Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Disertai Ringkasan Mini-Magz Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA SMPN 1 Aesesa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pretest posttest control grup design. Variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar IPA SMPN 1 Aesesa, sedangkan variabel bebas adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD disertai ringkasan mini-magz. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu, peserta didik kelas VII sebanyak 157, dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 62 orang yang diperoleh dengan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD disertai ringkasan mini-magz berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Aesesa. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest peserta didik. Hasil belajar kognitif setelah diberi perlakuan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 87,38. Hasil belajar afektif setelah diberi perlakuan sebesar 96% dan hasil belajar psikomotorik setelah diberi perlakuan sebesar 98%. Uji hipotesis hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan < 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi menjadi salah satu unsur penting yang perlu dikuasai oleh guru maupun pengajar untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran pada era saat ini. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk mengenalkan dan melatih para guru dalam menguasai pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yaitu dengan aplikasi Canva. Pelatihan ini diberikan kepada 12 guru SMP Swasta Islam Muthmainnah. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan yaitu dengan pengarahan, diskusi dan tanya jawab, praktik langsung di lapangan serta pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memahami penggunaan Canva dan mampu mempraktikan secara langsung pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva yang kemudian dapat diaplikasikan kepada beberapa siswa

Abstract

The school mover program is one form of realization of Indonesia's educational vision of creating a competitive, independent, and character-based advanced Indonesia through the creation of the image of Pancasila students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the independent curriculum in junior high school mover schools (SMP) in Ende district. This study is a type of qualitative descriptive research, where data is collected using discussion and interview methods. Based on the research that has been conducted, it was found that the implementation of the independent curriculum in junior high school mover schools in Ende district has been running effectively in two schools, namely SMPK Frateran Ndao Ende and SMPN 2 Wolowaru. At the same time, SMPN 4 Wolowaru, SMPN 5 Wolowaru, SMPS Kelimutu, and SMP Muhammadiyah Ende have not fully achieved the 8 aspects of the implementation of the independent curriculum. This is due to the lack of understanding of human resources in educational units, facilities, and infrastructure, differences in the level of readiness of educational units, and the lack of collaboration and intensive mentoring.

Abstract

The Canva-based interactive learning media training aimed to improve the literacy skills and abilities of teachers at SMPN 2 Ende Selatan. The training was attended by teachers and students as participants, as well as lecturers and students from the Biology Education study program at the University of Flores who served as resource persons. The training consisted of two stages: preparation and implementation. The results showed that the Canva platform was effective in improving the literacy skills and abilities of teachers at SMPN 2 Ende Selatan. Using the Canva platform to create interactive and non-monotonous learning media can create a more visual, creative, and engaging learning process for students, thereby increasing their motivation to learn.

Abstract

Ethnoscience studies play an important role as a source of knowledge because they are based on local wisdom and involve traditions that occur in everyday life according to the contextual conditions of the local community environment so that they can be applied and absorbed by the community. Local wisdom and traditions can be in the form of local food, one of which is Wu’u. Wu’u is a local food made from corn that has existed and been passed down from generation to generation by the ancestors of the Ende Regency community as an alternative food made during times of famine and as provisions because of its long-lasting nature. However, along with the development of the era, the traditional knowledge of the community about the processing of local Wu’u food is threatened with extinction due to the lack of information passed down from previous generations due to the development of the era. This study examines the scientific concept of processing local Wu’u food with an ethnoscience approach. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative in the form of direct observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as literature studies from journals and other reference books. The results of the study indicate that the indigenous knowledge of the Ende district community related to the process of making Wu’u consists of several stages of processing which are then transformed into scientific knowledge, so that from these stages of processing Wu’u has the opportunity as a source of learning science. The concept of scientific knowledge contained in the local Wu’u food processing process includes concepts of physics, chemistry, biology, and technology.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a chemistry learning model of problem solving by integrating ARCS strategies so that it is feasible to use to improve student learning outcomes in the University of Flores Biology Study Program. The development of the device uses the 4-D model that was tested on semester 2 students of the Biology Education Study Program 2019/2020 Academic Year. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest. Data collection techniques using research instruments, namely in the form of the validity of learning tools, the implementation of the learning plan, student responses, and student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes data were analyzed using analysis prerequisite tests, which consisted of normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results showed that the device developed was valid. This is evidenced by the significance value of tcount<ttable, which is 0.000<0.05. Thus the developed learning tools can improve student learning outcomes on the subject matter of acid and base.

Abstract

Solution material is one of the materials that requires a student's level of understanding at the critical thinking level. Critical thinking skills train students to learn to find and solve problems using scientific methods based on real experiences encountered and experienced directly. To be able to find the concept of knowledge based on existing realities, an appropriate learning model is needed, namely a problem-based learning model. This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills. The type and design of this research is development research with a nonequivalent control group design. The samples of this research were students of semester 2, Biology Education Study Program, University of Flores. This research was conducted from April-June 2020. Data were collected using the critical thinking ability test technique of students in the chemical solution subject, followed by processing and analyzing data using the prerequisite analysis test in the form of normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The data analysis shows the significance value of the normality and homogeneity test, namely α> 0.05, while for the t-test α <0.05. From these results prove that problem-based learning can improve students' critical thinking skills in chemistry subject matter solution

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dari media pembelajaran Ma Wu’u yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di SMPN Batu Payung Belogili Kabupaten Flores Timur tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengujian kelayakan media dilakukan oleh 2 ahli materi, 2 ahli media dan 30 siswa SMPN Batu Payung Belogili Kabupaten Flores Timur. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa tingkat kelayakan dari media pembelajaran Ma Wu’u dikategorikan sangat layak dari ahli media 1 dan 2 dengan nilai persentase aspek kelayakan media diperoleh berturut-turut yaitu 84% dan 88%, media ini juga dikategorikan sangat layak dari ahli materi 1 dan 2 dengan nilai persentase kelayakan media yang diperoleh dari kedua ahli tersebut adalah 100%. Pada uji kelayakan media yang digunakan oleh 30 siswa diketahui bahwa respons siswa sangat setuju terhadap penggunaan media Ma Wu,u sebagai media yang layak yang ditunjukkan dari nilai persentasi 98% sampai 100% sehingga layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kemiri merupakan tanaman perkebunan yang hidup di daerah tropis dengan ketinggian tanaman. Tanaman ini dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber minyak dan rempah-rempah. Daging buah kemiri memiliki kadar minyak sebesar 50-60%  mengadung asam lemak jenuh yang sangat tinggi, selain itu juga terdapat kandungan asam oleat yang tinggi sehingga dapat dimanfaat untuk menghambat kerontokan rambut dan mempercepat pertumbuhan rambut. Desa Numba merupakan desa beriklim tropis sehingga cocok menjadi tempat membudidayakan tanaman kemiri. sehingga pada tahun 2008 kelompok Sa Ate, tedaftar di desa Numba sebagai gabungan kelompok tani (gapoktan) Nugu Raka Bupu dengan jumlah anggota sebanyak 13 orang. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan minyak kemiri  menggunakan mesin pemeras dapat dikatakan berhasil dilihat dari antusias para peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung. Dengan adanya pelatihan secara langsung maka para peserta menjadi lebih mudah paham dan menguasai tahapan pembuatan minyak kemiri dengan baik.  Proses pembuatan minyak kemiri dapat berlangsung lebih cepat, Produk minyak kemiri yang dihasilkan berwarna kuning jernih sesuai dengan yang diharapkan

Abstract

Uwikajundota and alundene are local wisdom based on traditional food whose existence has experienced a shift due to developments over time. Uwikajundota and alundene are traditional foods made from cassava. This research aims to explore scientific concepts in the processing process through an ethnoscience approach. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The location of this research is in Nanganesa village, Ndona District, Ende Regency. The subject of this research is Nanganesa Village while the object is ethnoscience in making the traditional food uwukajundota and alundene. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Research data comes from primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with residents who process uwikajundota and alundene as well as observations regarding the manufacturing process. Secondary data was obtained from literature studies related to theory and other supporting data. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that the stages of making the traditional food uwikajundota and alundene have the potential to be used as a science learning resource. As a science learning resource, the manufacture of uwikajundota and alundene can be studied in several concepts, namely food nutrition, additives, force and pressure, and thermodynamics.
