Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research which aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge and the use of social media on the interest in entrepreneurship of Riau University FKIP students. The population in this study was 1,404 students, with a sample of 93 students. This research uses secondary data and primary data. Secondary data was obtained through entrepreneurship course grades, while primary data was obtained through questionnaires. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The research results show that entrepreneurial knowledge and the use of social media have a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of FKIP Riau University students with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 68.1% at a significance level smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000. This shows that the better the entrepreneurial knowledge obtained, the greater the student's interest in entrepreneurship and the greater the use of social media, the greater the interest in entrepreneurship of FKIP University of Riau students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic literacy and lifestyle on the impulse buying behavior of students at SMA Negeri 2 Siak Hulu. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Siak Hulu with a total of 210 students. The sample of this research was 138 students with purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used a questionnaire containing tests and questionnaires which were distributed via the Google form and the data collected was then tabulated and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing is done by partial significant test and simultaneous test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that economic literacy had a significant negative effect on the impulse buying behavior of students at SMA Negeri 2 Siak Hulu, lifestyle had a positive and significant effect on the impulse buying behavior of students at SMA Negeri 2 Siak Hulu, economic literacy and lifestyle had a positive and significant effect on impulse buying behavior of students of SMA Negeri 2 Siak Hulu.

Abstract

This research aims to find out (1) how the use of social media is related to the sustainability of the chili crackers MSME business in Dumai City. (2) and what is the relationship between creativity and the sustainability of the chili cracker UMKM business in Dumai City. This research is included in quantitative research. The population in this study were 20 Chili Cracker MSME businesses in Dumai City with a research sample of 15 Chili Cracker MSME businesses in Dumai City. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This research uses descriptive analysis techniques, normality tests and Spearman rank correlation statistical tests. The results of this research show (1) the use of social media has a positive and significant relationship with the sustainability of the chili cracker MSME business in Dumai City. (2) creativity has a positive and significant relationship with the sustainability of the chili cracker MSME business in Dumai City.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran, manajemen emosi berguna untuk siswa, agar proses penerimaan pengetahuan atau proses belajarnya berjalan dengan baik. Sejatinya, siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan manajemen emosi yang baik akan mengurangi stress akademik pada dirinya, begitupun sebaliknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan manajemen emosi siswa melalui mindfulness sebelum pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), melalui intervensi mindfulness dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, selama dua siklus yang berlangsung selama satu minggu. Proses mindfulness dimulai dari latihan pernapasan, dilanjutkan dengan meditasi singkat yang dilakukan sebelum pelajaran dimulai dengan panduan untuk tetap fokus pada momen saat ini tanpa menghakimi, serta peran guru sebagai fasilitator dalam memastikan konsistensi latihan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas X di SMAS Cendana Pekanbaru dengan jumlah subjek penelitian 46 orang. Hasil penelitian, menemukan bahwa penerapan mindfulness sebelum pembelajaran efektif meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen emosi siswa dalam hal kesadaran emosi, pengelolaan emosi, konsentrasi dan kesiapan belajar siswa. Maka dari itu, diharapkan guru harus mampu untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan mindfulness ini dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The 21st Century demands innovative educational models that incorporate technological advances to support research and teaching. This study examines the need to develop a research-based history learning model using the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework (RBL-TPACK) to enhance history education. The research adopts a Research and Development (RD) approach, focusing on the analysis stage. Participants include 27 history lecturers and 107 students. Data collection involved observations, interviews, and questionnaires, with qualitative analysis used to assess the necessity of RBL-TPACK in history education. Findings indicate that research-based learning (RBL) is crucial for supporting lecturers' tridharma responsibilities and enriching local history education. However, the integration of RBL into lecture content and outputs remains suboptimal. Students demonstrated a strong preference for incorporating lecturers' research outputs into learning materials. The integration of digital tools via the TPACK framework offers a promising approach, enhancing theoretical and practical learning dynamics. The study highlights the potential of RBL-TPACK to foster historical thinking skills and enrich learning experiences. Despite its importance, gaps in integrating RBL and digital tools into teaching practices persist. Addressing these gaps through a structured RBL-TPACK model can better meet the demands of modern history education. Developing an effective and contextually relevant RBL-TPACK model is vital to advancing history education and addressing the challenges of 21st-century learning. This foundational analysis underscores the need for further development and implementation of this innovative approach.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang semakin pesat memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan termasuk dunia pendidikan. Penggunaan media pembelajaran digital yang interaktif dan menyenangkan menjadi salah satu tren yang semakin populer dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Namun implementasi pembelajaran digital di sekolah menghadapi keterbatasan sumber daya dan berbagai tantangan, di antaranya masih banyak guru yang belum memiliki kompetensi yang memadai dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pembelajaran. Hal ini juga dialami oleh guru-guru di SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Provinsi Riau. Oleh karena itu, tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melatih dan mendampingi 25 orang guru di sekolah tersebut dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital yang interaktif dengan memanfaatkan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan aplikasi Canva. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktik (workshop) yang dilaksanakan dalam satu sesi kegiatan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur pengetahuan serta kemampuan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menemukan adanya peningkatan kompetensi guru, di antaranya: pengetahuan tentang AI meningkat dari skor rata-rata 1,52 menjadi 3,46 atau sebesar 90%, dan pengetahuan tentang Canva meningkat dari 2,13 menjadi 4,01 sebesar 88%. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan hardskill guru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran digital berbasis AI dan Canva, sekaligus memperkuat softskill kolaborasi dan kreativitas dalam proses pengembangan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Kata kunci: pelatihan; pendampingan; media pembelajaran; artificial intelligence; aplikasi canva Abstract The rapid development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including education. The use of interactive and enjoyable digital learning media has become an increasingly popular trend in efforts to improve the quality of learning. However, the implementation of digital learning in schools faces resource constraints and various challenges, including the fact that many teachers still lack adequate competence in utilizing technology for learning. This is also experienced by teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar in Riau Province. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to train and assist 25 teachers at the school in developing interactive digital learning media by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Canva application. The methods used include lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and workshops, which are carried out in one session. The evaluation was conducted through the distribution of pretest and posttest questionnaires to measure the participants' knowledge and abilities. The results of the activity found an increase in teacher competence, including: knowledge of AI increased from an average score of 1.52 to 3.46 or 90%, and knowledge of Canva increased from 2.13 to 4.01 or 88%. Thus, this activity has proven to be able to improve teachers' hard skills in creating AI and Canva-based digital learning media, while also strengthening their soft skills of collaboration and creativity in the process of developing innovative learning media. Keywords: training; mentoring; learning media; artificial intelligence; canva application.
