Abstract

This study investigates the influence of entrepreneurial practice and the school environment on students’ interest in becoming entrepreneurs at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The problem addressed in this research is the low interest of students in entrepreneurship despite the implementation of entrepreneurial practice and the availability of a supportive school environment. The study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial practice, the effect of the school environment, and the combined effect of both factors on entrepreneurial interest. The research applies a quantitative method with a descriptive-associative approach, involving a population of 265 students and a sample of 159 students selected through stratified proportionate random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed through multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial practice has a positive and significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial interest, the school environment also has a positive and significant effect, and both factors together significantly enhance students’ interest in entrepreneurship. These results indicate that effective entrepreneurial practice supported by a conducive school environment can substantially increase students’ motivation to pursue entrepreneurship.

This research employs a quantitative approach. The population consists of 144 Phase E accounting students, with 59 selected using the Slovin formula and stratified random sampling. Data were obtained through a validated and reliable questionnaire. Analysis techniques include descriptive and inferential statistics, covering normality, linearity, and multicollinearity tests, followed by multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²), processed using SPSS version 25.Results show: (1) self efficacy has a positive and significant effect on accounting learning outcomes t-value 16.993 > t-table 2.003, significance 0.000 < 0.05), meaning higher self efficacy improves outcomes. (2) The family environment also has a positive and significant effect t-value 3.123 > t-table 2.003, significance 0.003 < 0.05), indicating its role in enhancing performance. (3) Simultaneously, self efficacy and family environment significantly affect learning outcomes F-value 147.521 > F-table 3.16, significance 0.000 < 0.05), with R² = 83.7%, leaving 16.3% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of teacher creativity and learning motivation on the economics learning outcomes of Grade X students at SMAN 1 Painan, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed a quantitative approach with a population of 296 students and a sample of 75 students selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using t-tests and an F-test. The results show that teacher creativity has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes (β = 0.610; t_calculated = 2.490 > t_table = 1.933). Learning motivation also has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes (β = 0.210; t_calculated = 2.812 > t_table = 1.933). Simultaneously, teacher creativity and learning motivation significantly affect economics learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.002 < 0.05; F_calculated = 6.361 > F_table = 3.124). These findings confirm that improving teacher creativity in instruction and strengthening students’ learning motivation contribute to better economics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of Shopee PayLater usage and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of Economics Education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Ekasakti University, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed a quantitative approach with a population that also served as the sample, consisting of 54 students selected through total sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, while hypothesis testing was conducted using t-tests and an F-test. The results show that Shopee PayLater usage has a significant effect on consumptive behavior (t_calculated = 2.146 > t_table = 1.672; sig = 0.037 < 0.05). Financial literacy also has a significant effect on consumptive behavior (t_calculated = 2.878 > t_table = 1.672; sig = 0.006 < 0.05). Simultaneously, Shopee PayLater usage and financial literacy have a positive and significant effect on students’ consumptive behavior (F_calculated = 17.489 > F_table = 2.400; sig = 0.000 < 0.05). These findings confirm that students’ consumptive behavior is influenced by the use of PayLater services and their level of financial literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of interest, motivation, and the social environment on students’ learning difficulties in Economics among Grade 10 students at SMAN 5 Padang, both partially and simultaneously. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach. The population consisted of 412 Grade 10 students, with a sample of 80 students selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. Hypotheses were tested using the t-test for partial effects and the F-test for simultaneous effects. The results show that interest does not have a significant effect on learning difficulties (coefficient 0.377; t-value 0.995 < t-table 1.992), while motivation has a significant effect (coefficient 0.427) and the social environment also has a significant effect (coefficient 0.509) on learning difficulties. Simultaneously, interest, motivation, and the social environment influence students’ learning difficulties. These findings indicate that learning motivation and a supportive social environment play an important role in reducing learning difficulties, whereas interest does not show a significant partial effect.

Abstract

This study analyzes the partial and simultaneous effects of students’ perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum and critical thinking skills on the economics learning outcomes of Phase E students at SMA Negeri 8 Padang. The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The population consisted of 348 students, with a sample of 186 students determined using the Slovin formula through random sampling. Data on perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum and critical thinking skills were collected through questionnaires, while learning outcomes were obtained from documentation. The instruments were tested for validity and reliability, and prerequisite tests included normality, heteroscedasticity, homogeneity, multicollinearity, and linearity. Further analyses involved multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²), processed using SPSS version 25. The results show that students’ perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum had a negative and significant effect on economics learning outcomes (t = –12.295; p = 0.000 < 0.05), interpreted as low perceptions being accompanied by higher outcomes due to increased independent learning efforts. Critical thinking skills had a positive and significant effect (t = 3.126; p = 0.002 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables had a significant effect on learning outcomes (F = 75.582; p = 0.000 < 0.05). The R² value of 0.452 indicates that 45.2% of the variance in economics learning outcomes is explained by the two variables, while the remaining 54.8% is influenced by other factors outside the study.
