Abstract

The development of Islam is currently experiencing relatively rapid development, mainly supported by technological developments. Islam views technological developments as opportunities for effective da'wah. In addition to facilitating the da'wah process, the existence of technology makes preachers more able to reach Mad'u from all walks of life. Da'i preaches with da'wah material that is readily accepted by the community by adjusting the geographic location, psychology, and intellectual capacity of Mad'u. The research method used in this article was a qualitative method using a literature approach. The result of this article is the da'wah process of contemporary preachers who carry out cosmopolitan Islamic da'wah by upholding the value of tolerance so that all levels of society can accept it. Such da'wah will provide a complex understanding for Mad'u to accept each other's differences within the framework of the Indonesian state.

Abstract

This study describes several main aspects, including the early period of the development of Islamic historiography and the transformation of Islamic history writing from time to time. This study uses the literature review method and thematic analysis. This analysis technique has three stages: compare, contrast, and criticize. The results of this study indicate that the historiography of the development of classical Islam includes studies of pre-Islamic Arab society, which became the initial foundation for the tradition of writing Islamic history. During this period, historiography was marked by the emergence of various genres, such as maghazi (stories of the Prophet Muhammad's wars), sirah (biography of the Prophet Muhammad), tarikh or akhbar (historical records and news), and nasab (genealogy). Along with the development of the era, this tradition began to be integrated with the methodology of dirayah (content criticism) and riwayah (sanad criticism) in compiling and verifying historical narratives. Geographically, Islamic historiography developed through various schools, such as the Yemeni school, the Medina school, and the Iraqi school, each of which had a different focus and approach to recording historical events. In addition, philosophical thought, kalam science (rational theology), tasawuf (Islamic spirituality), and Fiqh (Islamic law) also enriched the intellectual dynamics of that period, making a major contribution to the development of Islamic science and civilization

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of the use of digital technology on the effectiveness of business plan preparation by young entrepreneurs in Banjarmasin city. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire assisted by google form. The number of samples in this study were 100 young entrepreneurs in Banjarmasin City. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of the SmartPLs program. The results showed that business planning software and social media and digital platforms have a significant effect on the effectiveness of business plan preparation in Banjarmasin City. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that young entrepreneurs in Banjarmasin should make greater use of business planning software as well as digital platforms and social media to enhance the effectiveness of their business plan development. Local governments, training institutions, and business communities can use these findings as a basis for designing more targeted digital training and mentoring programs.

Abstract

Video game has been in high demand recently and the historical events as the settings of video games in Metal Gear Solid V series and Ghost of Tsushima make the story of the video games more immersive. However, how this video games story and their gameplay system interact are not addressed yet from social semiotic perspective. From this perspective, this study aims to analyze the story of two mentioned video games and how this story can be in balance with its gameplay system. This research also offers an alternative point of view of how narratology and ludology should collaborate in video game discourse.  This research used social semiotic approach, applying Kress and van Leeuwen Analysis on moving images and genre analysis by Martin and Rose. The data of this research are video game narratives and gameplay system This study used four steps: collecting, viewing and logging, taking sample, and analyzing the data in collecting and analyzing technique as an adaptation of the multimodal method from Bezemer and Jewitt. The result of this study shows that those selected video games were developed into what Ensslin stated about Mastery-Mentoring-Choice category for the protagonist. The meso-macro level of discourse in two mentioned video games allow the players to upgrade weapons and equipment without disturbing the flows of the story. In Metal Gear Solid V series, the stories flows with orientation-complication-temporary resolution pattern, and the gameplay allow players to upgrade the base because of having main mission to help other nations from colonialism. Meanwhile, in Ghost of Tsushima, the story flows with orientation-complication-resolution pattern and the gameplay allows players only to upgrade character skills because of having main mission to fight the invaders. Future scholars can address the micro-meso analysis in social semiotics and how the video game players make their choices.

Abstract

Abstract: As the gig economy era reshapes the global workforce, job readiness demands more than technical skills. Therefore, transformative thinking, creativity, and English competence become crucial. This study aims to explore how students from various backgrounds perceive the importance and the role of English competence, transformative thinking, and creative thinking in the gig economy era. Furthermore, this study also analyzes the relation between students’ socioeconomic background and their level of English competence toward their job readiness. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through a reflective instrument based on open-ended questions designed to explore students’ views and strategies in facing the challenges of the gig economy era. Fifty-one students with different characteristics, including high and low achievers and socioeconomic backgrounds, volunteered for the study. Thematic analysis was used to identify mindsets and work readiness that emerged from their narratives. The findings revealed that English competence is strongly related to self-confidence, professional communication effectiveness, and the ability to build global connections. Meanwhile, transformative and creative thinking encourages students to think critically, adapt to change, design creative solutions, and think outside the box. Furthermore, developing work readiness requires motivation, engagement, and reflective thinking because these qualities enable students to adapt, learn, and perform well regardless of their financial situation.

This study focuses on Islamic historiography in the classical period, which has significant significance for analysis. Historiography, as a method and framework for reconstructing history, plays a central role in laying the foundations for writing history. This study describes several main aspects, including the early period of the development of Islamic historiography and the transformation of Islamic history writing from time to time. This study uses the literature review method and thematic analysis. This analysis technique has three stages: compare, contrast, and criticize. The results of this study indicate that the historiography of the development of classical Islam includes studies of pre-Islamic Arab society, which became the initial foundation for the tradition of writing Islamic history. During this period, historiography was marked by the emergence of various genres, such as maghazi (stories of the Prophet Muhammad's wars), sirah (biography of the Prophet Muhammad), tarikh or akhbar (historical records and news), and nasab (genealogy). In addition, philosophical thought, kalam science (rational theology), tasawuf (Islamic spirituality), and Fiqh (Islamic law) also enriched the intellectual dynamics of that period, making a major contribution to the development of Islamic science and civilization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of emotional awareness and mental balance in shaping the humanistic personality of students who are empathetic, tolerant, and have character. The research method used isSystematic Literature Review(SLR) by reviewing relevant scientific articles published in the last ten years through international and national academic databases. The results of the study indicate that emotional awareness contributes to improving students' self-control, empathy, and social skills, while mental balance supports psychological stability and readiness to face academic and social pressures. The discussion emphasizes the importance of integrating these two aspects in an education system that emphasizes not only cognitive achievements but also affective and psychosocial dimensions. In conclusion, strengthening emotional awareness and mental balance is an effective strategy in forming a humanistic generation capable of living harmoniously in a global society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how transforming consciousness through meditation and mindfulness practices can contribute to emotional balance and individual mental health. The background of this research is based on the increasing global psychological problems, such as stress, depression, anxiety, and burnout, which are widely experienced by modern society. Meditation and mindfulness are seen as alternative and complementary methods that can foster self-awareness, reduce emotional reactivity, and build inner balance. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining international scientific articles published in the last ten years. The selection process was carried out through searches in indexed databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar with the keywords "meditation," "mindfulness," "emotional balance," and "mental health." The selected articles were then analyzed thematically to identify patterns, findings, and their relevance to the research topic. The results show that meditation and mindfulness contribute significantly to improving emotional balance, reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety, and strengthening mental health. The findings also confirm that mindfulness practices can be integrated into various fields, such as psychological therapy, education, and stress management in the workplace. The discussion underscores the importance of consistency of practice as well as environmental support in ensuring the effectiveness of this practice. The conclusions of this study confirm that transforming consciousness through meditation and mindfulness not only impacts individual mental health but also strengthens social relationships and improves overall quality of life. The practical implication is that meditation and mindfulness need to be more widely adopted as holistic mental health strategies that are affordable, sustainable, and adaptable to the challenges of modern life..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tinjauan hukum terhadap pelaksanaan sidang perceraian oleh hakim tunggal di Pengadilan Agama Rembang, karena hukum telah mengatur agar Pengadilan dalam memeriksa, mengadili, dan memutus perkara dengan susunan majelis sekurang-kurangnya 3 (tiga) orang hakim, kecuali undang-undang menentukan lain dan/atau karena pemeriksaan perkaranya bersifat sederhana dan penyelesaiannya bisa dilakukan dengan cepat. Pendekatan masalah yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah Pendekatan Perundang-Undangan (Statute Approach), Pendekatan Konseptual (Conceptual Approach) dan Pendekatan Kasus (Case Approach). Pendekatan Perundang-Undangan (Statute Approach) dan Pendekatan Konseptual (Conceptual Approach) untuk mengetahui bagaimana tinjauan hukum atas pemeriksaan perkara perceraian yang di lakukan oleh hakim tunggal Di Pengadilan Agama Rembang serta bagaimana implementasi putusan yang diambilnya. pemeriksaan perkara perceraian tidak termasuk dalam pemeriksaan perkara yang bersifat sederhana dan penyelesaiannya bisa dilakukan dengan cara cepat, apalagi dasar legitimasi yang dipakai oleh Pengadilan Agama Rembang dalam memeriksa perkara perceraian dengan menggunakan hakim tunggal hanya berdasarkan pada surat izin dari Mahkamah Agung Nomor 75/KMA/HK.05/07/2018 tertanggal 18 Juli 2018, yang pada intinya Pengadilan Agama Rembang kekurangan hakim, padahal lulusan sarjana hukum pada perguruan tinggi negeri maupun perguruan tinggi swasta jumlahnya sangat banyak dari tahun ketahun, apalagi sampai tahun 2025 kebijakan tersebut belum juga diperbaiki dengan cara merekrut hakim pengadilan agama dari lulusan terbaik yang dimiliki oleh perguruan tinggi negeri maupun perguruan tinggi swasta, maka kebijakan dan praktik tersebut sangat Inkonstitusional karena tidak sesuai dengan Undang-Undang berlaku.
