The Covid-19 pandemic has caused many economic activities and workforce productivity to decline. The tourism sector is a dynamic sector because it can involve many people and revitalize various business fields. Abstract

Direct Village Fund Cash Assistance (BLT DD) is a National Economic Recovery Program (PEN) intended for communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic (Ministry of Finance, 2021). This research is descriptive quantitative research, and the method used in this research is the descriptive statistical analysis method and the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the BLT DD program in and analyze the characteristics of recipients of the BLT program in Krincing Village. The effectiveness measurements used to Makmur, (2011) which determine the success of this program are indicators of timeliness, target accuracy, and achievement of goals. The research results show that the implementation of the village fund policy for the Covid-19 pandemic is running quite effectively, although in its implementation there are several problems such as community confusion in submitting complaints, invalidity of families receiving mandates and the organizers' partiality or subjectives in determining potential recipients of direct assistance. Based on the results of the AHP analysis, the strategy that can be used to increase the effectiveness of the Krincing Village BLT DD program is a policy strategy to achieve objectives.

Abstract

Economic growth is an important indicator for a country's economy. Along with the development of economic activity, it also has an impact on the environment. This is discussed in the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) theory where when per capita income increases, at a certain income level, environmental degradation also decreases. This study uses the Pooled Mean group/ARDL method from 1996 to 2021 in the BRICS country group. The results show that the EKC hypothesis does not hold in the short term, but holds in the long term. The corruption perception index has a positive and insignificant effect in the short term and a positive and significant effect in the long term, the human development index has a negative and insignificant effect in the short term and a negative and significant effect in the long term, finally coal consumption has a positive and significant effect in the short term and in the long term. Suggestions in this study include optimizing carbon taxes for countries that have not implemented them and making industrial business feasibility tests so that there are restrictions related to the waste produced.
