Abstract

Interesting tourist attractions that are not yet known by many people, one of them such as Maria Golo Curu Cave has a great opportunity to be used as a religious tourism destination in the City of Ruteng, Manggarai Regency, but a very unfortunate phenomenon that its development has not been maximized. The purpose of this study is to identify existing attractions, such as natural, cultural, artificial attractions and maximize the development of Golo Curu as a religious tourism destination by using SWOT analysis which is an analysis based on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The results of the study concluded that, the advantage of the Golo Curu Maria Cave is the natural beauty that is still beautiful and unspoiled by human hands, not only as a place to pray but also as a place to relax and become a beautiful photo spot. The disadvantage is, access to the damaged and disturbing Golo Curu visitors, lack of maximum management and maintenance that is lacking, does not have parking space, and is associated with less commendable community ethics. Thus, the priority of developing religious tourism with the SWOT approach is to preserve the attractiveness and culture of religious activities, improve access to the Golo Curu, improve existing management, provide parking, support each organization participating in tourism activities, support existing tourism services so that the creation of tourism employment opportunities, involving rural communities in every decision-making and every tourism activity. Abstract

Tabanan Regency has a high prospect in the development of tourism and its complementary facilities. Tourism village is the alternative tourism products that can provide the development of rural areas that are certainly sustainable for the future. Timpag Village is one of the villages which located in Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency which has several tourism potentials such as nature, cultures, and the local communities. The development of Rural Tourism in Timpag Village has a high value to be a tourist attraction but the reality this village has not been able to be a developed as a rural tourism. Based on these problems this research aims to determine “Development Strategies of Rural Tourism Based Local Community in Timpag Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency Bali.” The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis supported by IFAS and EFAS analysis in designing a strategy for developing local community-based tourism villages used SWOT analysis. Data collection techniques are using the method of observation, interviews, library research. The result show the design of alternative strategies to develop community-based tourism villages that can be applied in the development of Rural Tourism in Timpag Village. There are six altrenative strategys that can be applied such as attractions development based on tourism potential, local communities involvement , tourism facilities development, tourism organisation development, improve the traditional security system, and improve the ability of communities about tourism development. Therefore, local communities need to preserve the tourism potential that is owned as a rural tourism product. Keywords: Rural Tourism, Community Based Tourism, and Strategy

Abstract

The growth of tourism industry is a push to growth of community’s creativity in developing their potential, by utilizing the opportunities created from the presence of tourism, such as tourism public transport servicesthat is created by Koperasi Canggu Beach Transport. This studyaims to know the management applied as well as the strenght and weakness of implementation. The research method that used to identify the management of tourism public transportservice in Cangguis qualitative data and quantitative data obtained using the techniques of observation, interview and literaturestudy. Purposive sampling is used to determine the informants. The result of this study concluded that the management of Koperasi Canggu Beach Transport has been appropriate according to planning and organizing which done before. Monthly meetings are held in an effort to control and evaluate the result of the project that already done. There are some suggestionsto create new queue system that applied and also needed an increasement of socialization through social media to introduce and also as a promotion media. . Abstract

In Indonesia there are various kinds of tourism activities where one of them from the alternative tourism is rural tourism. When the rural tourism began to be developed then the community must also participate to play an active role in the development of rural tourism. Therefore, the empowerment of local people in this rural tourism activity is very important. The focus of this research is to know the form of community empowerment, the process of community empowerment, the components of the package of rural tour packages, the forms of tour packages offered, and the distribution channel. This research method using qualitative descriptive method. The process of collecting data is done by observation, interview and literature study. The data are then grouped, described, analyzed, then summarized. The findings of research results from community empowerment in packing of rural tourism package include: 1) The form of empowerment of community groups in Pelaga Village is the Sadar Wisata Group, 2) The empowerment of community groups in packing of rural tour packages includes components of rural tour package, Tour packages offered, and distribution channels. From this research, it can be concluded that the empowerment of community groups in packing rural tourism packages related to the many potentials that have the need for socialization and counseling to Pelaga Village community groups to be directly involved in tourism activities. Sustainability of empowerment activities can be developed and improved again because the better the empowerment activities are held to eat the better the benefits obtained by the community. Abstract

Potential Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon with the beauty of the river that flanked by rocks cliff, this natural beauty can be enjoyed by doing tracking to find a good spot to take photo. Beji guwang hidden canyon present a unique view of nature to tourist that can not be find in another place in bali, this is why I choose this topic “Potential of Beji guwang hidden canyon as a nature tourist attraction in Guwang village Sukawati district, Gianyar” The type and data resources that used in this research are qualitative data, primer and secondary data. This collecting data method was done by observation, in depth interview and documentation by research instrument by in form of interview guide lines. Data analysis that been use was interactive data analysis by use 4A component and SWOT analysis matriks to extract and analysis the potential in Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon The result of the research show that the potensial Beji guwang hidden canyon has is quiet big because having more than one nature tourist attraction. In addition of a tourism activity in Beji Guwang Hidden canyon getting a good respond from the local government and local people. Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon has a big potential, even though there are lack of knowledge in management and development that must be completed. Abstract

Bali is one of the tourist destinations that is growing rapidly in Indonesia. Most people when they hear about bali island are synonymous with exotics beach. Bali is famous with the beautiful beach panorama. One of tourist attraction in the Bali Island is Mertasari Beach. Mertasari beach is an indigenous Intaran village. In tourism management is done one way to approach community institutions, namely the indigenous village institutions. Intaran village is one of the indigenous villages that located in South Denpasar District. In terms of management in Mertasari Beach, Intaran village started to build a management in December 2014 by forming BUMDES (Owned Indigenous Village). However, management Mertasari Coast has not fully given to the village. In conducting the study authors used data collecting observation, interviews, documentation studies and literature studies with similar previous studies. These results indicate that the role of Indigenous Village in Beach Intaran in the management of Mertasari terms of existing management stage such as: Planning (Planning) covers, community empowerment programs, increase sustain ability in Mertasari Beach, improve hygiene in Mertasari Beach and financial planning. Organizing (Organizing) includes, forming management organizational structure is accompanied by a clear task. Mobilization of people (Actuating) include, mobilize communities in managing Mertasari Beach, and Supervision (Controlling) include, supervision in the field of employment, supervision in the field of security and supervision of the trader. Abstract

Kuta Beach is known as tourist favourite attraction in Bali, it can be seen by the number of tourists visited Kuta Beach. However, the high level of tourists, travelers and local communities to Kuta Beach who use private vehicles create traffic jam at Kuta Beach. In this study aims to determine the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities if the implementation of public transport as a special means to Kuta Beach to reduce congestion caused by private vehicles. The research methodology used is quantitative method. With the technique of determining the number of samples using random sampling and quota sampling. In collecting the data using techniques study literature, observation, interviews, documentation, and distribution of the questionnaire to the 40 respondents. In a data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative method by utilizing the percentage of data. The results show the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities towards the implementation of transportation common in Kuta Beach, which answered agree as many as 16 people (40%) strongly agree 15 people (37.5%), undecided 5 people (12.5%), not agree 4 people (10%), strongly disagree 0 (0%). Thus the total percentage of the perception of tourists, travelers and local communities can be seen in the implementation of public transport in the Kuta Beach, the majority of local people answered agree but local communities said the hesitation and do not agree that the implementation of the proposal. Abstract

Agro-tourism is an alternative tourism activity that relies on plantations and agriculture as its main attraction. Along with the development of tourism, agro-tourism has now become an economic driving commodity for the surrounding community, so that agro-tourism is increasingly taken into account in the world of tourism. The development of an agro-tourism can not be separated from the evolutionary process that occurs through various stages of the beginning of the tourist attraction built until now. This study aims to determine the evolution of developments in Satria Agrowisata. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting data collection techniques through online interview as primary data, and conducting online observations as secondary data. The results show that Satria Agrowisata can adapt well to the various changes that exist and continue to innovate in order to survive in the world of tourism until now. In Darwin's theory of evolution, he put forward two key words in his theory, natural selection and adaptation. Natural selection as a mechanism for evolutionary change, and adaptations that occur in its development over time. Keyword: Evolution, Agrotourism, Satria Agrowisata, Bali.

Abstract

Barus Old City became one tourist destination for researchers of Islamic archeology, both domestically and abroad, especially in the Lobu Tua. All the existing tourism potential and supported by strategic location for a sightseeing trip make Old Town Barus very suitable to serve as a regional destination (DTW). But the existence of a tourist attraction that is not yet fully got the attention of government and society. It can be seen from the tourist attraction in Barus and a lack of information regarding the existing tourist attraction. Therefore, to make the Old City Barus as a historical tourist destination need for improvement of the tourism institute itself and also the community as a tourism people. Data collected by in-depth interviews and observation. In-depth interviews conducted by referring to the interview guide are explored and defined through preliminary observation / assessment. Some might ask them is what the potential of the old city of Barus addition to in-depth interviews, data collection is also done with the observation well at the sample location or at multiple locations in the surrounding historical attractions. Things were observed among the tourism potential in the history of the Old City of Barus Central Tapanuli. Results of this study showed that the potency owned Old Town Barus is historical attractions such as ancient tombs which are graves of Muslim missionaries of the past that Mahligai Tomb, Tomb of Boards of Appeal, the Tomb of Mr. Syech Machdun. All existing tourism potential and supported by strategic location for sightseeing trips make Old Town Barus very suitable to serve as a tourist destination. Efforts Preservation and Development of tourism potential in the Old City of Barus need any interference from the local community that would care little about the existence of these ancient tombs and also expect the local government to be more open eyes in the dig, as well as rectifying the historical record that the entry of Islam Indonesia through the Old City Barus, because in addition to as evidence of history that should be preserved its existence, the site of ancient tombs can also be used as a historical tourist destination in Central Tapanuli regency especially the old city Barus.

Abstract

The study aims to desribe the implication of tourism villages development in Jodipan, Malang East Java. A slum village that turned into a tourist village and eventually attracted many visitors to come to visit. Foreign and domestic tourists flock to the village. The arrival of this large number of tourists has implications for the village, especially on environmental aspects.The research method used qualitative approaches with qualitative techniques to collecting data. Qualitative descriptive analysis is used to presents data in this article. The results obtained that the development of Jodipan Tourism Village is currently at the stage of involvement where the community starts to participate. This development stage has implications for the environmental conditions. The physical environment there can be seen from the slum condition of the village which is now clean. Then, biologically, people start to become aware of maintaining cleanliness and health. And finally socially the community began to participate slowly.
