Abstract

The 21st century is a century that encourages humans to integrate life with ICT and education is no exception. However, in reality, in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar, the use of technology such as mobile phones and the use of teaching materials is still lacking. Therefore, one of the efforts made is to produce hyper-content based LKPD student worksheet so that students are more interested in learning physics. This study aims to describe the content validity of hyper-content student worksheet on temperature and heat topic. Furthermore, the goals of this research was to describe the practicality of the response of teachers and students to hyper-content based student worksheet on the temperature and heat topic, and describe the effectiveness of student worksheet for the given questions. This research is a type of development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model design (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results showed that the feasibility of hyper-content based student worksheet based on the assessment of valuators 1 and 2 was categorized as very feasible, with the percentage of LKPD validation 96.0%. Teachers and students gave a very positive response to the practicality of the LKPD based on hyper-content- as a learning medium with a teacher response percentage of 100.0% with very practical criteria and student responses 84.37% very practical criteria. The effectiveness obtained from the students' test results of 0.59 criteria is quite effective

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning styles and physics learning outcomes of class X science students at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar and the relationship between the two variables. This research is a quantitative descriptive research employing survey design. Data collection were carried out by distributing online learning style questionnaires using google forms and giving cognitive tests in the form of multiple choice to 124 students. To help determine the influence of learning styles toward learning outcomes of physics, inferential analysis in the form of Pearson product moment correlation analysis was used. The results showed thatthe most of the students in class X science at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar had visual learning styles, and only few of them had kinesthetic learning styles and auditory learning styles. Some students were not categorized in one specific learning style as they are not dominant in any of the three.In addition, majority of the female students had a visual learning style, while majority of the male students had kinesthetic learning style. Furthermore, the students’ physics learning outcomes were in medium category. Finally, there was a weak relationship between learning styles and students' physics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Experiment-based research on the development of student worksheets (SW) in Science Physics has been carried out to Grow Students' Science Process Skills. This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective experimental-based student worksheet product. The research method used is the method of research and development (Research and Development). Experiment-based student worksheet development uses the ADDIE model which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The students involved in this study were 32 class VIII students at SMPN 51 Makassar and 7 Physics Educators who joined the MGMP IPA in the city of Makassar. The research instruments used were expert validity questionnaires, educator response questionnaires, and science process skills tests. After analyzing the validation data according to Aiken's, an expert agreement index was obtained for scientific literacy-based worksheets of 0.79, an expert response questionnaire index of 0.80, and an expert agreement index of science process skills tests of 0.83 so that all three were declared valid. Practitioners' assessment obtained an overall percentage of 90.80% which is in the very good category. Meanwhile, in terms of science process skills, students who achieve mastery learning are 75% and those who do not achieve completeness are 25%. So that it can be stated that experimental-based worksheets in science learning physics are effective for growing students' science process skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi EduMu pada pembelajaran fisika terhadap motivasi belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar dengan jumlah 13 orang yang juga merupakan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara sampling Jenuh. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan lembar respon siswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi EduMu. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi motivasi dan lembar angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif pada data motivasi dan respon siswa. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata motivasi  belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar sebesar 92,5 dengan kategori sangat tinggi sebesar 85%. Sedangkan respon peserta didik terkait penggunaan aplikasi EduMu memiliki persentase tertinggi pada respon Sangat Setuju (40%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Edumu efektif dalam memotivasi siswa dalam belajar Fisika.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive and quantitative study to know students' graphic interpretation ability after applying infographic learning media to learning physics in straight-motion material at MA DDI Kanang. The type of research is pre-experimental with a one-shot case study research design. The independent variable of the research was infographic media, and the dependent variable was students' ability to interpret graphs. The population in this study consisted of 45 class X MIPA students at MA DDI Kanang. Research data were obtained by giving objective tests or multiple choice questions based on four indicators of graph interpretation capability: determining the value of a certain quantity from the graph, translating graphic language into verbal language, identifying graphics based on descriptions, and identifying graphs with different variables. Based on the results of descriptive data analysis using the SPSS application, it was found that the average score of students' graphic interpretation skills at MA DDI was 9.04 and was in the moderate category. The impact is that students can only interpret simple graphs, and have difficulty comparing graphs with various variables.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya dalam dunia pendidikan. Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik agar dapat menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mengambil keputusan yang berkualitas. Model pembelajaran inkuiri dianggap dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Oleh karena itu Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Desain penelitian kaitannya dengan penelitian Quasi Eksperimental Design ini digunakan dalam bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh murid kelas V SD Inpres Perumnas Antang III yang berjumlah 96 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 34 siswa yang dibagi dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen (80,59), dan skor rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas kontrol sebesar (70,00), Sedangkan hasil uji t diperoleh nilai Sig. 0,001 < 0,05, hal tersebut Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pada abad 21, pendidikan harus memprioritaskan pengajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Hal tersebut dikarenakan proses pendidikan yang berbasis HOTS telah menjadi kebutuhan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari bagaimana gambaran kemampuan peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika bertipe HOTS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah sampel jenuh dengan jumlah 166 orang  peserta didik kelas X MIPA di sekolah tersebut. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan memberikan instrumen tes bertipe HOTS yang telah valid kepada subjek penelitian. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum tingkat kemampuan peserta didik kelas X MIPA dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika bertipe HOTS masih tergolong dalam kategori sedang, dilihat dari persentase HOTS peserta didik yang didominasi oleh kategori sedang yakni sebesar 65,06% atau 108 peserta didik. Hal ini menjadi perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus bagi institusi yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan, khususnya tenaga pendidik yang harus mampu berinovasi dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal bertipe HOTS sekaligus melatih keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi mereka.Kata kunci: Penyelesaian Soal, HOTS. In the 21st century, education must prioritize teaching based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This is because the HOTS-based education process has become a global need. This study aim was to study how the description of the ability of high school students (SMA) in solving HOTS-type physics problems. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative with survey method. The sample used in the study was a saturated sample with a total of 166 students of class X MIPA at the school. Data collection was carried out by giving a valid HOTS-type test instrument to the research subject. The data obtained were then analyzed using a descriptive analysis test. The results of this study indicate that in general the level of ability of students in class X MIPA in solving HOTS-type physics questions is still classified in the medium category, as seen from the percentage of HOTS students which is dominated by the medium category, which is 65.06% or 108 students. This becomes a need for special attention for institutions related to education, especially educators who should be able to innovate in the learning process to improve the ability of students to solve HOTS-type questions as well as for training their higher-order thinking skills. Keywords: Problem Solve, HOTS.
