Abstract

One of the factors that affect a person's learning outcomes is their learning style(Aryo Andri Nugroho, Ida Dwijayanti 2017). The division of student classes, taking into account each individual's learning styles; will greatly aid instructors in preparing teaching methods and materials that are appropriate for the students' learning styles. The VAK (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) learning style was developed by Rita Dunn and Kennenth Dunn(Lehmann dan Ifenthaler 2012). Children with visual learning styles typically learn through external visual relationships, children with auditory learning styles learn more easily through listening, and children with kinesthetic learning styles learn through physical movements to input information into their brain(Sari n.d.).The aim of this study is to describe the results of the VAK analysis of the learning style (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) of students in the UKI Toraja PGSD study program in order to address issues related to the National Research Master Plan (RIRN) on Social Humanities, Cultural Arts, and education bureau can solve. Domestic studies on educational and learning technology. This research will be carried out in 3 (three) stages. The first phase was to observe the VAK (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) learning style of the UKI Toraja PGSD study program students. In the second phase, data was collected and direct interviews were conducted with relevant sources on the VAK (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) learning style of students in the UKI Toraja PGSD study program. The third phase is to manage and analyze the results of face-to- face interviews and to publish the results of research on the VAK learning styles (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) of students in the UKI Toraja PGSD study program. The results of the analysis of the VAK learning style of students in the UKI Toraja PGSD study program for the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were all students in the 2018/2019 primary school teacher-training course. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, the content of which was adapted from 18 elements from the versions of Rita and Kenneth Dunn. These are then grouped into 6 subsections of learning styles that are common to students, namely: Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic. The data analysis used in this study is a descriptive analysis using statistical methods. Based on the results of the analysis of the study style questionnaire of 2018 UKI Toraja PGSD students, of which the respondents were 282 students, the auditory was 34.2%, the visual 44.7% and the kinesthetic 21.1%. From the above data, it can be concluded that the class of PGSD students in 2018 has a predominantly visual learning style.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to increase students' creativity with a project-based learning model for class IV at SDN 318 Inpres Padakka. The approach used is an approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research design used is the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 318 Inpres Padakka consisting of 17 students, eight (8) boys and nine (9) girls. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, interviews. From the results of the study, it was shown that there was an increase in student creativity with a project-based learning model for fourth grade students at SDN 318 Inpres Padakka with project activities for making planting media from used bottles. This is evident in the first cycle of students who achieved the KKM were ten (10) people or 58.823% and seven (7) students or 41.176% who had not reached the KKM. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the students' creativity results in achieving the KKM 70 were fifteen (15) people or 88.235% and those who did not reach the KKM were two (2) people or 11.764%. Thus, in the second cycle, students' creativity increased with the Project-Based Learning Model.

Abstract

Mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) adalah salah satu mata pelajaran di sekolah tingkat dasar (SD). Materi yang diajarkan di SD pun terkait dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PAKEM terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN Inp. No. 49 Pasanggrahan Majene. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Inp. No. 49 Pasanggrahan Majene yang berjumlah 20 siswa yang terdiri dari 8 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan secara bersiklus dengan empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data, menggunakan observasi, untuk mengumpulkan data tentang aktivitas belajar siswa pada saat proses kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung dan tes hasil belajar IPA siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan telah terjadi peningktan hasil belajar IPA siswa setelah model pembelajaran tersebut diterapkan. Hal tersebut terbukti dari meningkatnya persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang sebelumnya siklus I hanya mencapai 58,20, naik mencapai rata-rata persentase 83,80 siklus II, sehingga dikatakan bahwa kemampuan siswa sudah mencapai target minimal yang dicantumkan dalam kurikulum. Seluruh siswa juga sudah mencapai ketuntasan belajar, karena semua siswa atau 100% sudah mencapai KKM ?70. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN Inp. No. 49 Pasanggrahan Majene meningkat dan pengaruh model pembelajaran PAKEM dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah dengan menggunakan media pembelajran cerita bergambar dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas III SDN 2 Rantepao ?”. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang direncanakan dalam empat tahap yaitu: (1) Perencanaan tindakan, (2) Pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) Pengamatan, (4) Refleksi. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan media cerita bergambar. Fokus penelitian adalah penerapan media pembelajaran cerita bergambar. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SDN 2 Rantepao dengan jumlah siswa 28 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Lembar Kerja Kelompok (LKK), tes formatif, observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terlihat ada peningkatan terhadap minat baca siswa kelas III SDN 2 Rantepao. Penerapan media pembelajaran cerita bergambar untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa pada siklus I pertemuan 1 nilai rata-rata 63,21 dengan persentase ketuntasan 64,29% dan meningkat pada pertemuan 2 dengan nilai rata-rata 64,82 dengan persentase ketuntasan 53,57%. Pada siklus II pertemuan 1 mencapai nilai rata-rata 79,29 dan meningkat pada pertemuan 2 dengan rata-rata 84,29 dengan persentase ketuntasan 85,71%. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan media cerita bergambar dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas III SDN 2 Rantepao.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Science Technology Mathematics Art and Technology (STEAM) project-based model influences the Science Process Skills (SPS) of elementary school students. The research method employed is quantitative research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population and sample of the study were fifth-grade students from SDN 6 Saluputti, Saluputti District, Tana Toraja, totaling 21 students. The research instruments used were multiple-choice and essay tests developed from science process skill indicators on the topic of heat transfer, teacher and student activity observation sheets, and interview guidelines. The results of the study indicate a significant influence of the STEAM-based project model on the Science Process Skills (SPS) of fifth-grade elementary students with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and rejecting the null hypothesis (H0). The data obtained will be analyzed using Paired Sample t-Test.. The N-gain value falls into the moderate category, leading to the conclusion that there is an influence of the STEAM-based project model on the SPS of fifth-grade students at SDN 6 Saluputti. However, further research is still needed on other science topics in elementary school that can be taught using the STEAM project-based approach to enhance students' knowledge and skills in other areas.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam bimbingan belajar bagi anak-anak usia sekolah dasar di Lembang Rea Tulak Langi’. Masih terbatasnya akses pendidikan yang memadai di daerah tersebut menyebabkan banyak anak kesulitan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, melalui kegiatan pendampingan bimbingan belajar, diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman dan prestasi belajar anak-anak, serta memperkenalkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Program ini melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa dari program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar untuk melakukan pendampingan secara langsung di lokasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 1 Bonggakaradeng. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan MC Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan lembar observasi. Tes untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar kognitif siswa, sedangkan lembar observasi untuk mengumpulkan hasil pengamatan aktifitas siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievment Division (STAD dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Pada pelaksanaan pratindakan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 39,13%, sedangkan siswa yang belum tuntas 60,87%. Pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 78,26% dan siswa yang belum tuntas 21,74%. Pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar mencapai 100%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas III pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan media kartu kuartet di SD Negeri 4 Tikala. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN 4 Tikala, pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 14 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, siklus I sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan dan siklus II sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu obervasi, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri 4 Tikala pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan media kartu kuartet mengalami peningkatan, dimana pada siklus I memeperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 75% dan pada siklus II mencapai 83,85%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan media kartu kuartet dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD Negeri 4 Tikala.

Abstract

The Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program at the Christian University of Indonesia Toraja (UKI Toraja) not only facilitates Indonesian language acquisition for international students but also introduces them to local culture. One key element of this cultural immersion is the Pa’gellu’ dance—a traditional performance of the Toraja people. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach to examine the instructional strategies used in teaching the Pa’gellu’ dance to 17 international students from the University of Western Australia, Denpasar campus. Data were collected through structured observations, focusing on students’ engagement across seven instructional stages: Introduction and Theory, Basic Practice, Technique Refinement, Costume and Performance, Cultural Integration, Evaluation, and Staging. Findings reveal that international students successfully met the learning objectives. They demonstrated the ability to recognize, practice, and perform the Pa’gellu’ dance in a culminating presentation. Although the teaching structure mirrored that used for local students, the content was simplified for non-native participants. Instructional methods included lectures, demonstrations, guided practice, drills, simulations, and performance exercises. Despite linguistic and cultural barriers, students were able to grasp the core techniques of the Pa’gellu’ dance. The study suggests that immersive, performance-based pedagogy can effectively bridge cultural and linguistic gaps in arts education for foreign learners.
