Abstract

Low financial literacy and informal bookkeeping constrain the Mandiri Farmer Group’s enterprise management and access to external financing in Mudung Darat, Maro Sebo, Muaro Jambi. This progress report summarizes a three-week participatory mentoring program that strengthened basic financial capabilities, introduced standardized manual and digital cashbooks, and guided the preparation of simple financial statements. Methods combined interactive lectures, simulations, hands-on transaction recording, and coaching using context-fit templates. Early results show the adoption of routine cash recording, the production of the group’s first structured income–expense and simple profit–loss reports, shorter reporting time, and clearer transparency to members. These outputs have begun to inform season-based cost planning and sales decisions, signaling a shift toward data-driven management. The intervention demonstrates that lightweight tools and close mentoring can quickly improve accountability and decision quality in smallholder settings. The approach is scalable for rural groups with similar constraints and supports inclusive, evidence-based agricultural development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, solvency, and firm size on stock prices with dividend policy as an intervening variable in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. The data used were secondary data obtained from audited annual financial reports. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in 70 companies that met the research criteria. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach and SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that profitability, solvency, and firm size have a significant direct effect on stock prices, while liquidity and dividend policy do not have a significant effect. Moreover, dividend policy does not mediate the relationship between profitability, liquidity, solvency, and firm size on stock prices. These findings suggest that dividend decisions are not yet strong enough to serve as market signals influencing stock price movements in the food and beverage sector. Nevertheless, the results confirm that the company's fundamental factors still contribute significantly to investor decision-making, especially through profitability and firm size indicators. This study is expected to provide valuable insights for investors, corporate management, policymakers, and academic literature development in the fields of financial management and capital markets

Abstract

In Indonesia’s Zakat Management Organisation (OPZ) context, managing zakat funds effectively and in line with maqasid al-syariah principles is crucial to maintaining public trust. This study investigates the impact of environmental uncertainty, human resource (HR) competence, internal control, and Islamic organizational culture on the values of the Sharia Management Accounting Information System (SIAMSy) and the performance of zakat management organizations (KOPZ), as well as examining the role of information technology as a moderating factor. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with zakat management organizations (OPZ) in Jambi Province and analyzed quantitatively. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares approach. (PLS). The direct testing results show that HR competency and Islamic organizational culture significantly influence SIAMSy values. On the contrary, environmental uncertainty and internal control do not substantially impact enhancing SIAMSy values. Meanwhile, KOPZ is directly influenced by ecological uncertainty and internal control, while human resource competence and Islamic organizational culture do not significantly affect KOPZ. The indirect testing results explain that human resource competence and Islamic organizational culture have a positive and significant impact on KOPZ through SIAMSy with complete mediation, indicating that the role of SIAMSy values is found in KOPZ from the maqashid al-syariah perspective. Meanwhile, environmental uncertainty and internal control do not positively and significantly impact KOPZ through SIAMSy values in OPZ in Jambi Province. Lastly, information technology cannot provide a moderating effect between variables.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of operational complexity, audit tenure, company age, and profitability on audit delay with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) as a moderating variable in property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021-2023 period. This research employs a quantitative approach using purposive sampling, involving 40 companies over three years, resulting in 120 observations. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that company age and profitability have a significant negative effect on audit delay, while operational complexity and audit tenure have no significant effect. Furthermore, Good Corporate Governance is proven to moderate the effect of audit tenure on audit delay, but does not moderate the effects of operational complexity, company age, and profitability on audit delay. This research is expected to contribute to companies, auditors, and investors in understanding the factors that influence the timeliness of financial reporting. Keywords: Operational Complexity, Audit Tenure, Company Age, Profitability, Audit Delay, Good Corporate Governance.

Abstract

Shortening is a solid fat with the functional properties needed to produce a better texture and appearance for bakery or confectionery products, as well as frying and cooking media. Shortening is made by mixing two or more vegetable oils and then modifying them through a chemical or enzymatic interesterification process. In this research, the raw material for shortening was prepared from a mixture of 2 types of palm oil olein: refined olein (ROL) and mid olein (MOL). This research aimed to determine the optimal ROL and MOL mixture ratio in the chemical interesterification process, which produces shortening with the best quality and specifications. Five levels of ROL/MOL comparison consisting of (100/0), (95/5), (90/10), (85/15), and (80/20) were chemically inter-esterified using a sodium methoxide catalyst under a vacuum of 0.8 bar at a temperature of 110 oC and speed of 500 rpm. The results showed that the increase of MOL in the ROL/MOL formulation tends to increase the shortening melting point. However, increasing MOL did not change the iodine value, and all the ROL/MOL ratios produced shortening with specifications that met the SNI 3718:2018 requirement, and the best ROL/MOL ratio was 80/20.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the relationship between variables, the analysis was carried out using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) approach using quantitative methods and purposive sampling techniques. The research results show that only liquidity has a significant effect on earnings management, and there is no significant correlation between solvency and profitability. In addition, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) has been proven to be able to strengthen the relationship between liquidity and earnings management, but does not act as a moderator in the relationship between solvency and profitability and earnings management.
