Abstract

SMK Negeri 4 Bengkulu City on Embedding Organizational Values for Students of SMKN 4 Bengkulu City in Educational Development. The targets of this activity are students of SMK Negeri 4 Bengkulu City who are active in the intra-school student organization (OSIS). The activity method is carried out directly (face-to-face) through exposure to organizational and leadership materials. This PKM activity is carried out in several stages, namely the preparation stage, observation stage, implementation stage, report writing stage, and activity evaluation stage. The results of this activity educate and instill organizational values for students of SMKN 4 Bengkulu City in educational development. This PKM activity is carried out to encourage and motivate students to be more active and foster a sense of belonging, solidarity, caring and develop creativity and innovations in organizations to improve students' soft skills and hard skills. So it is hoped that the achievements achieved by SMK N 4 Bengkulu City students will increase and have a role in the development of Indonesian education.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan kepada siswa SMK Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu, mendorong dan memotivasi siswa agar lebih giat, mengembangkan rasa memiliki, kebersamaan, kepedulian serta mengembangkan kreativitas serta inovasi-inovasi dalam berorganisasi guna meningkatkan kemampuan soft skill dan hard skill siswa. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah para siswa SMK Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu yang aktif dalam organisasi siswa intra sekolah (OSIS). Metode kegiatan dilakukan secara langsung (tatap muka) melalui pemaparan materi organisasi dan kepemimpinan. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap observasi, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap penulisan laporan, dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, siswa mengembangkan pemahaman dan wawasan tentang pentingnya organisasi karena mereka hidup dalam kelompok dan bekerja sama untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Melalui kegiatan ini, mahasiswa juga akan memahami pentingnya keterampilan kepemimpinan yang diperoleh mahasiswa ketika berperan aktif dalam suatu organisasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine employees’ work motivation at PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi Bengkulu and how PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi motivates its employees. This research is a qualitative research that is presented descriptively. The research informants totaled 5 people consisting of 1 key informant and 4 main informants. Data collection methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of research and discussion using the theory of employees’ motivation (Baldoni, 2005: 5) there are three indicators used, namely Energize (giving power), Encourage (encouraging), and Exchort (urging). And it can be concluded that employees’ motivation at PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi Bengkulu has been sufficiently implemented. This can be seen from several indicators, namely: 1) Energize, the motivation carried out by PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi Bengkulu is to set a good example as a leader, communicate clearly to employees, and provide challenges that can spur employee morale. 2) Encourage, employees at PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi Bengkulu are given opportunities for career advancement and promotion, given basic training before work and training to improve skills, and get awards for the efforts they make for the progress of the company. 3) Exchort, employees (leaders) of PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi also make sacrifices to motivate the work of other employees, such as sacrificing time, material, experience, and mentally for the progress of the company and motivating employees or subordinates. Employees of PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi Bengkulu are given prizes for their contributions to the company which are expected to be an inspiration for other employees. All of this is done so that employees are motivated to work and make employee productivity increase, employees’ performance is getting better and more enthusiastic at work, employees are more committed to the company, and employees will appreciate their work.
