Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan identifikasi protein atau turunannya dalam matriks yang kompleks dengan molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) yaitu imprinted PMAA-BSA.  PMAA-BSA disintesis dengan Asam Metakrilat (MAA) sebagai monomer, Etilen Glikol Dimetakrilat (EDMA) sebagai cross-linker, BSA (Bovine Serum Albumin) sebagai template pencetak molekul protein dengan benzoil peroksida (dalam kloroform dan benzena) dengan metode polimerisasi bulk secara termal. Imprinted PMAA-BSA terbentuk setelah tahap ekstraksi template BSA dari PMAA-BSA dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PMAA-BSA berhasil disintesis dengan komposisi MAA : EDMA : BSA (20 mg/ml) = 5 : 1 : 1 (mol) dengan konsentrasi benzoil peroksida sebesar 0.5 mg/ml.  PMAA-BSA memiliki BM 3440 g/mol, meleleh pada 131,730C, dan terdegradasi secara termal pada 374,980C dengan kehilangan berat hingga 69,78%. Pada spektra IR PMAA-BSA terdapat pita serapan penciri gugus amida sekunder, pada 1634 cm-1, sedangkan spektra IR PMAA tidak menunjukkan profil tersebut. Pita serapan penciri amida sekunder pada spektra IR imprinted PMAA-BSA menunjukkan masih ada penciri amida sekunder dengan intensitas yang lebih rendah.  Pengukuran filtrat BSA pada tahap pembentukan imprinted PMAA-BSA dan tahap ekstraksinya menunjukkan recovery dan reproducibility terbaik 94,85% dan 8,029%. Abstract

Nowdays, Rasch model analysis is used widely in social research, moreover in educational research. In this research, Rasch model is used to determine the validation and the reliability of systemic multiple choices question in chemistry teaching and learning. There were 30 multiple choices question with systemic approach for high school student class XI. In this research, a 164 student as the subject of the research. The data was collecting during March – April 2015. The data was analysis using Winsteps application with Rasch model. The reseach shows that 29 question of 30 questions was valid through Rasch model analysis. The reliability of systemic multiple choices question was 0.93, which is very good chategory.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui langkah-langkah penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran sistemik pada kuliah Kimia Dasar I dan mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan pemahaman konsep maha-siswa pada Kuliah Kimia Dasar I setelah menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran sistemik. Penelitian ini di desain sebagai penelitian tindakan kelas yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia yang mengikuti mata kuliah Kimia Dasar I. Obyek penelitian adalah pemahaman konsep mahasiswa. Penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran sistemik dilakukan dengan diskusi dan pemberian tugas. Mahasiswa diminta untuk membu-at diagram siklis yang menunjukkan keterkaitan antar materi kimia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir komprehensif mahasiswa, dengan skor kemampuan konsep kimia mahasiswa pada siklus I sebesar 31,48 dan siklus II sebesar 35,48, dengan skor maksimal 50.Kata kunci: pendekatan sistemik, diagram siklis, kemampuan konsep kimia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Akuntansi Siswa Kelas X AKL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Pengasih Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 melalui implementasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipatif, tes, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Akuntansi Siswa. Skor rata-rata Aktivitas Belajar Akuntansi meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 73,44% menjadi 88,47% pada siklus II. Rata-rata Hasil Belajar Akuntansi pada pre test siklus I sebesar 32,27 meningkat menjadi 76,63 pada post test. Pada siklus II, rata-rata Hasil Belajar Akuntansi pre test sebesar 30,81 meningkat menjadi 88,80 pada post test. Ketuntasan Hasil Belajar Akuntansi pada I sebesar 65,71%. Pada siklus II, Ketuntasan Hasil Belajar Akuntansi sebesar 88,57%.Kata kunci: Aktivitas Belajar Akuntansi, Hasil Belajar Akuntansi, TGT.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the optimum mass, optimum agitation times and the   effect of the concentration of direct red dye was adsorbed by charcoal of ambon and kepok banana peels. And to determine the influence of activator concentration of NaOH on the adsorption capacity of ambon and kepok banana peels on the adsorption of direct red dye. The subject of this study is the ambon and kepok banana peels. The object of this study is the efficiency of adsorption. The parameters in this study are the mass of adsorbent, agitation times, dye concentrations, and the concentration of NaOH activator. Adsorption capacity of banana peels to direct red dye is determined by the difference of concentration before and after adsorption. The concentration of dye was determined using a spectrophotometer at an optimum wavelength of visible light. The result shows that the optimum mass and agitation time for direct red dye adsorption which are adsorbed by the charcoal both of ambon and kepok banana peels adsorbent is 0.5 grams per 50 mL of the adsorbate and 2 hours, respectively. Direct red dye concentration does not affect the efficiency of adsorption ambon banana peel charcoal but influences the efficiency of adsorption kepok banana peel charcoal. The greatest adsorption ability of ambon and kepok  banana peels are given by NaOH activator at 0.5 M and 1 M. Key words: banana peel, banana peel charcoal, direct red, agitation time

Abstract

The edible film is an alternative packaging with renewable and safe materials. The edible film used is methylcellulose from nata de coco with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) plasticizers and cinnamon oil additives. This research aimed to determine the effect of PVA on the mechanical properties of edible film and the effect of adding cinnamon oil on the character of edible film. PVA added were 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and cinnamon oil added were 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%. The mechanical properties of the edible film were observed by tensile strength tester, whereas water vapor absorption by gravimetric method. The result showed the optimum mechanical properties of the edible film was addition PVA 15% which was 1.565 MPa. The more cinnamon oil was added, the mechanical properties of edible film tend to decrease, however, the water vapor absorption tends to increase. The addition of cinnamon oil also showed antimicrobial activity that the fungus did not grow on the edible film.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  desain, tingkat keterlaksanaan dan efektivitas pembe-lajaran kooperatif secara online pada kuliah Kimia Fisika II. Penelitian ini didesain sebagai penelitian pengembangan dengan tujuh tahap yaitu perencanaan, pengembangan metode, aplikasi I, revisi I, aplikasi II, revisi II dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain metode pembelajaran kooperatif seca-ra online yang lebih efektif adalah pembagian kelompok, kuliah tatap muka dengan dosen, diskusi dilaku-kan secara online, penulisan laporan kegiatan diskusi secara online, dan evaluasi secara online. Tingkat keterlaksanaan penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif secara online cukup baik, namun perlu adanya dukungan sarana yang memadai, baik komputer maupun server e-learning. Adapun penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif secara online dianggap belum efektif, karena tingkat ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa baru mencapai 25,93% dengan nilai rata-rata 65,7.Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif, online, efektivitas

Abstract

This Research aim to  know:  1) the potential difference which can degrade the heavy metal ion concentration of Cu(II), Cr(III), Pb(II), and Zn(II) in liquid waste of electroplating maximally, 2) the efficiency of degradation of heavy metal ions concentration of Cu(II), Cr(III), Pb(II), and Zn(II) in liquid waste of electroplating at optimal potential difference, and 3)the potential difference yielding the nicest coat quality pursuant to its physical appearance.This research early with the preparation electroplating: 1) the preparation of sample liquid waste, 2) platinum electrode,and 3) iron metal to be arranged in layers. The instrument of this research is potentiometers Shimadzu NES_5F. Process the electroplating has been done at variations of potential difference that are 2.0; 2.5; 3.0; 3.5; 4.;, 4.5; and 5.0 V. Analysis of concentration of metal ions in liquid waste of electroplating  before and hereafter process the electroplating have been done by atomic absorbtion  spectrophotometric (AAS). Perception result of coating have been done visually by researcher. The result of this research are 1) the potential differences which can degrade the heavy metal ions concentration of Cu(II), Cr(III), Pb(II), and Zn(II) in liquid waste of electroplating maximally is 4 V, 2) efficiency of degradation of heavy metal ions concentration of Cu(II), Cr(II), Pb(II), and Zn(II) in liquid waste of electroplating at optimal potential difference successively are 21.30; 72.37; 51.00; and 58.60 %, and 3) potential difference yielding the nicest coat quality pursuant to its physical appearance is 4 V.

Abstract

The movement of educational systems on the 21st century need to be change from linearity to systemic form. The aims of this research is to determine the effect of Chemistry Systemic Learning Approach (CSLA) toward Students’ Analytical Thinking Skills (SATS). A pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test design was adopted in this research. The population of this study were all of the students of public senior high school in Kulon Progo regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Two classes from a public senior high school in those regency were cluster randomly selected as the research samples. A Systemic Test on Analytical Thinking (STAT) was used to collect the data of SATS, before and after the implementation of CSLA. The STAT covering four indicators of analytical thinking, they are differentiating, organizing, and attributing indicators. Meanwhile, the CSLA was integrated in the teaching-learning process and in the STAT, the CSLA was presented in the form of cyclic diagrams. The data of SATS on CSLA were analyse according to paired samples t-test and n-gain category analysis. The results of these analysis indicates that there was significant effect of CSLA on SATS. Moreover, the profile of SATS shows a satisfied improvement after the implementation of CSLA. Overall, a high n-gain category was reached that indicates the enhancement of students’ understanding of the inter-related concept in chemistry. This study gives a significant contribution on the use of CSLA to improve SATS. Hence, the used of CSLA should be emphasized on chemistry learning to promote students’ higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan khalayak sasaran warga Dusun Krajan, Wedomartani Kabupaten Sleman.  Tujuan Pengabdian adalah memberikan pengetahuan tentang cara pembuatan pelembut cucian  pada masyarakat Dusun Krajan, memberikan motivasi kepada masyarakat Dusun Krajan  untuk membuat pelembut cucian secara mandiri, memotivasi masyarakat Dusun Krajan untuk menggunakan pelembut cucian yang ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PPM ini adalah ceramah dan diskusi dan dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan pelembut cucian. Selain itu juga dilakukan evaluasi untuk memantau keberhasilan program. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, maka diperoleh kesimpulan sebanyak 100% peserta pelatihan memahami materi pelatihan, sebanyak 100% peserta pelatihan memiliki motivasi untuk membuat pelembut cucian di rumah, dan sebanyak 78% peserta pelatihan berminat untuk membuat usaha pembuatan  pelembut cucian.
