Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) struktur antologi geguritan Ngayawara karya Na Dhien, (2) makna dalam antologi geguritan Ngayawara karya Na Dhien, (3) relevansi antologi geguritan Ngayawara karya Na Dhien sebagai bahan ajar Bahasa Jawa di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode kualitatif deksriptif dan analisis isi, pendekatan struktural dan semiotik. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) struktur fisik yang ditemukan berupa diksi (kata konotasi, kata sapaan khas atau nama diri, kata serapan, dan kata vulgar), citraan (citraan penglihatan, citraan pendengaran, citraan penciuman, citraan gerak, dan citraan perasaan), kata konkret, bahasa figurative (majas simile, majas metafora, majas perumpamaan epos, majas personifikasi, majas metonimia, majas sinekdoki pars pro toto, dan idiom), versifikasi (purwakanthi guru swara/asonansi, purwakanthi guru sastra/aliterasi, purwakanthi guru basa/lumaksita), dan tipografi konvensional. Sedangakan struktur batin meliputi: tema, perasaan, nada dan suasana, amanat; (2) makna dalam antologi geguritan Ngayawara karya Na Dhien meliputi makna tentang hakikat kehidupan dan hakikat spiritual; (3) antologi geguritan Ngayawara karya Na Dhien sesuai dan layak digunakan untuk bahan ajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa di tingkat SMA, sebab relevan dengan Kurikulum 2013, memenuhi syarat pada aspek bahasa dan isi geguritan untuk bahan ajar geguritan di SMA.

Abstract

The aimed of this research are (1) To describe politeness in advertisement using Java language; (2) to describe impoliteness  in advertisement using Java language and; (3) the relevance of radio advertisement using Java language as teaching material listen advertisement class VIII. Based on the result of thid research can conclude several things: (1) a form of politeness on radio advertising in Javanese form, fulfilling taxt maxim generosity maxim, approbation maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, and simpathy maxim. The use of low Javanese language diversity and proper manners. Use of the word greeting.  Use words ‘please’ and ‘thank you’. (2) The form of impoliteness  form, breach approbation maxim, agreement maxim, simpathy maxim and taxt maxim. The use of language diversity low Javanese improper. Use of tone not appropriate, selection or improper use of diction. (3) Radio advertisements using Java language is appropriate and relevance to be used as teaching material for competency standards are able to listen and understand spoken discourse in a variety of Java language with basic competence listening advertisement.

Abstract

This research aims to increase: (1) the quality of learning process seen from student learning motivation aspect in writing javanese narrative essay; and (2) the students’ skill in writing javanese narrative essay on VII E Grade SMP N 1 Banyudono through applying mind mapping method and using serial picture IT based. This research is a classroom action research which conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects were students of VII E Grade SMP N 1 Banyudono, the total of the students is 32 students. The data sources are informants (teacher and student), events, and documents. The datas were collected by interview, observation, test, and document analysis. The validity of the data using data triangulation and method triangulation. Data were analyzed using descriptive tehniques comparative and critical analysis. Based on the result of this research concluded that applying mind mapping method and using serial picture IT based can improve: (1) the quality of process in writing javanese narrative essay learning that seen from students’ learning motivation aspect; and (2) the result of students’ learning in writing javanese narrative essay in each cycle. The increase can be done with the procedures of learning as follows: (1) students are given a theme to create a narrative essay by displaying a themed serial picture; (2) students make mind mapping central in the midst of a picture of the mind mapping center; (3) students make the main branch emanating directly from mind mapping central; (4) students write the keyword above the branch, long branches adapted to long word; (5) students added a picture that is accordance with keywords in the mind mapping sheet; and (6) students develop a narrative essay based on mind mapping became a essay that is complete.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kesantunan berbahasa, nilai pendidikan karakter, dan relevansi naskah sandiwara radio Duroko Sinandi terhadap materi ajar menelaah naskah sandiwara kelas IX SMP. Desain penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis analisis isi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitiatif dengan pendekatan sosiopragmatik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) temuan kesantunan berbahasa: (a) prinsip kebijaksanaan sebanyak tiga tuturan; (b) prinsip formalitas-tepa selira sebanyak enam tuturan; (c) prinsip penghargaan dan kerendahan hati-andhap asor sebanyak lima tuturan; dan (d) prinsip ketidaklangsungan sebanyak satu tuturan. (2) temuan jenis nilai pendidikan karakter: (a) nilai rasa ingin tahu sebanyak sembilan belas tuturan; (b) nilai tanggung jawab sebanyak empat tuturan; (c) nilai jujur sebanyak empat tuturan; (d) nilai kerja keras sebanyak dua tuturan; (e) nilai toleransi sebanyak satu tuturan; (f) nilai peduli sosial sebanyak lima tuturan; (g) nilai cinta damai sebanyak dua tuturan. (3) Hasil analisis kesantunan berbahasa dan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam naskah sandiwara radio Duroko Sinandi yang relevan untuk digunakan sebagai referensi materi ajar dalam pembelajaran menelaah naskah sandiwara kelas IX SMP.

Abstract

This research is included in descriptive quality research using content analysis method, aimed to describing some points in Javanese news text written by students: (1) form of ineffective sentence in Javanese news text written by students; (2) factor causing ineffective sentence in Javanese news text written by students; and (3) effort that could be done to overcome the ineffective sentence in Javanese news text written by students. The effective sentence can be seen based from five characteristics: (a) comparability and unity; (b) parallels; (c) emphasis; (d) frugality; and (e) variety. Noting these, there are 92 ineffective sentence forms were found in Javanese news text written by students. The factors who causing ineffective sentence in Javanese news text written by students included: (a) lack of Javanese vocabulary owned by students; (b) lack of references; (c) lack of motivation from student; and (d) lack of insight into effective sentences and their rules. The last, some efforts to overcome the ineffective sentence in Javanese news text written by students: (a) increase the scope of vocabulary owned by student; (b) add references; (c) increase student motivation; and (d) broadening student’s insight about effective sentence and their rules.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the content feasibility and language feasibility on the seventh grade Javanese text book “Marsudi Basa lan Sastra Jawa”. This study is included in qualitative research where the primary data source was the seventh grade Javanese text book “Marsudi Basa lan Sastra Jawa”. Research technique used in this research was content analysis techniques. Data were analyzed using an interactive analysis: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. Data of content feasibility and language feasibility were analyzed by instrument which is based on the relevant theories and information, and assessment of multiple sources. The validity test of the data used triangulation of research and theory. In triangulation researchers involved two other researchers, namely Yessi Estifalia (YE) and Dwi Ratna (DR). Content Feasibility was reviewed from material suitability, accuracy of the material, and the content of learning materials, while the language feasibility was reviewed from language conformity with the level of learners’ development, communicative, and coherent and unity of ideas. From the analysis it can be concluded that: (a) the content feasibility of the seventh grade Javanese text book “Marsudi Basa lan Sastra Jawa” obtained 85.73% of total average score of 82.3 and a maximum score of 96, (b) the language feasibility the seventh grade Javanese text book “Marsudi Basa lan Sastra Jawa” obtained 82.85% of total average score of 23.2 and a maximum score of 28, which still contained 72 mistakes such as spelling, diction, words, and sentences used.

Abstract

Perkembangan proses belajar mengajar jauh ini mempunyai dampak moralitas kepada para pelajar masa kini salah satunya unggah-ungguh siswa dalam berkehidupan. Kurangnya inovasi tersebut menutup salah satu pintu ilmu baru bagi siswa. Melalui pembelajaran sastra dirasa mumpuni untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Adanya inovasi dalam pembelajaran dengan menambahkan aspek sosial budaya dalam cerita legenda merupakan salah satu contoh konkrit tindakan yang dapat ditujukan oleh siswa. Aspek sosial budaya dalam cerita legenda Terjadinya Bledug Kuwu dapat menjadi referensi siswa dalam mengetahui nilai-nilai luhur dalam cerita legenda dan dapat menerapkan unggah-ungguhnya di dalam berkehidupan dan bermasyarakat serta menambah wawasan kepada siswa mengenai seluk beluk suatu cerita legenda yang terdapat di daerah sekitar wilayah mereka. Aspek sosial budaya dalam cerita legenda Terjadinya Bledug Kuwu digunakan sebagai materi ajar khususnya untuk kelas VIII SMP dengan menjabarkan aspek sosial budaya yang terdapat unsur intrinsik sebuah cerita legenda. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dan metode penelitian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menemukan hasil mengenai aspek sosial budaya dalam cerita legenda Terjadinya Bledug Kuwu dan relevansinya sebagai materi ajar bahasa Jawa kelas VIII SMP pada KD legenda. Hasil termuan tersebut berupa aspek sosial dan aspek budaya dalam cerita legenda dan alasan cerita legenda Terjadinya Bledug Kuwu tersebut relevan menjadi materi ajar untuk siswa SMP khususnya kelas VIII.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain: (1) the form of politeness in speech act within Andhe-Andhe Lumut Folklore by Sunjaya: and (2) relevance of Andhe-Andhe Lumut Folklore by Sunjaya as a teaching material for 7th Grade Junior High Student s in order to understand a folklore itself. The writer uses documents and some informants as the research’s data sources. Purposive sampling is usedto determine the sample used in this research, while data collection is done by using interview and documents analysis techniques. In this research, the writer uses data source triangulation and politeness theory to test the validity of collected data. In analysis part, the writer uses interactive data analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presenting and concluding remark stages. As for the results of this study, the writer find that: (1) In the folklore story book of ‘Andhe-Andhe Lumut written by Sunjaya, it is found that politeness takes form in both assertive, directive and expressive speech acts, with directive speech acts being the most common one. The directive speech act is regularly used in the folklore, because most of the utterances (statements) found in the story are asking for a response. (2) It can be concluded that Andhe-Andhe Lumut Folklore by Sunjaya is a relevant teaching material to understand a folklore story for 7th grade Junior High School students based on the folklore’s curriculum, languages, psychological and cultural aspect. First, according to the Junior High School Curriculums of 2013, it is stated that understanding folklore is one of the basic competences that should have been mastered in the first semester of 7th grade students. Secondly, Andhe-Andhe Lumut by Sunjaya uses a polite language that can be a good example for the students to learn to use a polite and proper Javanese Language in their daily lives. Thirdly, in terms of psychological aspects, the story is suitable with the mental development of 7th grader students. And finally, the story shared a similar cultural background with its readers who areJavanese, so it is highly relevant and related with the readers’ values.

Abstract

Peneliti melakukan wawancara kepada guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa di salah satu sekolah. Dari hasil wawancara tersebut diketahui bahwa pada kegiatan pembelajaran crita cekak guru hanya menggunakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan buku teks. Berkaitan dengan hal itu, maka diperlukan materi ajar yang berasal dari majalah, seperti kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met pada majalah Djaka Lodang yang berpotensi untuk dijadikan sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Jawa. Sehubungan dengan itu, peneliti mengkajinya dengan menggunakan pendekatan stilistika. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa, citraan, dan nilai pendidikan karakter, serta relevansinya sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Jawa di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase tertinggi penggunaan gaya bahasa kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met yaitu gaya bahasa antitesis sebesar 22.92% dan persentase terendahnya yaitu gaya bahasa asindenton dan polisindenton sebesar 1.04%. Persentase tertinggi penggunaan citraan kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met yaitu citraan gerak (kinestetik) sebesar 34.23% dan persentase terendahnya yaitu citraan penciuman sebesar 1.34%. Persentase tertinggi nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met yaitu nilai kejujuran sebesar 26% dan persentase terendahnya yaitu nilai menghargai prestasi dan gemar membaca sebesar 1%. Terkait dengan relevansinya, kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met pada majalah Djaka Lodang dapat dijadikan sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Jawa di SMA pada tingkat X semester gasal.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) expediency of Teams Game Tournament method blended with media Game Powerquiz to optimize piwulang text learning; and (2) response assessment from specialist of materials lecturer, specialist of media lecturer and teacher, and reaction from students of class 8th Junior High School about Teams Game Tournament method blended with media Game Powerquiz. The method used is R&D (Research and Development). The datas were collected ares informant and document and then to be analyzed with description qualitative and quantitative for describing expediency of Teams Game Tournament method blended with media Game Powerquiz to optimize piwulang text learning for students of class 8th Junior High School. Result of this research to show that: (1) development process was conducted in some phases covering analysis phase, developer observed the curriculum; design phase, developer designed material and game; development phase, developer made storyboard or draft for development learning media; validate phase, for evaluated material and media; and final phase, to corrected last evaluate; also result of assessment from specialist of materials lecturer 89,7 is very good assessment, result of assessment from specialist of media lecturer 89,5 is very good assessment, result of assessment from teacher 96,6 is very good assessment. Also positive responses from students to proving about Teams Game Tournament method blended with media Game Powerquiz able to be optimize for piwulang text learning.
