Abstract

Pembelajaran Daring Online sangat membantu dunia pendidikan Indonesia di masa datangnya pandemi Covid-19 yang tidak pernah terduga di tahun 2020, banyak aplikasi yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran daring, contohnya Whatsapp, Zoom, Quizzi, dan Google Classroom, dan seterusnya. Adapun kendala yang ditemukan dilapangan adalah terkendala dalam hal infrastruktur, seperti adanya komputer dan gadget yang kurang memadahi. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana relokasi pembelajaran seni yang awalnya dilakukan secara tatap muka menjadi bentuk daring selama Covid-19. Masalah difokuskan pada bagaimana proses relokasi pembelajaran seni. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen, dan teknik perekaman. Teknik pengabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Prosedur analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa relokasi Pembelajaran Seni dalam bentuk daring adalah upaya yang dianggap Pemerintah dan para tenaga pendidik seperti guru dan dosen di Indonesia paling efektif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa selama pandemi Covid-19. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah teknologi digital memiliki peran penting dalam peningkatan kreativitas selama Covid-19, sejalan dengan perkembangan dunia yang semakin pesat, khususnya seperti pembelajaran membuat karya desain seni, jika perencanaan pembelajaran seni dengan media digital matang, maka semakin mendukung efektivitas dan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of creative learning based on children's song models in developing children's character. Using a literature review approach, this research analyzes the literature on creative learning and character development in children. Findings from the literature review indicate that creative learning based on children's song models has great potential in shaping positive character traits in children. Through this model, children can actively engage in enjoyable learning experiences while internalizing character values embedded in song lyrics. The use of music in learning also enhances children's motivation, creativity, and communication skills. This research makes a significant contribution to understanding and developing innovative teaching methods for children's character development. The importance of fostering good character in children is widely recognized, and this approach based on children's song models offers an effective strategy to achieve this goal. By integrating music and creativity into the learning process, it is hoped that the younger generation can become intellectually sharp and possess positive personalities in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the concept of deep learning based on mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning in learning Topeng Getak Dance at the Junior High School (SMP) level by utilizing the TikTok application as an interactive learning medium. Facing the challenge of attracting the interest of the younger generation to traditional arts, this approach offers a conscious, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experience. Through the use of TikTok as a creative medium, students are invited to actively explore dance movements in the form of videos, reflect on the meaning in each type of movement, and enjoy the learning process interactively. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with observations, interviews, and documentation of junior high school students. The results of the study indicate that the application of the mindful-meaningful-joyful learning strategy based on TikTok can increase student engagement, understanding of cultural values, and strengthen the preservation of Topeng Getak Dance among the younger generation. These findings emphasize the importance of technology-based innovation in developing art learning models that are relevant to the digital era.

Abstract

Learning Strategy is a series of activities carried out to achieve learning objectives. A teacher certainly has different learning strategies in implementing learning in the classroom, especially Arts and Culture learning strategies which must apply creative and interactive principles. Arts and Culture subjects generally consist of practical material, so they are considered to have their own challenges and difficulties to be done easily. So learning media is needed as a tool to help a teacher in delivering material. The purpose of using learning media is to facilitate the delivery of material by teachers to students. Apart from that, using creative and interactive learning media can help students' social and emotional emotions to create a pleasant classroom atmosphere. Of course, feeling happy, not boring, and students tending to be active in using learning media, will help carry out effective learning activities, including easily achieving learning goals. Thus, this research aims to explain how learning strategies use healthy dice media as an effort to improve the singing abilities of class IX students at SMPN 51 Surabaya. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, namely research that produces data in the form of descriptive answers in the form of words based on the results of observations. The results of this research are how to implement learning strategies using healthy Dice Media and the results of implementing learning using healthy Dice Media in improving the singing ability of class IX students at SMPN 51 Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing video tutorial learning materials for the Canting Kahuripan Dance. Batik Gedog Tuban is used to design the content and form of the Canting Kahuripan Dance as learning materials packaged through learning videos. The method used in this study is the R&D (Research and Development) method with the 4D development model (Definition, Design, Develop, Distribute) which aims to create or refine new products to solve learning problems. The research subjects were seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Tuban. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The validation results by material experts and media experts showed that the product was feasible to use with a feasibility percentage of 87.5% and 85%, respectively. Teachers' and students' responses to the video tutorial were very positive with a practicality percentage of 88% and 86%, respectively. Student learning outcomes increased significantly from an average pretest of 65 to a posttest of 82. The conclusion of the study shows that the YouTube-based Canting Kahuripan dance tutorial video is effective in improving students' dancing skills and is suitable for use as a learning medium. The results of the study show that the developed teaching material products are in accordance with the contents of the Merdeka curriculum for the Arts and Culture subject in the field of dance in points that contain matters related to improving students' abilities in understanding and practicing traditional dance material.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to describe the value and function of the Shotokan dimple art in Pandean Tourism Village. This research is expected to serve as a basis for further investigation. Method: The research approach used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques were obtained from interviews, literature and documentation. Result and Discussion: The results of this study indicate that the values contained in the mortar kothekan include cooperation, discipline, hard work, tolerance and others. The Pandean Tourism Village and the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) are collaborating with traditional arts in the Tourism Village program to preserve traditional skills and maintain their character values. Kothekan mortar, initially used by farmers as entertainment to relieve fatigue, now has several other functions. The involvement of the kothekan lesung art in the Tourism Village gives this art have 3 (three) artistic functions, namely: 1) personal function, 2) social function, and 3) physical function.

Abstract

Kegiatan Penguatan Kompetensi Dosen Dalam Pembuatan Proposal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Kolaborasi Nasional Antar Perguruan Tinggi (Kolaborasi Universitas Negeri Surabaya Dengan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Dan Universitas PGRI Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan) merupakan solusi dari kurang Pengoptimalan serta Penguatan Kompetensi Dosen Dalam Pembuatan Proposal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Kolaborasi Nasional Antar Perguruan Tinggi. Tujuan PKM yaitu: (1) Melaksanakan Pelatihan Dosen Dalam Pembuatan Proposal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Kolaborasi Nasional Antar Perguruan Tinggi, (2) Merancang Terwujudnya Proposal Kolaborasi Universitas Negeri Surabaya Dengan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dan Proposal Kolaborasi Universitas Negeri Surabaya dengan Universitas PGRI Kalimantan. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan dengan metode workshop, pendampingan, dan project. Hasil dari pelatihana adalah mahasiswa dan dosen mitra menhasilkan Proposal Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) kolaborasi Nasioanl antar Perguruan tinggi yang siap untuk diajakukan di https://bima.kemdikbud.go.id. Dari kegiatan tersebut dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Kegiatan berjalan baik dan lancar sesuai dengan jadwal yang direncanakan, Kegiatan pendampingan secara umum berlangsung secara efektif, Pendampingan menghasilkan 10 Proposal Pengabdian kepada masyarakat kolaborasi Nasional antar perguruan tinggi yang siap untuk di laksanakan pada tahun 2025.Saran dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan adalah masih perlunya kegiatan yang serupa kepada mahasiswa dan dosen mitra lainnya sebagai upaya pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berdasarkan pada kolaborasi seni budaya dengan kemasan yang lebih menarik dan efektif.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Android-based deep learning in dance education at Army Dance Production (ADP) Studio in Surabaya, Indonesia, and investigates the extent to which this technological approach can enhance the quality of learning and student engagement. The primary focus lies in leveraging Android devices as tools for recording, documenting, and replaying dance movements, thereby serving as a medium for evaluation and self-directed reflection among dancers. Through systematic visual documentation, trainees are able to observe movement deficiencies, refine techniques, and improve both expression and ensemble cohesion, either independently or under instructor guidance. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research design. Data were collected through structured observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the studio owner, instructors, and visual records of the learning process. Findings reveal that the integration of Android devices as a documentation medium yields a significantly positive impact on practice quality and student engagement. Students, including those with special needs, demonstrated accelerated movement memorization and improved technique correction through video-based self-evaluation. Furthermore, the systematic uploading of practice sessions to social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram proved effective as both a documentation archive and a motivational tool. In conclusion, technology-supported dance learning can serve as a foundational step toward broader digital integration in the performing arts, offering a scalable, accessible, and pedagogically sound model for nonformal arts education institutions.

Abstract

This article discusses community music education as social emancipation for marginalized groups in Surabaya based on a case study of POSS (Surabaya Arts Center). For the sake of this research, POSS was explored qualitatively using a case study approach. The data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. The study demonstrates that POSS assumes Freire's pedagogy of the oppressed by embracing dialogic, participatory, and experiential education as principles of education. Music education at POSS is geared not just towards technical proficiency but also towards self-discovery, social identity transformation, and active citizenship of students in public life. A few of the students have proceeded to perform nationally and internationally and establish identical art communities in other regions of the country. These results illustrate that music education via community can effectively facilitate social mobility and new spheres of representation for marginalized groups. Furthermore, the study highlights the imperative of cultural recognition, trust-based leadership, and inclusive pedagogy in transforming how education can reach out to underserved communities. POSS demonstrates that music education has the potential to transform not only individuals but also communities, when it is founded upon lived experience and collective empowerment. This research calls for stronger support for community-based arts education as a genuine commitment to social justice and cultural inclusion in the educational system of Indonesia.
