Abstract

The problem in this study is the Influence of Letter Box Media on Literacy Skills of 5-6 Year Old Children at PAUD Harapenta Namuseng. This study aims to determine the influence of letter box media on literacy skills of 5-6 year old children. The method used in the study is a quantitative method, with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 10 children aged 5-6 years. The data collection technique used was observation. Using the Wilcoxon test, namely by comparing Tcount with Ttable N = 10 α = 0.05 Ttable = 8 where Tcount> Ttable (55> 8), which means the hypothesis is accepted. So it can be stated that there is an influence of the use of letter box media on literacy skills of 5-6 year old children at PAUD Harapenta Namuseng T.A 2024/2025.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media kincir angka terhadap kemampuan berhitung permulaan di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 01 Medan T.A 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain pre- experimental design dengan tipe one group pretest dan posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitin ini sebanyak 13 anak, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis statistik yang digunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kemampuan berhitung permulaan antara sebelum dan setelah di berikan perlakuan. Peningkatan ini terlihat pada dengan nilai rata-rata posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai pretest. Rata -rata nilai pretest 3,62 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 6,32. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai signifikansi < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya adanya pengaruh media kincir angka terhadap kemampuan berhitung permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 01 Medan.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of content differentiation in early childhood education at Medan City Medan Sekolah Penggerak. The method employed is qualitative research, utilizing purposive sampling. Interviews, observations, and documentation were conducted as data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification, while for data validity, source triangulation is used. The results showed that PAUD units in Medan City Sekolah Penggerak have implemented content differentiation by adjusting teaching materials based on children's readiness, interests, and learning styles. Teachers utilize various learning media and technology and provide space for children's active participation. Challenges faced by teachers include limited time, children's abilities, facilities, and teachers' skills in creating varied materials. Training, improved facilities, and collaboration between teachers are needed to optimize the implementation of content differentiation.

Abstract

Abstrak Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) menjadi salah satu sarana penting dalam media pembelajaran anak usia dini, namun masih banyak guru PAUD yang menghadapi keterbatasan dalam kreativitas mengembangkan dan memanfaatkannya secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, pengalaman, keterampilan, dan sikap guru PAUD Cempaka Desa Pantai Labu Pekan melalui kegiatan pendampingan pembuatan APE. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi. Mitra sasaran terdiri atas 11 guru PAUD Cempaka Desa Pantai Labu Pekan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata post-test dibandingkan pre-test, serta uji Wilcoxon mengonfirmasi terdapat perbedaan signifikan. Perihal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan pembuatan APE efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan, pengalaman, keterampilan, dan sikap guru PAUD. Pendekatan berbasis praktik dan kolaborasi terbukti memperkuat kompetensi guru serta mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan sesuai kebutuhan anak usia dini. Kata kunci: pendampingan; pembuatan; alat permainan edukatif; anak usia dini. Abstract Educational Toys (APE) are an important tool in early childhood education, but many early childhood teachers still face limitations in their creativity in developing and utilizing them optimally. This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge, experience, skills, and attitudes of early childhood education teachers at Cempaka PAUD, Pantai Labu Pekan, through a mentoring program for the creation of APE. The implementation method comprises three stages: preparation, activity execution, and evaluation. The target participants consist of 11 early childhood education teachers at Cempaka PAUD, Pantai Labu Pekan. The results showed an increase in the average post-test score compared to the pre-test, and the Wilcoxon test confirmed a significant difference. This indicates that the APE creation mentoring program effectively improved the knowledge, experience, skills, and attitudes of early childhood education teachers. The practice-based and collaborative approach proved to strengthen teachers' competencies and support more creative and child-centered learning. Keywords: mentoring; creation; educational toys; early childhood.

Abstract

Deli Serdang Regency is a stunting locus area in North Sumatra. One of the 45 stunting locus villages in Deli Serdang Regency is Kelambir Village which is located in Pantai Labu District. Kelambir Village has formed a KPM management structure which has an important role in fostering stunting prevention, which activities are carried out to prevent stunting to fulfill nutritional needs for toddlers and pregnant women. This mentoring activity aims to fulfill community nutrition, especially those at risk of stunting, gaining knowledge and skills in providing healthy food and nutritious food based on local resources and improving family welfare. The method for this activity is an approach to partners and then implementation which includes education, outreach, training and assistance in creating a healthy menu to prevent stunting. The results of the activities show the positive impact of this socialization and mentoring. Activity participants, both from the PKK team, prospective brides and grooms, pregnant women and mothers with children under five can understand the use of local food as a healthy kitchen menu to prevent stunting. Positive results from the evaluation will indicate that participants have been able to internalize this information and apply it in the context of everyday life. Utilizing local Indonesian food is not just a culinary innovation, but is also a sustainable strategy to meet the nutritional needs of pregnant women and children under five. This activity is expected to be able to create a healthy eating environment, a synergistic relationship between the environment, local economy and public health.

Abstract

The Bantan Subdistrict falls into the Ageing Population category, with 29% of its population being elderly. There are an estimated 1,444 pre-elderly individuals aged 45-49 and 4,438 elderly individuals aged 50 and above. Currently, many elderly individuals in Bantan become burdens to their children's families, requiring care and financial support, which ultimately affects the family's economy. Consequently, numerous elderly individuals remain unproductive, staying idle at home, leading to health issues among them. The aim of this program is to enhance the health and well-being of the elderly by fostering entrepreneurial spirit based on local food, thereby stimulating community economic growth. The implementation method consists of Preparation Phase, including systematic activity planning, brainstorming, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and Pre-Event. The Implementation Phase involves Pre-Incubation, Application, Incubation, and Post-Incubation Period. Evaluation includes Pre-test and Post-test. Results indicate that the entrepreneurship socialization and mentoring for the elderly in Bantan's IX Subdistrict proceeded smoothly and had a significant positive impact. Before the intervention, participants had an average knowledge score of 31.25. However, after participating in the socialization and mentoring activities, there was a significant increase in the average knowledge score, reaching 78.25, with an average score increase of 47.00, reflecting substantial improvement. It can be concluded that the program runs smoothly and well. The various efforts that have been made by the Unimed Team show their seriousness and commitment in empowering the elderly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran berdasarkan kurikulum merdeka di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 06 Bromo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 orang guru di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 06 Bromo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 06 Bromo menggunakan metode pembelajaran bervariasi, metode tersebut diri dari terdiri dari metode pembelajaan bercakap-cakap, bercerita, demonstrasi dan menggunakan media yang berbeda setiap harinya. Guru melakukan evaluasi dengan instrumen ceklis untuk melihat kemampuan anak sehingga guru dapat menyusun kegiatan belajar mengajar sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. Guru memberikan peringatan kepada anak, apabila anak melakukan kesalahan atau perbuatan yang tercela. Guru menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dengan kreatif, tetapi guru kelas melati menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dengan monoton karena berfokus pada media pembelajaran. Guru tidak memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi pada saat menyapaikan materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dimensi kreatif anak usia 5-6 tahun pada indikator Menghasilkan Karya dan Tindakan Yang Orisinil dalam pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) di TK Karunia Medan Johor. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 12 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil temuan peneliti menunjukkan bahwa: 1) dimensi kreatif anak pada indikator menghasilkan karya dan tindakan yang orisinil dengan deskriptor anak mampu menciptakan gambar sesuai dengan konteks yang dimunculkan 2 orang anak yang belum muncul dalam mencitakan gambar sesuai dengan koteknya dan 10 orang anak yang sudah muncul dalam menciptakan gambar sesuai dengan konteksnya. 2) dimensi kreatif anak pada indikator menghasilkan karya dan tindakan yang orisinil dengan deskriptor anak mampu mengapresiassi hasil karyanya sendiri menunjukkan 3 oarang anak yang masih belum muncul dalam dirinya untuk mengapresiasi hasil karyanya sendiri dan 9 orang anak yang sudah muncul dalm dirinya untuk mengapresiasi hasil karyanya sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop and implement the construct 2 application as an interactive digital module, (2) determine the feasibility of the construct 2 application as an interactive learning media, (3) determine the assessment of students, media experts and material experts. This research is a type of method used by Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE development model. which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, but only carried out up to stage four, namely implementation. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire. In general, the results of the assessment of the material aspect validation test are classified as Good with a total score of 88 and the range of values and media aspect validation are also classified as Very Good category, namely 93 with an average value of 4.65. So that the Application of Construct 2 Application-Based Interactive Learning Media in Effective Communication Courses in Education PG PAUD FIP UNIMED is worthy of being used as a learning medium and independent learning resource.
