Abstract

The problem encountered in the study was that the lack of ability in short story writing skills in grade IV students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang properly. This study aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on the ability to write short stories in grade IV students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang. The type of research used is experimental and using a one-group pretest-protest design experiment. The population of this research is SD Negeri 195 Palembang. The sample in this study was fourth grade students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang with a total of 23 students. Collection techniques in this study using tests. The instrument used is the short story writing test. The criterion for success in this research is what if the minimum average value is 76. Data analysis techniques are processed by hypothesis testing and t-test. Based on the results of the analysis conclusions show that there is a significant effect of the use of audio-visual media on the ability to write short stories in grade IV students at SD Negeri 195 Palembang, with a tcount of 3.689 > ttable of 2.079. So it can be concluded that there is an influence in the use of audio-visual media in short story writing skills in class IV elementary school students.

Abstract

The study aims to produce a two dimensional illustrative media development quartet card for reading skills, which have been tested and meet valid, practical, and effective criteria and can thus help students to master reading skills easily. The kind of research used was development research. The development model used in the research is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Evaluation) The subject in this study is the second graders of the elementary school at 15 Gunung Megang. The data on this study is generated from validation angkets, student responses figures, and demonstrative test of reading skills. The results from the angkett-based research team that assesses the quality of two-dimensional image and quartet card asa whole score 90.4% in a highly valid and usable category at the field test stage. Student responses score 94.25% in the highly practical category. The results of the demonstration test of the skill read of the entire student scored 86.17% in an excellent category. Based on data obtained, it could be concluded that a two-dimensional image quartet medium can be used asa primary school student learning medium

Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of the demonstration method using real media on the results of learning science in class V SDN 88 Palembang. The method used is this research research using experimental research methods (experimental research). In this study, researchers used a quasi-experimental design, namely the posttest only control design. The subjects in this study were class IV.1 and class IV.2 which totaled 54 students. Data collection is done by testing and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique uses test questions which are tested for validity and reliability. The results of the data analysis showed that the results of the hypothesis test showed that the t value was 2.942 > 1.675 t table and the significance value was <0.05 (0.005 <0.05). So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the demonstration method using real media on student learning outcomes in Class IV Science learning at SDN 88 Palembang.

Abstract

students' emotional abilities and have a positive impact on emotional management. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of meditation on the ability to manage students' self-emotions at SD Negeri 1 Bubusan, especially for class V so that they can train their minds to focus or practice calm so they can divert attention. negative energy to positive activity. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods using data collection techniques in this study, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative descriptive method is a method with data collected in the form of words or sentences as well as pictures that have concrete meaning and understanding. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was shown that meditation which was carried out at SD Negeri 1 Bubusan class V, which consisted of 24 students and 5 students as samples, had a good impact on managing students' self-emotions by applying meditation to children. can have a positive impact on students' abilities. students in managing their own emotions, children are able to manage emotions in class and can train concentration and the mind becomes calmer then can improve moral behavior and mental health to be better than before.
