Abstract

The manual prescription process has a potential of error, which can lead to undesirable consequences, particularly for patients. As the advancement of technology, the use of decision support systems is necessary to minimize errors in prescription delivery. In this study, a decision support system module will be developed to assist prescription process by transferring knowledge possessed by experts as the knowledge base of the system. This module will use rule-based method as the decision-making method by applying validated rules based on the acquired knowledge base. To test the accuracy of the module’s output, test case design will be used as the method. The result of the research showed that all tested scenarios have the same results as the expected results, indicating that the use of rule-based expert system us effective in developing this decision support module. However, the module can still be improved by adding more data as the knowledge base or integrating the module directly with existing system in clinic or hospital.

Abstract

Every time a new academic year begins, the UKDW Informatics study program will provide courses that students can choose when registering. The courses provided are basically divided into compulsory courses and elective courses. Based on these 2 types of courses, for Informatics students, especially in choosing elective courses, it is often adjusted to each student's area of interest. This area of interest is then adjusted to the courses available at the time of registration, however, Informatics students often experience confusion in choosing courses at the time of registration. Therefore, this research will design a course recommendation system that is used to help recommend courses to UKDW Informatics Students before registering. There are 2 engines used by the system, namely Python and Laravel. Python is used to process recommendations, while Laravel is only used to display recommendations. The recommendation process carried out by Python will use Collaborative Filtering which has processes including collecting data in the form of course rating results, processing similarities between courses for each area of interest, and calculating an evaluation matrix using MAP. Then the results of the highest similarity will be used as criteria for displaying recommendations. The results of the recommendations will then be checked using Laravel, so that each student can have different course recommendations.                   The system was tested with 10 test cases in the form of student scenarios from the classes of 2021, 2020 and 2019. The test case results show the courses that students should take, while the evaluation is related to the results of the courses recommended by the system. The testcase evaluation results were stated to have a success rate of 80% based on 8 out of 10 successful testcases. Furthermore, the system has an accuracy level for subjects of interest of 46.36% which is calculated using the Mean Average Precision (MAP) method by averaging based on the precision of 10 testcases. Precision is calculated by comparing the courses in the field of interest that have been recommended with the courses in the field of interest that have been taken in each test case.

Abstract

Kompetisi Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) yang rutin diselenggarakan setiap tahunnya membutuhkan persiapan dari siswa-siswa sekolah yang ingin mengikuti kompetisi tersebut.  SMA Pangudi Luhur Yogyakarta ingin mengikuti kompetisi tersebut dengan mengirimkan beberapa siswanya, sehingga membutuhkan pelatihan OSN untuk siswa-siswanya. Tim PKM dari Fakultas Teknologi Informasi bersedia untuk mengadakan pelatihan OSN dengan menyiapkan materi-materi dengan topik algoritma, logika dan aritmatika sesuai dengan silabus OSN.  Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 14 pertemuan di kampus Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana.  Pelatihan tersebut telah berhasil dilaksanakan dengan baik dan berhasil memenuhi kebutuhan dari pihak sekolah. Pada materi algoritma didapatkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai post-test terhadap rata-rata nilai pre-test, yaitu meningkat dari 57,14 menjadi 97,14. Hasil evaluasi dari pelaksanaan pelatihan ini secara umum sudah baik dan sesuai kebutuhan, walaupun ada beberapa permasalahan seperti jadwal pelatihan yang terpaksa mundur dan tingkat partisipasi siswa yang makin menurun pada beberapa pertemuan akhir.

Abstract

Mission 21 Asia merupakan organisasi kemasyarakatan yang berpusat Basel, Switzerland. Mission 21 memiliki berbagai program pelatihan untuk pengembangan diri baik bagi anggota maupun masyarakat umum. Saat ini belum dilakukan pengolahan data yang terstuktur dan tersistem untuk program pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan. Kebutuhan pengelolaan data hasil pelatihan yang rutin diadakan oleh suatu institusi menjadi hal yang diperlukan untuk evaluasi dan pengukuran kinerja hasil pelatihan. Selain itu pengelolaan data alumni dari sebuah program pelatihan sangat dibutuhkan untuk memudahkan proses pencarian data. Berdasarkan kebutuhan tersebut Mission 21 Asia dituntut untuk memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk membantu pengelolaan data alumni dan mitra mereka yang tersebar di berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (FTI UKDW) bekerjasama dengan Mission 21 Asia memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengelolaan data menggunakan Google Workspace mulai dari teori hingga implementasi. Materi pelatihan meliputi pemanfaatan Google Forms, pengelolaan data dilakukan baik secara online maupun onsite melalui aplikasi pengolah data, hingga mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi dashboard sederhana yang bisa dimanfaatkan secara langsung oleh para mitra Mission 21. Hasil pelatihan adalah peningkatan kemampuan peserta untuk membuat sistem data base alumni berdasarkan kebutuhan informasi yang diharapkan. Peserta memahami bagaimana mengolah informasi alumni melalui pengembangan sistem manajemen alumni.

Abstract

Most of the research using the Arima (p,d,q) focused on the accuracy of prediction results. Unlike other research, this work examines the training data period suitable for modeling ARIMA (p,d,q) in stock prices. Due to the volatile movement of stocks, the number of training data is assumed to affect the LQ45 prediction results. This research used five kinds of training data, including daily data for up to 5 years. With these five types of data series, the Arima (p,d,q) was made for LQ45 stocks. The prediction was conducted for two months after obtaining the model 5 data series of LQ45 stocks. Two months of data were used for January and February 2021 prediction test data. The results of this prediction were compared with the test data to produce the MAPE value. Based on the observations and calculation results, the most suitable stock to use the Arima (p,d,q) was ASII. In 5 years, the stocks produced the lowest MAPE value of 0.05%. Relatively stable LQ45 stocks with no change in the Arima (p,d,q) using four consecutive data series were ACES, CTRA, INTP, MIKA, and TLKM. Based on the MAPE value analysis performed in this study, we concluded that the best period to use the Arima (p,d,q) for LQ45 stocks is two years, with a median error rate of only 6.0091%.

Abstract

Cafe Nutri Eatery merupakan kafe yang berlokasi di salah satu rumah sakit di Yogyakarta. Saat ini aktivitas pengolahan data transaksi penjualan dilakukan menggunakan alat bernama EDC Android. Aplikasi yang digunakan merupakan aplikasi kasir komersial yang dilanggankan dengan pihak ketiga. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan kebutuhan pengolahan data perusahaan dengan aplikasi yang dilanggankan dengan pihak ketiga. Kesulitan ini mendorong perusahaan untuk melakukan pengembangan sistem kasir berbasis mobile yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan cafe. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan gabungan metode RAD (Rapid Application Development) dan metode Double Diamond. Metode RAD banyak digunakan untuk membangun sistem secara cepat dan adaptif. Sementara metode Double Diamond merupakan suatu metode yang memiliki fleksibel, sehingga metode ini digunakan untuk mengembangkan Application Programming Interface (API) sebagai pengendali lalu lintas data antara aplikasi dan server. Sistem yang dikembangkan mampu mengolah data dan menghasilkan informasi penjualan bagi perusahaan. Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan mengguna metode pengujian blackbox. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil dan siap digunakan untuk mendukung penjualan pada perusahaan.

Abstract

Indoor Positioning System (IPS) can determine someone’s position inside a building. The common method used is implemented by WiFi signal strength analising. This paper discusses about how to do IPS using K-Means and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method, that also analyze the accuracy. K-Means is used to cluster dataset. Each data in certain cluster then classified using KNN method. The dataset consists of 11658 Received Signal Strength (RSS) from 177 Access Point (AP) in UKDW. Accuracy of system analized using 10-fold Cross Validation method which is applied in a range of k=2 to k=11 for clusterisation process, then k=1 to k=5 for classification process. Based on the experiment results, system can determine someone’s position with 88.49% accuracy which k optimum is 10 for clusterisation process, and k=1 for classification process.

Abstract

Air Conditioner (AC) devices in Duta Wacana Christian University 2nd floor Agape computer laboratory are turned on in the morning and turned off in the evening manually by the computer laboratory officer every day after all the classes are over. Whereas there are sessions when laboratory rooms are not used, but the AC is still on. So, there is a waste of electricity. It wastes time and energy in vain. Therefore, the implementation of AC control and scheduling can be the solution. The implementation includes a program for PC that is used to control the AC and IR module that is attached to the computer laboratory’s AC. IR module consists of NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller and IR LED. All microcontrollers are connected to the internet over a WiFi network. The microcontroller substitutes conventional remote control. From the result, it can be concluded that the AC control and scheduling system is successfully implemented and worked well with good performance. After the system is implemented, computer laboratory officers no longer need to turn on and off the AC manually every day. Therefore, it can save energy and time. Besides that, waste of electrical energy can be minimized, because AC will turn off automatically when the laboratory room is not used.

Abstract

The research aims to develop a student admission system for Maria Immaculata Junior High School to improve the current inefficient process relying on Google Forms and manual document submission. In This Article, The waterfall methodology will be employed for system development, while questionnaires and usability testing will be used for user evaluation then using through questionnaires and usability testing. The research will involve PPDB (Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru) staff and parents as respondents. Initial requirements will be gathered through observation and interviews with PPDB committee members. After analysis, the system's database and user interface will be designed and implemented. Testing will be conducted with PPDB staff to obtain feedback and make necessary improvements who can impacted to School or programs. Finally, the system will be deployed for public use. The system's usability was evaluated through questionnaires and usability testing. The results indicate high levels of ease of use, ease of learning, usefulness, and satisfaction, with an overall usability score of 83%. This suggests that the developed system is effective and well-received by users.

Abstract

Pondok Pemulihan Sahabat saat ini menangani 54 orang klien dengan gangguan jiwa skizofrenia, dipantau oleh oleh 4 orang terdiri dari 1 pembina, 2 psikolog (klinis dan sosial), dan 1 asisten medis. Proses pemantauan menggunakan pencatatan harian secara manual dalam buku catatan eval_uasi, dari pantauan peneliti sistem ini terbukti kurang informatif dan sulit dipahami, menyulitkan pemantau dalam memantau dan memahami perkembangan kesehatan klien. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi, peneliti memfokuskan permasalahan penelitian pada sumber data kesehatan klien yang diperoleh dari buku catatan eval_uasi harian Pondok Pemulihan Sahabat. Penyimpanan data pada dashboard akan merujuk pada buku catatan eval_uasi harian, yang mencakup catatan kesehatan mental dan medis klien. Penerapan hasil penelitian ditujukan untuk memperbaiki sistem pemantauan kesehatan klien di Pondok Pemulihan Sahabat, khususnya untuk pembina, psikolog, dan asisten medis yang terlibat dalam pemantauan dan perawatan klien. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah dashboard analitik sesuai dengan KPI yang dibuat berdasarkan buku catatan harian klien dengan tingkat informatif 63% dan tingkat kemudahan sebesar 71%.
