue system reduced the average patient waiting time by 44.4%, increased service throughput by approximately 50%, and improved patient satisfaction levels from moderately satisfied to satisfied–highly satisfied. These findings demonstrate that optimizing information technology through a digital queue system effectively enhances operational efficiency and the overall quality of healthcare services. This program is expected to serve as a practical reference model for digital transformation in regional hospital services. Keyword: digital queue system, information technology, service efficiency, hospital services, community service. Abstrak: Penerapan teknologi informasi dalam layanan kesehatan menjadi kebutuhan strategis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pelayanan, khususnya pada sistem antrian pasien di rumah sakit. RSIA Batusangkar sebagai rumah sakit skala menengah masih menghadapi permasalahan antrian manual yang berdampak pada lamanya waktu tunggu, ketidakteraturan layanan, serta menurunnya kepuasan pasien. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi melalui implementasi sistem antrian digital berbasis web yang terintegrasi dengan alur layanan internal rumah sakit. Metode PkM yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis kebutuhan (community-driven), melibatkan manajemen rumah sakit, petugas layanan, serta pasien. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan metodologi Agile, sementara evaluasi dilakukan melalui pengukuran kuantitatif pra dan pasca implementasi serta evaluasi kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem antrian digital mampu menurunkan waktu tunggu pasien rata-rata sebesar 44,4%, meningkatkan throughput pelayanan hingga 50%, serta meningkatkan skor kepuasan pasien dari kategori cukup puas menjadi puas–sangat puas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi teknologi informasi melalui sistem antrian digital efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas layanan kesehatan. Program PkM ini diharapkan menjadi model transformasi digital layanan rumah sakit di daerah. Kata kunci: sistem antrian digital, teknologi informasi, efisiensi layanan, rumah sakit, pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Pengelolaan pengadaan koleksi buku yang tepat menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola keterkaitan peminjaman buku guna memberikan rekomendasi pengadaan koleksi yang lebih efektif dan berbasis data. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data mining dengan algoritma FP-Growth untuk menemukan pola asosiasi antar buku berdasarkan data transaksi peminjaman. Data yang digunakan sebanyak 258 transaksi dengan 49 jenis buku yang diolah menggunakan aplikasi WEKA. Hasil analisis menghasilkan sejumlah aturan asosiasi yang menunjukkan hubungan keterkaitan antar buku dalam satu transaksi. Aturan dengan nilai tertinggi menunjukkan hubungan asosiasi sebesar 60% antara buku “Kisah Nabi untuk Anak” dan “Buku Aktivitas TK”, yang menunjukkan bahwa kedua buku tersebut memiliki kecenderungan tinggi muncul secara bersamaan dalam transaksi. Selain itu, buku “Buku Aktivitas TK”, “Kisah Nabi untuk Anak” dan “Atlas Dunia” merupakan koleksi yang paling dominan muncul dalam pola asosiasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya pola minat baca tertentu pada pengguna perpustakaan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai dasar rekomendasi dalam pengambilan keputusan pengadaan koleksi. Dengan demikian, penerapan algoritma FP-Growth dapat membantu pihak perpustakaan dalam merencanakan pengadaan buku secara lebih efektif, efisien, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

Kebutuhan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan tentang pemrograman komputer semakin mendesak seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat Penguasaan pemrograman komputer dapat membuka peluang karier yang lebih luas serta meningkatkan daya saing mahasiswa yang nantinya menjadi lulusan untuk bersaing di era digital. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan berbagai upaya seperti pelatihan, kursus, dan program pendidikan terus dikembangkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan keterampilan pemrograman yang semakin tinggi. Kegiatan PkM ini telah berhasil memberikan pembekalan dan pendampingan pemrograman python kepada para Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika di UIN Bukittinggi melalui Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Orbit. Penguasaan pemrograman komputer dapat membuka peluang karier yang lebih luas serta meningkatkan daya saing mahasiswa yang nantinya menjadi lulusan untuk bersaing di era digital. Pemrograman komputer yang sangat familiar saat ini adalah pemrograman Python. Untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas workshop dalam PkM ini, dilakukan penilaian terhadap kegiatan yang telah berlangsung dengan menggunakan instrumen angket. Hasil analisis dari angket efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan PkM ini memperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 82,71%, yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Meskipun kegiatan PkM ini telah mendapatkan hasil yang baik berdasarkan penilaian dari para peserta, diperlukan upaya yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pelaksanaan PkM di periode mendatang.

Abstract

Incubation is a crucial process in egg hatching, where eggs must be maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. To ensure the stability of these parameters, a monitoring system is needed one that operates continuously, provides sufficient accuracy, and is easily accessible to users. This study aims to design a Mobile Application for Monitoring Temperature and Humidity in Quail Egg Incubators that is both valid and effective, as a means to enhance and optimize quail egg production. The research follows the Agile Method, consisting of the following phases: Plan, Design, Develop, Test, Deploy, Review, and Launch. The Mobile App for Incubator Monitoring to Optimize Quail Egg Production underwent product testing, including a validity test conducted by several experts in computer and mobile applications. The test resulted in a score of 0.78, which falls into the valid category. The effectiveness test yielded a score of 0.35, indicating a moderate level of effectiveness. The implementation of this monitoring application has shown a significant positive impact on operational efficiency in quail farming, particularly at Nisya Farm. User experience was evaluated through direct observation and interviews with respondents. Overall, users reported that the app is easy to use, thanks to its simple and intuitive interface. User feedback strengthens the argument that technological integration not only brings technical benefits but also boosts farmers’ confidence in managing the incubation process. This is essential, as the success of technology adoption heavily depends on how comfortable and user-friendly it is for its intended users.

Abstract

The faster technological development makes it easier for us to carry out life activities more easily. currently mobile applications have not been used so much in a lecture that an application is needed that can meet these shortcomings. For that I try to model a mobile application that can help lecturers and students in sharing learning material at each meeting so as to facilitate the process of a lecture. Which is based on client server where this application can change its data at any time according to the user's height and will be modeled using the Unifield Modeling Language (UML) tool.

Abstract

Public service is a necessity that can not be negotiated in improving the quality of service every time, every agency or organization that provides public services certainly wants to provide the best service to everyone it serves. At present public services in the village Beringin Taluk Kec. Kuantan Tengah District Kuantan Singingi has done very well but there are some obstacles in terms of public services such as the absence of a safe data storage place so that data is easily lost and damaged. There is no integration between BUMDes in the village so that information cannot be reviewed periodically. There is no integrated media of information or complaints, so people need to come directly to the village office to find information and provide complaints. Modeling an application for cloud computing-based public services has contributed to increasing the achievement of the goals of a village to get to a smart village with an integrated system and facilitate the community to access all needs in terms of information and services.

Abstract

Complementary foods breast milk (MPASI) is a very important thing for growth and development in a baby, to achieve optimal growth and development process, balanced nutrition is needed, even nowadays babies are often stunted or have malnutrition. Good parents, of course, do not just provide complementary foods to their babies but will pay attention to whether or not the MPASI nutrition is given. By modeling an MPASI guide application, it can help parents determine the right nutrition to give to their babies and parents can make the right decisions and find out the nutritional status of their babies. Modeling this application using Unifield Modeling Language (UML) and implemented into the application using Android Studio. From the resulting application model, it can help and provide references to parents in providing balanced nutrition for their babies.
