Abstract

This study aims to effect of the TGT learning model on student’s creativity and comprehension of concepts in mathematics learning. This study used quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were 256 students of class VIII SMP YPPSB. The research sample was obtained in class VIII-H of 32 students as the experimental class and class VIII-D with total of the students were 31 students as the control class. The test used to analyze the research data was the Independent Sample T-test on the posttest results. The results of the study showed that creativity and comprehension of concepts using the TGT learning model was better than the class that used conventional learning. The average creativity used the TGT learning model tcount = 4.080 and the average comprehension of the concept of tcount = 11.012 with ttable = 2.00 which means tcount> ttable. Thus, the TGT type learning model has a significant influence on student’s creativity and comprehension of concepts in mathematics learning.

Abstract

At this time, many students think that learning mathematics is difficult to understand. While Powtoon animation video-based mathematics learning media is still rarely applied, students feel bored. They do not understand the concept of material when the learning process uses the lecture method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using Powtoon animation video-based mathematics learning media on the material for the Two-Variable Linear Equation System in Junior High School. The type of approach used is a pre-experimental quantitative approach by applying a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research population includes all students of class VII-A at SMP NEGERI 1 NGIMBANG for the academic year 2020/2021, with 32 students consisting of 8 male students and 24 female students. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaire sheets. While the data analysis technique used is normalized gain. The data obtained show differences in students' test results using the Powtoon animated video and before using the Powtoon animated video. The difference was seen from the average score of the students' test results before using the media of 36.41 and after using the media of 92.58. In addition, the research results from the N-Gain Test results show that the use of Powtoon animation video media is effective in learning mathematics. It is evidenced-based on the results of the expert test and media validation by obtaining 85% and 83.75%, which means that it belongs to the outstanding category. In comparison, the results of the student response questionnaire of 81.29% belong to the outstanding category. Students' test results get an average of 0.88% from the n-gain, which shows a high classification. This study indicates that Powtoon animation video media is effective in learning mathematics compared to learning that only uses the lecture method. 29% of it belongs to the outstanding category, then through the test results, students get an average of 0.88%, which is obtained from the n-gain, which means it shows a high classification. Abstract

This study aimed to determine how effective the learning is using Gutinmathe's blog with a contextual approach. This research employed a quantitative approach and ADDIE Web development method, with analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The population in this study were Year 10 students of one of the vocational high School in Pandaan, Indonesia and the samples were Year 10 students majoring in Medical Laboratory Technology from the school. The data was analyzed using the paired-sample t-test conducted by SPSS. Gutinmathe's blog learning media was validated by two media expert lecturers and one teacher. The media validation score was 78.33%, meaning that the blog media is feasible to use. The results of this study indicate differences in learning outcomes before and after using the Gutinmathe blog-based learning media, where the students' post-test answers are better than the pre-test. It shows that using Gutinmathe's blog-based learning media with a contextual approach is effective.

Abstract

This research’s purpose is to describe the mathematical errors of civil engineer college students in subject Calculus II. The research’s method uses a qualitative approach that are reducing data, serving data, and conclude. Based on the research, it found that the major error to solve the problems of Calculus II is manipulating algebra form. The error of calculating is the second one after the error of manipulating algebra form. The researcher also finds that even the college students choose the right formula to solve the problems, they make an error in implementing the formula that they were chosen.

Abstract

Manajemen logistik memiliki peranan penting dalam suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang logistik dan ekspedisi. Tujuan manajemen logistik yaitu mengantarkan produk ke konsumen tepat waktu dengan cara yang efektif dan efisien. Salah satu cara untuk mengoptimalkan sistem distribusi adalah dengan pengoptimalan transportasi. Salah satu permasalahan dalam transportasi adalah Vehicle Routing Problem. Vehicle Routing Problem with Stochastic Demands (VRPSD) merupakan perluasan dari VRP konvensional dengan kondisi permintaan konsumen di setiap lokasi diasumsikan mengikuti distribusi peluang yang telah diketahui. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan Vehicle Routing Problem with Stochastic Demands menggunakan Hibrid Simulated Annealing – Algoritma Genetika. Simulated annealing adalah salah satualgoritma untuk optimasi, Simulated annealing berasal dari bidang metalurgi yaitu annealing. Algoritma ini digunakan untuk mencari pendekatan terhadap solusi optimum lokal. Algoritma genetika merupakan metode optimisasi yang menggunakan teori evolusi dan seleksi alam di dalam suatu populasi individu. Algoritma genetika menawarkan pemecahan persoalan dengan pendekatan terhadap solusi optimum global. Hibrid simulated annealing – algoritma genetika mencakup beberapa proses dasar, yaitu generate populasi, evaluasi, seleksi elitism, fitness, serta seleksi roulette wheel. Pada proses operasi algoritma genetika menggunakan crossover dan mutasi sedangkan operasi pada simulated annealing menggunakan mutasi dan proses annealing. Implementasi metode hibrid simulated annealing – algoritma genetika pada Vehicle Routing Problem with Stochastic Demands diharapkan dapat menghasilkan rute pengantaran barang dengan jarak dan biaya transportasi minimum.

Abstract

The program for strengthening character education is only carried out in several pilot schools so that there is not much information available to what extent character education has actually been carried out in other schools, especially in non-piloting schools. This study aimed to measure the feasibility of strengthening character education in non-piloting schools. The population in this quantitative descriptive study was teachers at junior high school in Malang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The subjects involved in this study were six teachers of Junior High Schools 20 of Malang, Junior High Schools 27 of Malang, and Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School. Data collection used questionnaires and analysed descriptively statistically. The results of the study showed that the three schools have implemented character strengthening programs seen from the ten assessment components i.e. pre-assesment, programme socialization, vision, programme design, class-based implementing, school culture strengthening, social partisipation, core value implementing, and evaluation. These results indicated that character strengthening has become a positive habit but not yet optimal. The results of this study can be used as a basis for identifying appropriate follow-up steps for improving achievement of character strengthening in schools.

Abstract

Salah satu sasaran pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang menjadi lahan besar proses pembinaan diri adalah LPKA atau Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran matematika di LPKA Kelas 1 Kota Blitar dengan melihat dari tiga aspek yang akan diteliti yaitu motivasi belajar matematika, hasil test soal latihan, dan implementasi pelajaran matematika dalam kehidupan di LPKA. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitianya beberapa tingkat siswa di LPKA mulai dari SD-SMP- SMA dengan rincian 3 siswa SD, 6 Siswa SMP dan 6 Siswa SMA, serta guru mata pelajaran matematika pada setiap tingkatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan  deskriptif kualitatif, dengan hasil pengumpulan data dari observasi dan wawancara untuk mengetahui keadaan dan kualifikasi pembelajaran matematika di LPKA Kelas 1 Blitar. Hasil penelitian dalam aspek motivasi belajar matematika anak didik di LPKA menunjukkan bahwa pada tingkat SD dan SMP berada pada tingkat kurang. Selanjutnya secara menyeluruh pada tingkat SMA termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Dalam aspek hasil test soal latihan anak didik, hanya 4 anak didik dari 15 anak didik yang mampu menyelesaikan test soal latihan meski membutuhkan aktifitas Scaffolding. Sementara dalam aspek implementasi pelajaran matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari hanya 3 anak dari 15 anak didik yang mampu menjelaskan keterkaitan antara matematika dengan kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Abstrak: Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) merupakan salah satu instrumen penilaian hasil belajar peserta didik yang mendasar dalam aspek kognitif yaitu literasi membaca dan numerasi. Asesmen literasi membaca dan numerasi pada AKM dapat ditinjau dari tiga aspek yaitu konten, proses kognitif, serta konteks. Permasalahan di SD Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Malang antara lain belum ada bentuk asesmen pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada AKM. Melihat permasalahan tersebut, perlu dilakukan pendampingan penyusunan modul numerasi berorientasi AKM di Sekolah Dasar. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan empat tahapan antara lain workshop penyusunan modul numerasi berorientasi AKM, pendampingan penyusunan modul numerasi berorientasi AKM, implementasi modul numerasi berorientasi AKM, serta refleksi dan tindak lanjut. Mitra pengabdian ini yaitu SD Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Malang yang diwakili oleh 10 orang guru SD. Hasil pelaksanaan diperoleh kompetensi guru meningkat, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan variasi bentuk soal yang disusun oleh guru setelah adanya kegiatan workshop. Jenis soal yang disusun guru tidak hanya pilihan ganda, jenis soal yang disusun berupa pilihan ganda kompleks, menjodohkan, isian singkat dan uraian. Tanggapan dan evaluasi dari guru bahwa modul numerasi berorientasi AKM sangat diperlukan dan memudahkan guru untuk memetakan ketercapaian kompetensi dasar peserta didik dan perlu adanya variasi soal serta pembimbingan peserta didik sebelum mengerjakan modul AKM.Abstract: Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) assesses student learning outcomes fundamental in the cognitive aspect, namely reading literacy and numeracy. Reading literacy and numeracy assessment in the MCA can be viewed from three aspects: content, mental processes, and context. Problems at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Malang City, there is no form of learning assessment oriented to the MCA. It is necessary to assist in preparing MCA-oriented numeracy modules in elementary schools. The implementation of the activity is in four stages, including workshops on the preparation of the MCA-oriented numeracy module, assistance in the preparation of the AKM-oriented numeracy module, the implementation of the MCA-oriented numeracy module, as well as reflection and follow-up. SD Muhammadiyah 5 Malang City is this service partner, represented by ten elementary school teachers. The implementation results showed that teacher competence increased, indicated by variations in the teacher's questions after the workshop activities. The types of questions compiled by the teacher are multiple-choice and arranged in the form of multiple complex choices, matchmaking, short entries and descriptions. Responses and evaluations from teachers that the MCA-oriented numeracy module is essential and makes it easier for teachers to map the achievement of students' necessary competencies and the need for variations in questions and student guidance before working on the MCA module.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendampingan penyusunan SOP manajemen ketenagaan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) perencanaan, dan (3) pelaksanaan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi. Hasil observasi dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa SMK belum memiliki Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) untuk manajemen ketenagaan. Perencanaan pelaksanaan pendampingan penyusunan SOP dilakukan dengan membuat catatan lapangan kegiatan pendampingan dan penyusunan format SOP. Sedangkan pelaksanaan pendampingan penyusunan SOP dilakukan dengan enam tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, pembentukan tim pelaksana, perencanaan, penyusunan, uji coba draf SOP, dan implementasi SOP. SOP yang dibutuhkan untuk mengatur penjaminan mutu pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan
