Abstract

In the current era of technological development, the flow of information and knowledge is very quickly updated, so that facilities are needed to compensate, especially in the field of education. Conventional learning models can support interactions between teachers and students, but on the other hand, this model is less able to provide facilities in the form of access to information anytime and anywhere. These weaknesses can be overcome by online learning, so that a blended learning solution appears, which still considers the interaction of teachers and students and expands learning opportunities because it is not limited to time and place. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of blended learning based on kelas kita network sites in improving student achievement, activities, and learning attitudes. The subjects of this study were two classes of MA students (experimental class of 33 students and control class of 34 students) in Cirebon, Indonesia. The biological material chosen in this study was environmental change. The study design used a Pretest-Posttest control group. Data collection techniques employed observation, tests, and questionnaires. From the results of the study, it provides information that the experimental class applied blended learning model had significantly different achievements, activities, and learning attitudes (sig 0.05) compared to the control class. Students had an enthusiastic attitude because they were given the opportunity to explore their potential in studying literature based on kelas kita network. The implication of this research is that a blended learning model can be developed and applied to other materials, even in other subjects.

Abstract

The development of technology makes human life easier, but on the other hand, technology has an impact on the strained relationship between humans and mental health problems. Education has an important role in building a better civilization. In the midst of its problems, organic education pioneered by Ki Hajar Dewantara is an alternative education that can harmonize the relationship between humans and nature. Returning human nature as a servant and caliph on earth. . This study aims to explain the Islamic view on the relationship between humans and nature and its relevance to the concept of organic education popularized by Ki Hajar Dewantara considering that the approach used is more holistic, not only involving intellectual development, but also combining ecological and spiritual awareness in human life. The research method used is the literature study method. The conclusion of this study is that humans are part of a larger system, namely the universe and are interdependent on each other. Organic education is a promising alternative to bring humans back into harmony with the universe. By integrating ecological, social, and spiritual values ​​into the education curriculum, we can form a generation that is more aware and responsible for the sustainability of life on this earth.

Abstract

Masalah yang dihadapi di SMPIT Al Marwat Lemahabang adalah kurangnya pemahaman mengenai perbedaan dan penerapan konsep evaluasi, penilaian, pengukuran, dan tes dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan peran masing-masing konsep dalam pembelajaran dan bagaimana penerapannya dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di SMPIT Al Marwat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang melibatkan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan pendidik untuk menganalisis implementasi konsep-konsep tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai keberhasilan pembelajaran, penilaian menyajikan data terstruktur tentang perkembangan siswa, pengukuran menghasilkan data objektif mengenai pencapaian siswa, dan tes mengukur kemampuan siswa secara langsung. Keempat konsep ini, jika diterapkan secara terpadu dan saling mendukung, dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara signifikan. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah agar pendidik di SMPIT Al Marwat mengintegrasikan evaluasi, penilaian, pengukuran, dan tes dalam setiap tahap pembelajaran untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih efektif dan optimal.

Abstract

Penilaian non-tes merupakan bagian integral dari evaluasi pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 1 Terisi, yang dilaksanakan untuk mengukur aspek-aspek kompetensi non-kognitif siswa, seperti sikap, keterampilan sosial, dan karakter. Penilaian ini melibatkan berbagai teknik, termasuk observasi, wawancara, angket, serta dokumentasi kegiatan. Di sekolah ini, penilaian non-tes diterapkan pada beberapa objek penilaian, antara lain Profil Pelajar Pancasila, Praktek Kerja Industri (Prakerin), sikap/afektif siswa, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler wajib Kepramukaan. Masing-masing objek penilaian tersebut dievaluasi dengan menggunakan metode yang sistematis dan terstruktur, dimana hasilnya dimasukkan dalam format rapor siswa. Meskipun demikian, implementasi penilaian non-tes di SMK Negeri 1 Terisi menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang teknik penilaian non-tes, keterbatasan waktu untuk melakukan observasi dan pengumpulan data, serta kesulitan dalam merumuskan kriteria penilaian yang jelas dan konsisten. Selain itu, komunikasi yang terbatas dengan orang tua dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru menjadi hambatan dalam penerapan penilaian non-tes yang efektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan pemahaman dan pelatihan yang lebih intensif bagi para pendidik serta dukungan yang lebih baik dari orang tua dan pihak sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas penilaian non-tes di SMK Negeri 1 Terisi.

Abstract

Learning is limited and not maximized in the use of technology in every school. In addition, learning that is still focused on the teacher as a learning resource, causes students to be less critical in understanding the existing problems, so that technology is needed, with the application of socio-scientific issue-based E-modules. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of implementing E-modules based on socio-scientific issues in improving students' critical thinking skills. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The research design used a pretest-posttest control group design, with class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class X MIPA 4 as the control class. The results showed that there was an increase in students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class which was higher than the control class with the average difference between the pretest and posttest results in the control class. This increase can be seen from the statistical paired samples as significant output. The results of the student response questionnaire showed a good category. The conclusion in this study is that the application of E-modules using android appy pie based on socio-scientific issues has an effect on increasing students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Students' critical thinking skills in high school are still lacking. Learning media in textbooks is still less effective and interactive in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills using 3D-based e-handout. This research is true-experiment research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all eleventh-grade Mathematics and Science major (MIPA) classes at SMAN 1 Ciwaringin, which consisted of 128 students. The samples were classes XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2. This study showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills between experimental classes, with an average N-gain value of 0.60 (moderate category), and the control class, with an N-gain value of 0.28 (low category).ABSTRAK: Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di sekolah masih kurang. Media pembelajaran yang masih berupa buku paket kurang efektif dan interaktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan e-handout berbasis 3D. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian true-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA di SMAN A Ciwaringin berjumlah 128 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI MIPA 1 dan XI MIPA 2. Terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen 0,60 tergolong kedalam keriteria sedang sedangkan nilai N-gain kelas kontrol 0,28 tergolong kedalam kategori rendah.

Abstract

The aims of this research to analisys toward IAIN to be UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, analysis readiness IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon to support changes become UIN Cirebon, analysis constraints becomes UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This research conducted in IAIN Cirebon. The subject of this research is IAIN stakeholder consist of leaderships, 33 lectures, 17 staff administration, and 350 student of institute, and user around Cirebon. This research is qualitative research type case study. Instrument of this research using questionnaire, guidance interview, and documentation. Data Analysis using three type, consist of data reduction, data presentation, and data verificated by induktif, deduktif, and comparative. The result show refers to regulation of ministry of religion number 15, 2015 about changing higher education in ministry of religion about changing IAIN become UIN, consist of number of student of university, qualified of lecturer and staff education, and acreditation of department. Resources unmet are number of qualified lecturer, facilitaties and infrastuctures, number of department and faculty, and curriculum of integration. Stakeholder provided positive respon and support to changing IAIN become UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon have a number of problem consist of facilitaties and infrastuctures incomplete, the number of lecture suitably qualified, the number of department and faculty, curriculum doesn’t standarized, academic atmosphere doesn’t condusive, SOP is still print out book but not implemented, UIN development team unform.            Keyword: Resources, Readiness, IAIN, UIN

Abstract

The application of STEM in Indonesia can be made through an embedded approach using the social, cultural and technological contexts encountered by students daily. This study aimed to reconstruct the context of Cirebon local wisdom, i.e. batik, to be used as a context for embedded STEM chemistry learning in high school. This research used a qualitative method by choosing the Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER) as the research framework. In this study, observations were made on the batik-making process, a literature review to explore the batik context's chemical perspective, and interviews to obtain information about students' preconceptions about batik. The findings indicated that the essential components of batik (fabric, wax, and dye) and the process of batik making were inextricably linked to chemical processes. According to the literature review, the context of batik is connected to several high school chemistry concepts, including organic chemistry (particularly regarding aromatic derivatives and polymers), electromagnetic radiation, chemical bonds, acid-base, oxidation and reduction, and stoichiometry. Meanwhile, it is known from student interviews that students' preconceptions about the scientific content of batik and related chemical concepts remain clearly distinguishable from their correct scientific conceptions. However, students expressed a favourable attitude toward the possibility of incorporating batik into chemistry instruction

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of H5P interactive videos in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills within an online biochemistry learning environment. A true experimental design employing a pretest-posttest control group model was utilized, involving two randomly selected third-semester student classes. The experimental group received instruction through H5P interactive videos, while the control group was taught using conventional methods. The findings revealed that the students who engaged with H5P interactive videos demonstrated significantly greater improvement in critical thinking skills compared to those in the control group. The mean critical thinking score of the experimental group was 80.08, exceeding the control group’s score of 66.08. The incorporation of interactive features such as embedded quizzes and real-time feedback within the H5P videos encouraged more active participation and deeper cognitive engagement, thereby fostering the development of critical thinking. The results of this study confirm that the integration of interactive digital technology into the learning process can substantially improve the quality of education, particularly in online settings. Furthermore, the implementation of H5P supports higher levels of student engagement and enables more personalized and adaptive learning experiences, both of which are essential for cultivating reflective and critical learners.Keywords: interactive video, H5P, critical thinking, science

Abstract

Islamic education in elementary schools plays a vital role not only in building students’ cognitive religious knowledge but also in shaping their moral character deeply rooted in local culture and values. This study explores how the Islamic education curriculum is managed and integrated with local content at SDIT Kasih Ibu, East Karawang District, and examines its effectiveness in strengthening students’ moral development. Employing a qualitative case study approach grounded in curriculum integration theory (Beane, 1997) and local wisdom-based character education (Suyanto, 2018), data were gathered through in-depth interviews with principals, Islamic education teachers, and parents, participant observation of daily learning activities and school routines, and analysis of curriculum documents, lesson plans, and moral development records. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model strengthened by the constant comparative technique. The findings reveal three interconnected strategies: curriculum mapping that synergizes Islamic values such as akhlaq karimah and tauhid with local Karawang elements including gotong royong, silih asih, and traditional arts into thematic learning; positioning teachers as moral exemplars through consistent uswah hasanah practices and reflective mentoring; and the development of a habituative school culture via extracurricular activities, daily routines, and hidden curriculum such as subuh pengajian, environmental care, and peer mediation. These holistic and contextual approaches demonstrate that moral strengthening extends far beyond classroom instruction, permeating the entire school environment. Ultimately, this study concludes that integrative curriculum management aligned with local wisdom effectively nurtures students who are religiously grounded, culturally rooted, and socially adaptive, offering valuable insights for sustainable character education in Indonesia.
