Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the influence of learning technology on teacher performance; (2) the influence of social support on teacher performance; and (3) the simultaneous influence of learning technology and social support on teacher performance. This research is a quantitative study using a multiple correlation method. The study was conducted at public elementary schools in Muara Sugihan District, with 92 teachers as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The validity test used construct validity, while the reliability test employed Cronbach’s Alpha. The prerequisite tests included normality, homogeneity, and linearity tests. The data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed that learning technology and social support have both partial and simultaneous influences on teacher performance in public elementary schools in Muara Sugihan District. The contribution of learning technology and social support variables to teacher performance was 28.2%, while the remaining 71.8% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to explain: (1) the quality of the principal’s leadership at SD Negeri 26 Muara Sugihan; (2) the performance of teachers at SD Negeri 26 Muara Sugihan; and (3) strategies for improving learning quality through the principal’s leadership and teacher performance. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 26 Muara Sugihan, involving seven informants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the principal’s leadership quality has a significant influence on teacher performance and learning quality. The principal demonstrates communicative and adaptive leadership characteristics and is capable of supporting the implementation of contextual curricula. In addition, the principal is proactive in providing coaching and professional development. This leadership quality serves as a key factor in creating a conducive learning environment. The study also found that teacher performance is in an improving phase; teachers have begun to apply varied teaching methods and integrate technology, although the implementation is not yet evenly distributed due to capacity limitations, administrative demands, and inadequate facilities. The principal’s role in supervision, mentoring, and professional support is identified as a driving factor in enhancing teacher performance. Furthermore, improving learning quality is carried out through continuous coaching, exemplary leadership, strengthened collaboration, innovation, and emotional and technical support. Teachers perceive that the leadership applied is open and provides space for professional growth. With a combination of enhanced teacher competence, improved facilities, and continuous evaluation, the learning quality at SD Negeri 26 Muara Sugihan has the potential to continue improving.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze: (1) the influence of competency training on teacher performance; (2) the influence of teachers’ work motivation on teacher performance; and (3) the simultaneous influence of competency training and teachers’ work motivation on teacher performance. This research is a quantitative study using a multiple correlation method. The study was conducted at the Gajah Mada Cluster Public Elementary Schools in Muara Sugihan District with 51 teacher respondents. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Construct validity was used for the validity test, while reliability was tested using Cronbach’s Alpha. The prerequisite analysis tests consisted of normality, homogeneity, and linearity tests, and the data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple regression techniques. The results show that competency training and teachers’ work motivation, both individually and simultaneously, significantly influence teacher performance at the Gajah Mada Cluster Public Elementary Schools in Muara Sugihan District. The combined influence of competency training and teachers’ work motivation on teacher performance is 34.4%, while the remaining 65.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the influence of teacher professionalism on teacher performance; (2) the influence of career development on teacher performance; and (3) the simultaneous influence of teacher professionalism and career development on teacher performance. This research is a quantitative study using a multiple correlation method. The study was conducted in the Pramuka Cluster elementary schools in Muara Sugihan District with 69 teacher respondents. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Construct validity was used for the validity test, while reliability was tested using Cronbach’s Alpha. Prerequisite analysis tests consisted of normality, homogeneity, and linearity tests, and the data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple regression techniques. The results of the study indicate that teacher professionalism and career development have both partial and simultaneous influences on the performance of elementary school teachers in the Pramuka Cluster, Muara Sugihan District. The influence of teacher professionalism and career development on teacher performance is 50.5%, while the remaining 49.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
