Abstract

The aim of this research is a type of quantitative research with the aim of finding out how much influence brand image and price have on the decision to purchase an Avanza car at PT. Hadji Kalla Daya Makassar Branch. The population in this study was 80 people with a sample of 67 respondents using a Non Probability Sampling sampling technique with a sampling technique, namely Incidental Sampling. The types and sources of data used are primary data and secondary data with questionnaire data collection and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, and partial hypothesis test (t test). The results of this research show that the brand image and price variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase an Avanza car at PT. Hadji Kalla Daya Makassar Branch. Brand image and price variables influence purchasing decisions. Based on the results of the t test, the Brand Image Significance Value of 0.001 is smaller than the specified significance value of 0.05, so based on this decision making, there is an influence of brand image in purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the price significance value of 0.001 is smaller than the significance value set at 0.05, so there is an influence of price in purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of interpersonal communication on employee performance at the Department of Industry and Trade of Gowa Regency. Interpersonal communication is an essential element in creating a productive and harmonious work environment, directly impacting employee performance. This study applied a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. The sample consisted of 37 employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by a significance value of 0.001 (< 0.05) and a determination coefficient of 0.285. This means that interpersonal communication explains 28.5% of the variation in employee performance. The findings emphasize the importance of strengthening interpersonal communication as a strategic effort to improve the performance of government institution employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Competence and Work Discipline on Employee Performance Through Motivation as an Intervening Variable at Bank Bri Masamba Branch Office. Data collection techniques involved distributing questionnaires and analyzing the data using Amos. The type of research used in this study is quantitative, with questionnaires serving as the primary data. The location of the study was conducted at the Bri Masamba Branch Office, with a population of all permanent employees of the Bri Masamba Branch Office. This study used 111 respondents. Data analysis in this study is descriptive statistical analysis, inferential statistical analysis with path analysis. The results of the study indicate that: competence has an influence on motivation, work discipline has an influence on motivation, competence has an influence on employee performance, work discipline has an influence on employee performance, motivation has an influence on employee performance, competence has an influence on employee performance through motivation, work discipline has an influence on employee performance through motivation. Based on the results of the Sobel test, the findings indicate that Motivation can mediate the influence of Competence and work discipline on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of government expenditure and investment on economic growth in Gowa Regency. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis and utilizes secondary data collected from 2014 to 2023. The results indicate that investment has a positive and significant effect on economic growth, as it plays a crucial role in increasing output and productivity. Meanwhile, government expenditure shows a positive but not significant effect, which may be due to the inefficiency in the allocation of government spending in driving economic growth.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership on employee work motivation in a public sector organization, specifically at the One-Stop Integrated Administration System (SAMSAT) Office in Gowa Regency. Although leadership has been widely recognized as a key determinant of employee motivation, empirical findings remain inconsistent, and limited studies have specifically explored this relationship within regional SAMSAT offices. This study adopts a quantitative explanatory approach using a saturated sampling technique involving 43 employees. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires and observations, while secondary data were obtained from institutional documentation and literature. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 27. The findings indicate that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation, as demonstrated by a t-value of 6.153 exceeding the critical value of 1.681, with a significance level of 0.000. The regression coefficient (0.582) shows that improvements in leadership quality are associated with increased employee motivation. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) reveals that leadership explains 48% of the variation in employee work motivation. These results highlight the importance of leadership effectiveness in fostering employee enthusiasm, responsibility, and organizational commitment. This study contributes to the human resource management literature by providing focused empirical evidence on the direct role of leadership in shaping work motivation within a public service context. Practically, the findings offer strategic insights for organizational leaders and policymakers to enhance employee motivation and improve public service performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kepuasan dan kepercayaan nasabah dapat memengaruhi keputusan mereka untuk tetap menggunakan produk tabungan emas yang ditawarkan oleh PT. Pegadaian Cabang Kabupaten Jeneponto. Dalam dunia bisnis yang semakin kompetitif, terutama di sektor jasa keuangan, tantangan dalam mempertahankan nasabah menjadi sangat penting. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hubungan antara variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 67 responden yang merupakan nasabah tabungan emas. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel independen (Kepuasan dan kepercayaan nasabah) dengan variabel dependen (Retensi nasabah). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan nasabah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap retensi nasabah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat kepuasan nasabah, semakin besar kemungkinan mereka untuk tetap menggunakan layanan tabungan emas. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kepercayaan nasabah memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap retensi nasabah. Kepercayaan yang tinggi membuat nasabah merasa lebih nyaman dan aman dalam bertransaksi, sehingga mereka cenderung untuk tidak berpindah kepada produk pesaing. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar PT. Pegadaian Cabang Kabupaten Jeneponto terus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, memperkuat komunikasi dengan nasabah, dan memberikan edukasi yang memadai mengenai produk yang ditawarkan. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, perusahaan tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan kepercayaan nasabah, tetapi juga dapat memperkuat posisi mereka dalam industri jasa keuangan yang semakin kompetitif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial motivation and innovation on business sustainability and to examine the moderating role of limited resources in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bulukumba Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to MSME actors in Bulukumba Regency. The analysis focuses on the relationships between entrepreneurial motivation, innovation, and business sustainability, with limited resources tested as a moderating variable. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial motivation does not have a significant effect on business sustainability, suggesting that psychological motivation alone is insufficient without adequate technical and financial competencies. In contrast, innovation has a positive and significant effect on business sustainability, highlighting the importance of creativity and product adaptation in maintaining competitive advantage. Furthermore, the moderating analysis shows that limited resources do not moderate the relationship between entrepreneurial motivation and business sustainability. However, limited resources significantly weaken the influence of innovation on business sustainability, indicating that constraints in capital, technology, and human resources hinder the effectiveness of innovative strategies. These findings imply that strengthening innovation capabilities is essential for MSME sustainability. Therefore, MSME actors are encouraged to improve managerial literacy, optimize the use of digital technology, and enhance collaborative networks among business actors to overcome resource limitations and strengthen collective business resilience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan pelanggan terhadap penerapan manajemen pelayanan pada Kantor Notaris Indah Wijayanti di Kabupaten Jeneponto. Meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan jasa kenotariatan menuntut kantor notaris untuk memberikan pelayanan yang cepat, profesional, dan sesuai dengan harapan pelanggan. Kepuasan pelanggan menjadi indikator penting dalam menilai keberhasilan penerapan manajemen pelayanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pelanggan Kantor Notaris Indah Wijayanti selama sepuluh bulan terakhir sebanyak 150 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 109 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuesioner skala Likert, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis meliputi analisis deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, analisis regresi linear sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penerapan manajemen pelayanan dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 36,122 (sig. 0,000) dan koefisien regresi 0,904. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,924 menunjukkan bahwa 92,4% variasi penerapan manajemen pelayanan dapat dijelaskan oleh kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja tim dalam pengembangan usaha pada Tamu Store Makassar, dengan latar belakang meningkatnya persaingan UMKM di era digital. Pelaku usaha dihadapkan pada tantangan berupa miskomunikasi, ketidakjelasan peran, serta penurunan motivasi kerja yang berpotensi menghambat pertumbuhan bisnis. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini difokuskan pada identifikasi faktor internal, seperti kepemimpinan, komunikasi, kohesi tim, dan motivasi, serta faktor eksternal, seperti dinamika tren pasar dan tuntutan operasional, termasuk bagaimana interaksi keduanya membentuk kinerja tim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan kunci yang terdiri dari pemilik usaha, admin, dan reseller, serta didukung oleh observasi langsung dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi untuk memastikan validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja tim Tamu Store Makassar sangat dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan transformasional yang mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja suportif, komunikasi yang intensif dan responsif melalui platform WhatsApp, serta kohesi tim yang bersifat cair dan fleksibel layaknya organisasi startup. Selain itu, kemampuan tim dalam beradaptasi dengan tren fashion yang cepat di pasar digital menjadi faktor eksternal penting yang mendorong peningkatan kinerja. Interaksi antara faktor internal dan eksternal tersebut menghasilkan sinergi yang memperkuat efektivitas kerja tim. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya penguatan sinergi antara faktor internal dan eksternal sebagai strategi peningkatan kinerja tim, khususnya bagi UMKM di Makassar yang beroperasi di sektor digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman teknologi guru dalam Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemahaman teknologi guru dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 2 Alla Kecamatan Baroko Kabupaten Enrekang. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara terhadap kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman teknologi guru tergolong cukup baik meskipun belum merata. Guru telah memanfaatkan laptop, LCD, video pembelajaran, dan aplikasi daring untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, efisiensi kerja, serta komunikasi dengan siswa. Guru juga mampu beradaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi, namun masih terdapat hambatan berupa keterbatasan kemampuan, fasilitas, waktu belajar, dan jaringan internet.
