Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan (PK), kreativitas kewirausahaan (KK), dan hasrat kewirausahaan (HK) terhadap niat berwirausaha (IB) pada mahasiswa perguruan tinggi swasta di Jakarta Barat, dengan persepsi kontrol perilaku (PKP) sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang didistribusikan kepada mahasiswa. Temuan diharapkan dapat mengungkap pentingnya pendidikan kewirausahaan (PK), kreativitas kewirausahaan (KK) dan hasrat kewirausahaan (HK), dalam memengaruhi intensi berwirausaha (IB). Selain itu, peran kontrol perilaku yang dipersepsikan (PKP) dieksplorasi untuk memahami efek mediasinya dalam hubungan antara faktor-faktor kewirausahaan dan intensi berwirausaha (IB). Hasil penelitian ini akan berkontribusi pada pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang efektif dan program kewirausahaan untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan di kalangan mahasiswa. This study aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurship education (EE), entrepreneurial creativity (EC), and entrepreneurial passion (EP) on entrepreneurial intention (EI) among private university students in West Jakarta, with perceived behavioral control (PBC) as a mediating variable. The research employs a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to students. The findings are expected to reveal the importance of entrepreneurship education (EE), entrepreneurial creativity (EC), and entrepreneurial passion (EP) in shaping entrepreneurial intention (EI). Furthermore, the role of perceived behavioral control (PBC) is explored to understand its mediating effect on the relationship between entrepreneurial factors and entrepreneurial intention (EI). The results of this study will contribute to the development of effective educational strategies and entrepreneurial programs to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh efikasi diri, motivasi berwirausaha, dukungan keluarga terhadap intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa di Jakarta Barat dengan pendidikan kewirausaha sebagai variabel mediasi. Teknik pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa aktif Universitas Swasta di Jakarta Barat dengan total sebanyak 230 responden dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuisioner online menggunakan Google Form. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik PLS-SEM dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 4.0. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut, efikasi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendidikan kewirausahaan, namun efikasi diri berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha. Motivasi berwirausaha dan dukungan keluarga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendidikan kewirusahaan dan intensi berwirausaha. Pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha. Pendidikan kewirausahaan tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap intensi berwirausaha, demikian pula pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap intensi berwirausaha. Pendidikan kewirausahaan memediasi secara parsial pengaruh motivasi berwirusaha terhadap intensi berwirausaha. This study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy, entrepreneurial motivation, and family support on the entrepreneurial intention of students in West Jakarta, with entrepreneurship education as a mediating variable. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. The population comprises students from private universities in West Jakarta, with a total of 230 respondents. Data collection was conducted through an online questionnaire using Google Forms. Data analysis was performed using the PLS-SEM technique with SmartPLS version 4.0 software. The results of this study are as follows: self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurship education, but self-efficacy has a positive yet insignificant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurial motivation and family support have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. However, entrepreneurship education does not mediate the effect of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention, nor does it mediate the effect of family support on entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurial education partially mediate the effect of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh inovasi dan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja bisnis pada coffee shop di Jakarta Utara dengan manajemen pengetahuan sebagai variabel mediasi. Pertumbuhan industri coffee shop yang signifikan di Indonesia menuntut penerapan strategi inovasi dan kewirausahaan untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 87 responden yang terdiri dari pemilik atau manajer coffee shop, menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan metode SmartPLS 4. menunjukkan bahwa inovasi dan orientasi kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis. Selain itu, manajemen pengetahuan berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara inovasi, orientasi kewirausahaan, dan kinerja bisnis. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan strategi inovasi, orientasi kewirausahaan, dan pengelolaan pengetahuan dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan kinerja bisnis coffee shop, khususnya di wilayah dengan persaingan tinggi seperti Jakarta Utara. This study aims to identify the influence of innovation and entrepreneurial orientation on business performance in coffee shops in North Jakarta, with knowledge management as a mediating variable. The significant growth of the coffee shop industry in Indonesia necessitates the implementation of innovation and entrepreneurial strategies to enhance competitiveness. Data were collected through questionnaires completed by 87 respondents, consisting of coffee shop owners or managers, using purposive sampling. Data analysis using the SmartPLS 4. method revealed that innovation and entrepreneurial orientation have a significant positive effect on business performance. Furthermore, knowledge management acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between innovation, entrepreneurial orientation, and business performance. These findings underscore the importance of adopting innovation strategies, entrepreneurial orientation, and knowledge management to enhance competitiveness and business performance, particularly in highly competitive areas such as North Jakarta.

Abstract

Tingkat pengangguran membaik seiring pertumbuhan ekonomi. Semangat berwirausaha merupakan komponen kunci penggerak pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia. Beberapa kunci yang mempengaruhi dinamika kewirausahaan meliputi motivasi untuk berwirausaha, pembelajaran kewirausahaan, penggunaan media sosial, serta efikasi diri. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman terhadap faktor-faktor ini sangat penting untuk mendorong minat berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuannuntuk menguji pengaruh motivasi berwirausaha, pembelajaran kewirausahaan, dan penggunaan media sosial terhadap minat berwirausaha melalui efikasi diri pada mahasiswa di Jakarta Barat. Melalui penggunaan kuisioner daring, 200 responden menjadi sampel yang dikumpulkan untuk penelitian ini. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan analisis Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan perangkat lunakkSmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berwirausaha pembelajaran kewirausahaan, dan efikasi diri berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha. Sedangkan, penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh secara positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha. Lalu, motivasi berwirausaha, pembelajaran kewirausahaan, dan penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap efikasi diri. Selain itu, motivasi berwirausaha dan penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh secara positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha melalui efikasi diri. Dan pembelajarannkewirausahaan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadapmminatbberwirausaha melalui efikasi diri. Berdasarkan kesimpulan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam peningkatan pemanfaatan media sosial dalam kehidupan berwirausaha mahasiswa.   The unemployment rate improves as the economy grows.  The entrepreneurial spirit is a key component of Indonesia's economic development drivers. Several key factors that influence the dynamics of entrepreneurship include motivation to become an entrepreneur, entrepreneurial learning, the use of social media, and self-efficacy. Therefore, understanding these factors is crucial to encourage entrepreneurial interest. This study aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial learning, and the use of social media on entrepreneurship interest through self-efficacy among students in West Jakarta. Through the use of an online questionnaire, 200 respondents made up the sample gathered for this study. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The result of this study indicates that entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial learning, and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurship interest. Meanwhile, the use of social media has a positive but not significant effect on entrepreneurship interest. Furthermore, entrepreneurial-motivation, entrepreneurial learning, and the use of social media have a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy. In addition, entrepreneurial motivation and the use of social media have a positive but not significant effect on entrepreneurial interest through self-efficacy. On the other hand, entrepreneurial learning has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest through self-efficacy. Based on the findings, this research is expected to contribute to enhancing the utilization of social media in students’ entrepreneurial activities.

Abstract

Through an empirical analysis, this study aims to determine how innovation (IN), proactiveness (PR) and risk-taking (RT) affect the Small and Medium Enterprises performance (SMEs Perf) venture in West Jakarta's food and beverage sector. Based on the theory of Resource Based Vied (RBV) philosophy, this study examines how organizational resources and capabilities relate to performance results. That 66 SMEs owners were surveyed online using Google Forms, and the data is gathered by using a non-probability technique, and using purposive sampling approach. SmartPLS version 4.1.0.5 software and structural equation modeling (SEM) were used for data analysis. IN has a major influence on SMEs Perf, according to the findings, whereas PR and RT have favorable but statistically minor effects on the SMEs Perf of food and beverage in West Jakarta.

Abstract

Numerous countries have made significant investments in entrepreneurship education and training to foster entrepreneurial activities. This investment is a pivotal element in the efforts of higher education institutions in Indonesia to prepare graduates to become entrepreneurs. The overarching intent of this inquiry is to empirically analyze The ramifications of entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) on entrepreneurial intention (EI) and to evaluate the moderating role of social identity (SI) in this relationship. The study employs a quantitative approach, with the population consisting of students from Tarumanagara University. A purposive sampling method was used, focusing on students majoring in entrepreneurship who enrolled between 2018 and 2022. The research relies on primary data collected directly from participants. The data analysis was executed utilizing Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The outcomes demonstrate that ESE exerts a constructive effect on EI, whereas SI does not present a statistically significant moderating role in the relationship between ESE and EI.

Abstract

The contribution of entrepreneurship to the economy has a big role. To increase the role of entrepreneurship ineconomic growth, it is necessary to introduce entrepreneurial activities from an early age. Tarsisius 1 MiddleSchool, West Jakarta introduces entrepreneurial activities to students through extracurricular activities or throughintra-curricular activities such as arts/crafts subjects, where the results of crafts can be directed into entrepreneurialactivities. Social media currently plays a very important role in entrepreneurial activities, to introduce products toconsumers, in line with the development of digitalization in the economy. Efforts to increase the role of social medianeed to be supported by displaying product photos so that they can attract potential buyers to the goods produced.The aim of understanding in increasing the role of social media in young entrepreneurs, at junior high school level,can be done by providing an introduction to techniques for taking product photos to attract potential buyers, throughbroadcasts on students' social media. Assistance to partners through the introduction of photography techniques iscarried out by the Abdimas team by providing an understanding of the importance of promotion via social media bydisplaying product photos that are more attractive to potential consumers. The appearance of photos on socialmedia will be more attractive by using appropriate photography techniques according to product promotionalpurposes. Apart from understanding the importance of promotion on social media using photography techniques,creativity is needed to support promotion. As a result of the introduction to photography techniques provided,through short practice and encouraging students to keep trying, Tarsisius I Middle School students were able to takebetter photos for later use in product promotion via social media. By using simple tools that students have,smartphones or simple cameras that they have, photo displays can be created attractively through the use ofappropriate photography techniques. The Undergraduate Management Study Program and the Institute for Researchand Community Service at Universitas Tarumanagara are collaborating with Tarsisius 1 Middle School, WestJakarta, to carry out activities to introduce photography techniques for social media, entrepreneurial activities forTarsisius 1 Middle School students, in order to stimulate creativity in displaying products and at the same timesupport them in carrying out entrepreneurial activities. ABSTRAKKontribusi wirausaha pada perekonomian memiliki peran yang besar. Untuk meningkatkan peran wirausaha dalampertumbuhan ekonomi diperlukan pengenalan kegiatan wirausaha sejak dini. SMP Tarsisius 1 Jakarta Baratmemperkenalkan kegiatan wirausaha pada siswa melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ataupun melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler seperti mata pelajaran seni/ prakarya. Media sosial saat ini sangat berperan penting dalam kegiatanwirausaha, untuk memperkenalkan produk bagi konsumen, sejalan dengan perkembangan digitalisasi dalamperekonomian. Tujuan pemahaman dalam peningkatan peran media sosial pada wirausaha muda, jenjang SMP, dapatdilakukan dengan memberikan pengenalan teknik pengambilan foto produk agar menarik calon pembeli, melaluitayangan pada media sosial yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Pendampingan kepada mitra melalui pengenalan teknikfotografi dilakukan oleh tim Abdimas dengan memberikan pemahaman pentingnya promosi melalui media sosialdengan cara menampilkan foto produk lebih menarik bagi calon konsumen. Disamping pemahaman pentingnyapromosi di media sosial dengan teknik fotografi, perlu adanya kreativitas untuk mendukung promosi. Hasil daripengenalan teknik fotografi yang diberikan, melalui praktek singkat serta dorongan siswa untuk terus mencoba,siswa SMP Tarsisius I dapat melakukan pengambilan foto lebih baik untuk selanjutnya digunakan dalam promosihasil produk melalui media sosial. Dengan menggunakan alat sederhana yang dimiliki siswa, smartphone ataupunkamera sederhana yang dimiliki, tampilan foto dapat dibuat dengan menarik. Program Studi Sarjana Manajemen danLembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Tarumanagara bekerja sama dengan Sekolah MenengahPertama Tarsisius 1 Jakarta Barat untuk melakukan kegiatan pengenalan teknik fotografi untuk media sosial kegiatanwirausaha Siswa SMP Tarsisius 1, agar dapat merangsang kreativitas dalam menampilkan produk dan sekaligusmendukung dalam melakukan kegiatan kewirausahaan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to empirically test the effect of need for achievement, need for autonomy, creativity, and risk taking on entrepreneurial intentions among students in South Tangerang. Respondents in the study amounted to 233 people who were students from three universities in Southern Tangerang. This study uses a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling in obtaining primary data to be processed using Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) software. This study discovered that the need for achievement and creativity have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, while the need for autonomy and risk taking have a positive but not significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

Women's SMEs contribute to the economy, so attention to business performance is important to improve. Efforts to improve the performance of women SMEs require knowledge of the factors that play an important role in SME performance. This research was conducted on women SMEs in Belitung district by examining several factors that affect performance, namely social networks, family support and product innovation. In previous studies, there were differences in the results of several researchers on the influence of determining factors on performance, so this research will fill this gap as well as test the role of product innovation as a mediator of social networks and family support on business performance. By using the cross-section method, 113 women’s SMEs were obtained who have been running a business for a minimum of 1.5 years and are engaged in the processing industry. Data analysis with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), SmartPLS v.4.0 was used in data processing. The path coefficient results show that social network variables and product innovation have a positive and significations effect, while family support has no significations effect on SME performance. Product innovation partially mediates social networks towards women’s SMEs performance, while product innovation fully mediates family support on women’s SMEs performance. Family support has no significations effect towards women’s SMEs performance, this illustrates that women’s SMEs lack family support in their business activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of entrepreneurship education and family background on entrepreneurial intentions in UNTAR students with gender as moderation. The technique of taking elements in this research uses non-probability sampling with a convenience sampling approach. Elements in this research are students who are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at UNTAR with a total of 200 people. Data were calculated using the PLS-SEM approach. The results of this research explain that entrepreneurship education and family background have an increasing and significant impact on the intention to become an entrepreneur in UNTAR students. Gender positively moderates entrepreneurship education and family background on the intention to become an entrepreneur in UNTAR students.
