Abstract

This paper aims to determine the role of Banjar Kajeng community, Pemogan Village and relationship between government, investors and local communities in the management of ecotourism attraction in Tahura Ngurah Rai, Denpasar.Research method that used in this research is qualitative method, with theoretical analysis of typology of a community participation and theory of conflict perspective and equipped by tables of tourism actors involved and the patterns of relationship among tourism actors involved in the management of tourist attraction in Tahura Ngurah Rai. The results obtained by this reasearch are the Banjar Kajeng community participation type is manipulative participation and the relationship between the Government, Investors and Local Communities in the Management of Ecotourism attractions in Tahura Ngurah Rai are at conflict stage.

Abstract

Shopping center Malioboro offers a variety of souvenirs typical of Yogyakarta such as shirts, batik, blankon, sandals, and various types of handicrafts. In addition, Malioboro also serves as a culinary center with stalls along the street serving typical food and beverages at very cheap prices. Malioboro also has old buildings of Dutch colonial heritage. This research is located at Jalan Malioboro, Sosromenduran, Gedong Tengen, Yogyakarta City, Special region of Yogyakarta. The aims of this research to understand the attraction, accessibility, amenities, and ancillary also the tourist motivations in this tourist destination. The accidental sampling technique using for informants to collecting data. This research uses qualitative methods with techniques of observation, interview, questionaire, and documentation study. The data analysist technique used descriptive qualitative analysis. The research finds that many variety of attractions (culinary, shopping tour, building architecture, and street artists), accesibility (by transportation and information), amenities (hotels and tourism support facilities) and ancillary (UPT and merchant associations) existed in Malioboro. The motivation of visitors divided by two factors that is the push factor (out of saturation and curiosity) and pull factor (images owned, cheap prices provided, and the atmosphere offered by Malioboro). Abstract

Lembongan Village is one of the areas that is famous for producing the most seaweed in Nusa Penida Subdistrict, Klungkung Regency. The development of tourism in Nusa Lembongan has led to the increasingly marginalized seaweed farming seen from the decreasing number of farmers and agricultural land switching to the tourism sector. This research is important to be carried out in developing seaweed farming revitalization strategies in tourism practices in Lembongan Village. The research method used is a qualitative method with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are done by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Determination of the informant is done by purposive sampling procedure. The results of this study indicate that strategies that can be pursued in the process of revitalizing seaweed farming include; the composition of stakeholders of seaweed farming by three actors, aspects of inhibiting factors and supporting factors of seaweed farming so as to create efforts that can be done to revitalize seaweed farming. Abstract

Angseri village is located in_Baturiti subdistrict, Tabanan regency, Bali. Angseri village has_Angseri Hot Springs as a tourist attraction. This tourist attraction has a special characteristic than another hot springs tourist attraction._The special characteristic of this hot springs is in the middle of bamboo forest. The management of this hot springs started in 2007 until now and this management still running well with many involved party in it. The research that will be done is_about how is the actual condition of Angseri hot springs reviewed on tourism product component and how is the pattern of participation in management of Angseri hot springs in Angseri village which the_management is managed by the local community itself. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with in-depth interview, observation, documentation, and literature_study. The data sources are obtained from primary and secondary data. The theory and concept used are concept of attraction, concept of management,_concept of tourism product component, and theory of participation_typology in management. The actual condition is reviewed from tourism product component located in Angseri hot springs which is an attraction that take benefit from natural potential in the form of hot springs, an adequate access, feasible infrastructures, and the completeness of supporting facilities. In the participation typology of local community in management of Angseri hot springs, there were well organization and management structure and the participation of local community which belongs to pushed participation. In this case, the local community is given socialization by Tourism Department in the beginning of planning Angseri hot springs tourist attraction. Abstract

ABSTRACT Kintamani is an area that has natural beauty and unique culture. So the beauty of Kintamani tourism attraction is no stranger to tourists both foreign tourists and domestic travelers. Geo-park is a territory that includes one or more sites of scientific importance, not only for geological reasons but also by the value of archaeological, ecological or cultural. Geo- park initiative launched by UNESCO in response to the perceived need for an international initiative that recognizes the site represents the interests of earth sciences. Global geo park network program aims to increase the value of the site while at the same time create jobs and promote regional economic development. In this study using data collection methods such as observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Respondent retrieval technique using purposive sampling. While the techniques of data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. In this study the results obtained, the tourist image of Batur Mount Geo- park, tourist imagery to amenities in Kintamani, tourist image of the accessibility and the tourist image of ancillary in Kintamani. Once known tourist image of the components of the tourism it is known to result from Batur Mount Geo-park positioning as an eco-tourism attraction in Kintamani, Bangli.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the practice of geotourism in the area of Karangsambung Geological Nature Reserve, Central Java, with the perspective of duality as a tool of analysis.It was designed by qualitative methods, which was suitable to be applied to understand the dynamics of the uniqueness of human behavior that occurs naturally.The research finding are, the practice of geotourism in Karangsambung which is produced by the Center for Information and Terrestrial Conservation Indonesian Institute of Sciences (BIKK - LIPI) Karangsambung is still caught in the trap of dualism perspective.Geotourism practice which managed exclusively by BIKK – LIPI, it becomes a device for the continuity of symbolic violence against local people.It is a tourism-based violence. It needs the effort to create a new tourism structure that can accommodate the aspirations of the actors in Karangsambung, using panginyongan strategy to break the chain of dualism into duality perspective.

Abstract

The study aims to find the profile in the form of tourist's typology of the three lakes (Beratan, Buyan and Tamblingan) in Bedugul. Tourist's typology related to the characteristics of the tourism market in Bedugul.This study utilize the survey method to deploy a number of questionnaires. The questionnaires in the form of a structured list of questions to respondents in one time (cross-sectional). The questions posed related to the characteristics of the respondent. Respondents in this study are tourits who travel activities in the three lakes. Respondents were determined using non-probability sampling (purposive sampling). Intake of sample based on certain criteria. The criteria based on the judgment or a certain quota specific. Selection of respondents in this study is based on a particular consideration to the purpose of research that tourists visiting the three lakes. The number of samples taken as many as 200 tourists. The number of respondents that are larger than 100 makes it possible to do statistical analysis. The results showed tourist's typology based on the characteristics of tourism market varied in the three lakes. There is also a similarity pattern in each lake typology related tourists visiting that want to enjoy nature and culture based tourist attractions, first timer tourist, and day visitors, tourist spending levels are relatively low, under IDR 500.000.

Abstract

One of the favorite locations of villa in Ubud is the farm area that owned by local communities. It mentioned that the villa has consciously utilizing agricultural landscapes and their activities as a resource to attract tourists. But the existence of the villa has not been able to provide significant benefits for local communities, especially farmers. That can be observed by the emergence of resistance by farmers to the villa. This paper is addressed to the tactic or stratagem of villa in order to deal with of such resistance. The method is a qualitative approach. Data collected from observations and interviews with the villa management, local community representatives, and farmers. They were selected purposively, which they expected to provide comprehensive information about the villa and the local community. The data are grouped and then analyzed descriptively. The result of such analysis showed that the villa in maintaining its existence imposed some tactics or stratagems; the socio-cultural stratagem, economic stratagem, and political stratagem.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the life cycle of tourist destinations in three lakes: Beratan, Buyan, and Tamblingan or referred to as Tri ning Danu, based on tourism capital. This study was conducted considering the research about the lake-based tourism is still very limited, especially in Indonesia. The analysis was carried out using the model of the Tourist Area Life Cycle (TALC) introduced by Butler and the conception of tourism capital inspired by Bourdieu. The integration of both produces a profile of the position or stage of Tri ning Danu tourist destination development more adequately. This approach is relatively new as a breakthrough effort to get rid of conventional reports on the destination developments that generally rely solely on TALC. It is expected that with the added of tourism capital variable will get a more comprehensive view of destination development stage. The results of the stage of Tri ning Danu tourist destination development based on the tourism capital, as follows: Consolidation Stage for Beratan Lake, Involvement Stage for Buyan Lake, and Exploration Stage for Tamblingan Lake.

Abstract

Taro is the one tourism village In Tegallalang subdistric, Gianyar Regency. In the development ofBali tourism, there ia saturation of moderen forms of tourism and want to feel and life in rudal areasmaking the development of tourism in rural areas which Will be packaged in the form of tourism.Tourism Villages in Bali have not all gone smoothly so that they still need help from stakeholder in termsof developing at tourist village. Taro village ia one of the tourist village that has a variety of wonderfulpotential in the form of attraction, as well as tourist attractions. The porpuse of this study was todetermine the existing conditions in Taro tourism village, Tegallalalng sub distric, and to find out theattitude of the local comunity in developing Taro tourism village, Tegallalalng sub distric.The research methodology used in this study ia qualitative research where this qualitative researchuses observation techniques, in depth interview and documentation studies. And using the concept of 4Atourism produce, components in formulating the existing condition of Taro tourism village.The result of the study show that the existing condition of Taro tourism village starting fromattractions, accessibility, fasilitas, and tourism supporting institutions are still in the developmentproccess, so that is requires collaboration between stakeholder d in developing Taro tourism village, andattitude of local comunities in developing Taro tourism village with using the irridex ( Irritation index)concept.Keywords: comunity attitudes, developing villages (irridex), tourism village.
