Abstract

A theory is only be a knowledge without application. It is also Muh}ammad Iqba>l’s education theory. Many people study that theory in various way, but little people know how to practice it. Therefore this article try to reveal how to practice Iqba>l’s education theory in the Islamic education learning in the school. As the outline of Iqbal’s education theory, the contain of this theory is about education goal, maximize individual potency of every student. To reach the goal, it need society participation, make student be subject of study and disappear religious knowledge and science dichotomy. Therefore the suitable learning model for Muh}ammad Iqba>l education theory is student-centered learning model which student is thought as learning subject, so student can maximize their potency

Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the transdisciplinary Islamic education curriculum. Where the transdisciplinary approach takes a position as the final set of integrated curriculum concepts. This positioning indicates that this approach is difficult to use. However, the rapid advancement of science and technology actually places it as an alternative approach in reforming the curriculum structure that accommodates all potential students so that they have meaningful knowledge, namely knowledge that is generalist and has a relationship with solving real life problems. The application of the trans-disciplinary approach is a strategic step to realize the concept of integrated scientific integration that involves collaboration and dialogue between disciplines and actors outside the discipline (cross-sector of society) which leads to the birth of new forms of interdisciplinary relationships to achieve problem solving, innovation, creativity and transformation based on real experiences. Curriculum development and transdisciplinary learning are also becoming increasingly relevant because it opens up opportunities for the creation of new discoveries or sciences as a result of a combination of various disciplines involving religion, natural sciences, and social sciences and humanities because the transdisciplinary curriculum is the most integrated curriculum model.Keywords: Consciousness, Curriculum Design, Islamic Education

Abstract

Islamic education subject, as one of obligated subjects on every formal educational hierarchy in Indonesia, which is hoped can create every one has religious characteristic, is valued has not reach the decided goal. Here, the important Islamic education subject learning innovation which complete, integrated and appropriate with quick development of information and communication technology. This study, discusses about one of alternative solution of Islamic education subject learning by contextual media utilization and religious culture development. Islamic education subject is not enough learned only on the classroom because learning on the classroom more focus on student cognitive dimension. So, needed religious cultural. Brevity, the aim of learning process on the classroom by learning media utilization (technology/ non-technology)  is to maximize knowledge and student comprehension about religious knowledge. While, the aim of religious climate on the school  is to habituate and construct student applying their religious knowledge and comprehension, especially in pray, attitude and behavior on daily life.

Abstract

Pengarusutamaan wawasan moderasi beragama menjadi semakin penting sebagai salah satu altenatif cara untuk membentengi peserta didik dari berbagai bentuk dan metamorfosis ideologi dan gerakan Islam transnasional yang mengancam keutuhan kebangsaan Indonesia dan tengah merembes pada hampir semua aspek kehidupan di tanah air. Untuk itu, tulisan ini berupaya mendiskusikan tentang bagaimana penerapan konsep moderasi beragama dalam perspektif M. Quraish Shihab dalam proses pembelajaran PAI. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kepustakaan yang menggunakan motode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa implementasi moderasi beragama pada pembelajaran PAI dapat mengacu pada prinsip pengembangan kurikulum integratif dengan memaksimalkan pengembangan materi pembelajaran

Abstract

This paper observes the idea of Abdurrahman Wahid's Sufism. It is important to study Sufism in the strengthening of dual morality in Indonesian Muslims. It is to complement the development of contemporary Sufism discourse in the archipelago as well. The research method of this paper was a literature review. The data used in this paper were the works of Abdurrahman Wahid in the form of a collection of articles, bookkeeping of 'preface', and 'preface' which were scattered in several other people's books as well as other relevant writing sources. The data that had been collected were then analyzed using a qualitative content analysis method according to the topic of the writing. The results of this research found that Abdurrahman Wahid's idea of Sufism contributed significantly to the realization of the basic values and teachings of Islam in the life of religion, society, nation, and state. It indicates that Abdurrahman Wahid has transformed the meaning and actualized Sufism from and for Sufism. Love and compassion play a central role at the core of Sufism which is actively manifested in social life to fight for human values and principles.

Abstract

All of human life dimensions will never free from a conflict. The conflict appears because of difference and occurs into human relationship with each context. In the organization context, conflict happened between organization members often influence their relationship and performance quality until organization goal blocked. Its mean, conflict becomes destruction resource. Therefore, any conflict must be behaved and finished through communication as the organization culture. But, communication implementation done does not direct at mutual understanding achievement and reach consensus which is free from coercion or domination, so that the communication results relationship between organization members broken or even an organization. To resolve the negative impacts, all of organization members need to aware and try to increase their interpersonal communication competency. Beside of that, by replace limited formal communication culture into interpersonal communication to increase their relationships quality. By the method, interpersonal communication becomes more functional and as basic standing at once pacesetter of formation or communicative organization culture development.

Abstract

The low disciplinary behavior of students is one of the problems faced by many educational institutions. Even though discipline is the personality builder of the student. By practicing discipline, other good habits will come. Strengthening student discipline can be inserted through school activities or school culture according to the needs and conditions of the school. Therefore, this article describes the school culture in the form of istigasah activities to strengthen student discipline at SMP Al-Ikhlas Tarokan Kediri. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection was carried out using the interview method, observing, collecting and examining, and feeling. Data analysis used includes pattern matching, making explanations, and time series analysis. The results showed that the implementation of istigasah at SMP Al-Ikhlas Tarokan Kediri has been running well. However, some efforts are still needed so that these istigasah activities can be carried out consistently. Implemented methods include: implementing discipline, checking student notebooks, exemplary teachers, and using rewards and punishments.

Abstract

This paper aims to show the practice of kitab kuning learning in elementary schools as the basis for developing school culture. There are two main questions in this research. First, how is the process of kitab kuning learning? Second, how is the sustainability of the kitab kuning learning program? The research method used qualitative with a single case study design at the Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic Elementary School (SDI NU) Pare, Kediri Regency. This study found that kitab kuning learning as a special activity followed the pattern of learning the kitab kuning in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) with the two main learning methods, Arabic pegon learning and bandongan. Second, the learning of kitab kuning starting in the 2022/2023 school year is not only a special program but has continued as part of the school curriculum by integrating it with the curriculum so that all students learn it. The integration form combined Pesantren-style learning with Arabic subjects. These two findings indicate the school's consistency in preserving the pesantren tradition as the primary basis for developing a school culture.

Abstract

This paper studies the Islamic ruwat tradition as a manifestation of the encounter between Islam and local culture in Java within the framework of the Islam Nusantara discourse. This study begins with a literature survey enriched with qualitative field research. Informants in this research are religious leaders as well as community leaders who have knowledge and experience about ruwatan. The data that has been collected is then analyzed qualitatively according to the research focus. The results of this study found that an ruwat islami tradition is a form of harmonization between Islamic teachings and Javanese culture that is still sustainable today. The practice of ruwat islami rituals requires various types of dishes (sajen) as a form of alms that contain symbolic meanings in the form of Islamic values, teachings/doctrines, and history. The meeting point between the two resulted in the ruwat islami tradition which is one of the heritage of the Islam Nusantara tradition.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to describe the role of Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers in improving the competence in reading the Qur'an of students at Public Senior High School (SMA Negeri) 1 Ngadiluwih Kediri. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with interactive data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman that consist of three steps, those are : data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. There are two questions raised in this study. First, what is the driving factor of PAI teacher's program the Qur'anic literacy in the learning process? Second, how is the practice of Qur'an literacy in the PAI learning process? The results of this study concluded that there were two main driving factors for pie teachers to study the literacy of reading the Qur'an, (1) Internal factors in the form of curriculum Waka instructions and objective conditions of the ability to read diverse al-Qur'an students; (2) Internal factors, namely experience, and desire of pie teachers. Second, the practice of Literacy takes place in an integrated manner in the process of learning PAI by managing lesson hours and using the Nderes Qur'an method. Therefore, PAI teachers play an important role in overcoming the problem of reading the Qur'anic Literacy experienced by students. Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi membaca Qur'an siswa SMAN 1 Ngadiluwih Kediri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga hal yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Ada dua rumusan masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini. Pertama, apa faktor pendorong guru PAI memprogramkan literasi Qur'an dalam proses pembelajaran? Kedua, bagaimana praktik literasi Qur'an dalam proses pembelajaran PAI? Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ada dua faktor pendorong utama guru PAI membelajarkan literasi membaca Qur'an, (1) faktor internal berupa instruksi waka kurikulum dan kondisi objektif kemampuan membaca Qur'an siswa yang beragam; (2) faktor internal yakni pengalaman dan keinginan guru PAI. Kedua, praktik pembelajaran literasi Qur'an berlangsung secara terintegrasi dalam proses pembelajaran PAI dengan mengelola jam pelajaran dan menggunakan metode nderes Qur'an. Oleh karena itu, guru PAI memainkan peran penting dalam mengatasi problem literasi membaca Qur'an yang dialami siswa.
